And Amaechi the minister of transport is from that state. He is only interested in fighting wike and grabbing billions and sponsoring cultists. If Amaechi leaves office without fixing that airport he shoould be banished from his village. He is a Judas.

Nigeria was once a country now living on it's shadows. Seriously living in a Nigeria is more or less pretending to be mad, cos nothing works, no light, bad roads, traffic rules being broken by govt officials, corruption et al. Bad news everywhere. God save us all from this hellhole called Nigeria

It's really sad indeed!
The worst part is that if you look at the faces of Nigerians, nobody is angry at the state of things. They act like all is well and they sing and give their last kobo to pastors, for some miracle to happen such that they become rich overnight even without job or any business.

Then the leaders in the country who travel and see how nations are built come back to Nigeria and act as though everything is alright. We are not even smart enough to decorate our airports which is the first point of contact to foreigners. Your bedroom is dirty, but can you atleast clean the living room parlour so as not to expose your filthy ways?

Nigeria airports gives away our country, precisely because you see the effects of corruption and deprivation and lack of ideas right then and there at the airports.

And then, if you complain or point out, sycophants who collect bribes from the government flood your message and crowd it out with atrocious excuses in defense of a government in which they and their family members are also victims of. What is wrong with us? Why are we so self destructive? Why do you support people who destroy your life and your country? Why support a person whose actions does not benefit you?

We are a doomed people. I do not understand why God made us this way. I see it as punishment. Nigeria is a punishment to humanity.

White-skinned people are bearing that brunt, of creating things and even making food for the black man. Even our own food we cannot make it for ourselves. Everything is imported from white people.

I don't know how white people feel about this but I sure feel ashamed to be built and manufactured for and be feed like helpless babies when we also have a brain to contribute and to take care of ourselves.

Nigeria ooooohhhhh Nigeria my country when shall thou rise.......

the military government mostly of nothern descent annexed the country's funds and developed their areas abandoning the south where the funds originated from.... more reason for the south to wise up and be sincere in making developmental plans to improve its region instead of embezzling - Ibori &co....

one of my grouse with GEJ while he was president was instead of focusing on a good developmental plan for the south south, he was busy building almajiri schools in the north and sharing the loot amongst the elites loyal to him....

Contract issued since 2012.

INTER-BAU is owned by Chief Nath Okechukwu, past President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo.

It is on record that the Senate and the ministry of aviation have been reluctant to penalise him for his failure to deliver.

Care to ask if he has been paid? They downed tools because they werent paid. Both governments are failures, I remember Stella saying the airport was 90% completed, i laughed when i saw it on tv.

Yes, when Stella Oduah made this claim in 2014, according to Sahara reporters, not a dime from the contract sum had been paid. So it's no surprise no work was done.

However, monies have indeed been released yet the contractor continues at a slow pace.

before oil came Nigerians coexisted in peace. .. as oil came greed came...people lusted after power...war came strife came sense of entitlement came or otherwise, why is the FG looking for oil in the chad basin? so that the north can also lay claim to being an oil producing region afterall that is why threat of secession came to be

...the hope of every secessionist agenda was built and centered on oil not any ideoligical principle...oil producing Cameroon and Gabon has the same presidents for how many years now ? Gabon's current president took over from his father in 2009 after his death. His father ruled for 42 years. Biya nko ruling since 1982 thats about 36 years...has the citizenry fared any better? thats the future of a Nigeria divided along tribal lines....worse off than the current status quo
