Truth really hurts

mine was when am still an undergraduate @futminna. I usually travelled through school gate instead of going to park to board bus, because it's more cheaper when u go through there. on this faithful day, I was to travelled with a friend going to oyo through our normal route, we stand for more than 2hrs without getting any. Behold, this man parked his EOD and asked us where we are heading to, we told him we are going to Ilorin believing my friend we get cheaper bus going to oyo when he get to Ilorin. He asked us if we are not having load and luckily me and my were just with our schoolbag, we hopped in and the journey began. on our way to Ilorin, we started a little conversation which made us realised that the man is a military man. on hearing that, me and my friend started feeling uncomfortable he suggested we should asked d man how much he will take for d ride, I did d asking, but surprisingly d man said he is not interested in our money that he just did it for God sake. I was so happy that day because all I have left with me is d normal tf we do see. where I received the shocked of my life is when the man said he will also help my friend to oyo because he is going to Ibadan. we were full of praise to him cause I felt it's rare to come across such a good Samaritan.

I met this young fine pretty lady in the bus from Mowe to Oshodi. She was on her way back from Nysc camp (2016 batch A stream 1) and i was to go for the next stream. This was what brought up our conversation and it was like we knew eachother before that day,even one woman in the bus was just eyeing me like "naso una dey start...yeye boi". The funny thing till today is we never exchanged contact because i didnt ask and she didnt too,we got to Oshodi and we exchanged byes. Truth be told she expected it because she turned back to look at me (i did same too)

I'll break protocol and say one I did for someone. There's this babe living opposite my house; we don't talk or greet cos we hardly see due to work and basically I try not to be top social in my hood. On this fateful night, she came home so late (past 11pm) and was busying knocking at their gate but no response. I was watching a movie and heard the constant sound made by the gate until midnight I decided to come out and see what was going on. Turns out her peeps were all asleep at home and she had no airtime to ring them. She was already in tears cos nobody would've come to her rescue. So went back to get my phone and we rang everyone at home- No one was picking. Told her to prepare to scale their fence as I would help her up. I can't harbour her at home that night. Then we tried calling her dad the last time and he woke up. She was so so happy. We became friends until she left this hood.

As a broke ass I was stuttering telling her of my situation, Alas i got the shock of a lifetime when she counted 5k and handed it to me, I froze, i couldn't move or say a word, I have just asked her for 5h and she gave me 5k, bluntly refusing to take it back even when I told her 5h was enough to take care of my predicament, I lost every idea on how best I could show my appreciation and gratitude. Not a day when I don't say a silent prayer for her. She might be human but to me I had a contact with an Angel.

that's what they do at clubs. she's a runs girl that couldn't get a client for the night, decided to go home with the guy who showed interest in her. She hoped to get paid when they got home, but in the guy's mind, he wants to try his luck to see if he's caught an easy lay. Last last when she demanded for money, the young man realized she's an Okpo. Nigga says "I ain't paying u shit, u sleep n lemmi sleep, tomorrow u leave".... All this their story na for who no know them.

One day after work, I went to filling station to buy fuel and the guy in front of me paid for my full tank without asking for my number or my name.just like that.

Generally i have problem relating with people. Like i don't like getting closer to people. So the best i always do is to try and make peopls day and be there for humanity sake. After that, we are so done. I'm like so outta this world. Don't know if there's another like me on earth though. I feel so wierd even to myself.

My memorable moments was in 2016 when i was working in an hotel as a waiter, then there was a day that my boss hire two girls to come and advertise his newly product to the customers, so on that faithfull day i bumped into one of them and we started talking we had a good time together and i notice that she really fell for me from the onset that she set her eyes on, we started talking and funny enough we ate together in the same plate and we gist, to be frank it was a love at first sight and she fall me too, everything that we did together was on the same day, the sad part of it was that my account money was not complete for that day, because i was carried away by her, buh my boss notice the way we were doing on that faithfull day, and he tamper justice on me and he never deduct out of my money to balance up the account, because he understand that i was carried away by her and such thing never happen to me before, till date am still missing her badly, I always pray to bumped into her someday, sadly enough i didn't collect her number, initially i plan to collect it the next day buh they went back early in the morning before i get to work, I still blame myself till now, becausey i didn't collect her number...

