Hello. So we finally got the pick up mail and sms today at 3:18pm. By His grace, I will pick our passports on Monday at vfs. Timeline: submitted our Dutch visa application on the 6th of June 2018. It took a total of 25 working days(excluding the two week days holidays we had in the month of june). I will share the outcome on Monday and the documents submitted. Cheers

Wow, thank God. It is going to be well. Do give us update. Thank you.

Hello all,

Please many people have complained about accomodation issue and I have recommended the use of leboncoin.fr or you can try this new one i just saw;
http://www.studapart.com/fr/

For guarantor, i also recommended visale.fr and discovered its actually quite complicated. You can actually try to use;
www.garantme.fr

I hope it works and feedback will be appreciated to aid new and prospective applicants. Good luck n cheers.

Well I was able to get some websites for this accommodation issue, but the main problem is paying before arrival. Is there no site that allows student to just book and pay later. I mean when we arrive France? It's really frustrating! Because from what I have seen on all the sites, guarantor or no guarantor, you have to pay before your arrival, in fact, you need to pay while reserving your room, except if you are using CROUS. And Crous is slooooow!

Even Crous requires payment. They gave me a room but required that I pay 175 euros for reservation within 24 hours.

in my opinion, calculate your flight fare, accommodation, shopping and weigh it alongside your 2/3months salary or income cos you are supposed to have money left you r not expected to spend your entire savings for a trip. so your circumstances is what ypu should consider.

Hey bro, sorry you're having a hard time. The accommodation thing is the most stressful part of student visa application. Have you tried leboncoin or studapart or crous? where is your school located?That might add to housing issues. you might need to contact a housing agency in your schools location in france to help with securing housing as a last resort. Just know you'll pay agency fee. Afterwards, try the website ogatboy suggested for a guarantor. Hurry though. It can take time and I know most schools resume first week in September. pele.

Bros your chances depend on more than just the variables you've posted above o! God forbid the consul should view someones application moments after quarreling with his or her boo grin Just do everything right you can and submit knowing you couldn't have been better prepared. Leave the rest to God.

are you travelling alone? are you married or single? what business are you into? how much will your hotel cost you? how much is flight? how many days are you spending? how good is your account inflow and ourflow? look at all these. flights now to paris is over 400k. go to hotels.com or bookings to have an idea of hotel prices. consider one with breakfast.
