There is something called gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).....essentially "pregnancy-induced diabetes" in layman terms.Occurs in a pregnant woman who was not previously diabetic.Usually resolves after delivery(though not in all cases).
Now,what exactly did your doctor do for you?did he just do a single sugar test(random?,fasting?) Or did you also do the glucose tolerance test or 2hr post-prandial test?
Also,what did he tell you after the test?He should have given you a diagnosis,counselled you on your díet,lifestyle modifications,treatment options,prognosis/outlook/what to expect etc.Infact,in a good hospital,you will need a dietitian to guide you through till you deliver.
These are not things one can do for you online,bcoz GDM if not properly managed can be fatal to both mother and fetus;For you to have asked this question,I doubt you were properly educated about it.So please,as a matter of urgency,go back to your doctor,talk to him,ask him direct/pointed questions using this comment of mine as a guide.

Really? If that's the case, modify your diet fes make we see wetin go sup. 120 is not so high IMO sha o, just get yur ofada and plenty veggies...you can make it spicy if you're still nauseous. Get hubby to cook for you if you can't do it yourself and stay away from ijekuje, tenkiu!

yeah @cherry my ms was n is a very tough one, weakness, headache, loss of appetite, vomit, dizziness, n all but there wasn't excessive urination or thirst.... I couldn't even take water I take chivita or chi exotic daily. When doc asked n I told her she said all is well that by the time I start eating well all will be normal that it happens. But I should stay away from sugary drinks. But now I also notice that I urinate much Dh said maybe it because I take too much water. I take two big Eva water daily. Lolz I'm serious o. I kukuma gbakamu n made water my friend instead of my regular chi! or hollandia yoghurt. Well that's what she said sha! Dh even suggested for scan to b sure if baby was in good condition n gbam! We did n guess!d boy or girl just de shake yansh e dey jolly for him mansion! Lols it really put a big smile on our faces seeing our LO . I'm grateful @cherry @ayabadamilola n all awon iya oloyun God go bless una o.

. Yeah I got unripe plantain flour today for am ala. Heard that its very good. Ayabadamilola make sugar n Ms go kiakia. U know what? Yes teamie, the same hormone that cause linea nigra, the dark line that runs through your belly also causes dark patches on faces and diff parts of the body of preg women, I'm naturally a dark person oh but a lot darker now, so its part of pregnancy package. Enjoy!

I'm not team Sept, team nov but I also feel the pelvic pain, I started feeling it when I was 16 weeks oh esp when I wake to pee, it makes walking difficult.

My king finally graced us with his presence today with no tears.

I was in labor for 18hrs and had to be induced cos the dilation was slow.

He weighed 3.8kg and looking so healthy.

I'm so grateful