Back when I was in 200l,i hate going home because I have no friends I can relate with at home. It was the time of post utme,i was walking on the street of my hostel when one lady came to me for a favour. She said she was here for the exam and she had no where to stay, she asked me if I could get her a place to sleep overnight, I told her all my female friends had gone home, and the only option left was for her to sleep at my place. She didn't mind, so I took her to my place,offered her food and we got along quickly.
I didn't know what happened during the night but we found ourselves having S*x. The next day,I followed her to school for her exam,after the exam we hit the gas almost all day and night again, then we exchanged nos and she left for home which she told me was Ibadan......we spoke for about 2 weeks or so,and all of a sudden her line didn't go through again. Admission list came out and I didn't see any traces of her in school. I know for sure she lost her phone cos we were already into each other. Have not changed my hostel incase you are here on nairaland reading this

Well,my encounter with a stranger happened with me being the helper instead.
So i met this girl like 2 months ago at one hotel in port harcourt(Hartford hotels for those that know)
Was having car issues(overheat) and i was trying to fix it in the lot.all of a sudden,this pretty girl that i was eyeing whilst at the reception came outside crying
In my mind i was like this is my oppurtunity.
Well to cut the long story short,i walked up to her,asked what the problem was and baam!
She happened to be a small time hooker whose client had made away with her phone and money without paying her a dime
Well,me being nice decided to take this girl to airtel(phc mall) to retrieve her line,gave her 5k as pocket money,took her to wimpey junction and chartered a cab to take her home.(althrough she wept about her never been able to have a guy cater and show love to her like i did)
In my mind,i thought i was in love.called her i will see her on thursday,but have to travel the weekend to spend time with family.
Behold,when i finally met her,she started yapping about how i was supposed to use the money i wasted on flight ticket to get a phone for her and all that,how her life depended on it and bla,bla,bla...i knew there and then that i had invested my emotions on the wrong girl

that was how one came to my compound with someone after eating the guys cash didn't want to give him punny Oga vex wan change am for am luckily my guy and me were stepping out saw them and tried resolving the issue, next thing she said was she wasn't a runs girl but she stays opposite Casablanca (pls which building is opposite Casablanca?) Tho we talked to Oga and em soft, madam was busy rubbing me bress in the name of wanting me to intervene.

Mine happened when I was in 2015 wen I was in year 2. I had called home for money and I was told to wait till month end. I was broke as fvck. Was returning home from class one afternoon thinking of how i'll manage myself wen I noticed a car parked in front of my hostel, then a lady with a slight limp got down from d car(she must have been there a while) she, approached me nd asked I showed her to d toilet in my hostel. I took her there. Asked her if she needed anythin else, she said no, and that she only wanted to change. I waited a bit for her to "change" so dat I can show her d way out of d hostel. She came out from d toilet and gave me a thousand bucks and I told her I did nothing at all for her and anybody could have shown her d toilet. She insisted I took d money and folded it inside my pocket! I walked her out of d hostel and we got talking she told me she graduated in 1999 or thereabout and she was among d first set of people dat had stayed in my hostel then and she had come for something which I can't even recall sef. And she was comfortable with my face that was why she approached me. She said she was going to visit me from time to time and till date I didn't see her again.

My car got stuck in some remote location, in the middle of a junction, I was blocking traffic with an army van behind me. Stranded and clueless as to my next move. Suddenly six area boys approached me and within an instant my car was out of the mud. While i pondered how i was going to show appreciation to people i felt where touts, with my pockets on zero naira. I parked to thank the boys but when I came out they where all gone. I called them and they said bye without even looking back. Turned out they where no touts after all. Random acts of kindness do exist and that moment changed me into helping others in similar situations.

Mine was the day a friend that I really trust abandoned me because I don't have money (I was in SS1 then) . We use to take taxi which is 50naira and lap each other and rotate the tf payment. That day I had no money on me, We board taxi and I told him that I don't have any money on me that I will pay our tf for 2 days, he told the driver to stop that I want to drop then he push me out the taxi and went all alone (he has the money to pay and the money will still be the same if we still lap).

I started to trek from school which will take me 2 hours before I get home. 20 mins later, while on my way, someone from somewhere just stopped his bike (not an okada man), ask where I dey go, I told him and he said though his destination is different but he will drop me somewhere close to my destination (30mins trek to my home).

I can't tell how happy I am that day. I never come across till date. About that my guy we are still friends though but I still have the urge to revenge.

Me too. I don't have friends and don't want to. I don't like relating to people at all and just prefer to be left alone. When I make it I will move to somewhere remote where I will be the only person around for hundreds of miles.
