So is this how they plan to revamp the petroleum sector? This is why these egoistic presidents we get burdened with should never hold office of Minister of Petroleum cos they lose all objectivity! 17 Likes |

Buhari is bent on setting Nigeria back at least 200 years before he rests , the petroleum industry bill is there to guarantee the growth of our oil industry and the interests of Nigerians and not to protect the interest of any lifeless fulani minister of petroleum who has done nothing but reduce the NNPC to an anachrone of an organization with structures similar to Usman Danfodios council of ulamas 100s of years ago. 78 Likes 6 Shares |

Shame on buhari, he thinks he will be in office forever. That's the problem with illitracy. He's dumb, sacrifices has to be made for better tomorrow. Where then is the self acclaimed integrity buhari professes? All the ministers he met refused him to accent to the bill? Who are the ministers? The greedy holes that are there for their selfish motives? Worst of all, buhari is talking about his power as petroleum minister, which power? The one to build more refineries in katsina? What a pity! 40 Likes 2 Shares |

It is all about selfish personal interest even at this old age where he should be thinking about a lasting good legacy to leave. His power as a minister is what he cares about, not the growth of the Industry, Not the part that affects the masses, not the interest of the nation. All he wants is his power to make N50B to disappear and N4Tr not to be remitted to FG according to the latest released audit. 20 Likes 4 Shares |

Nigeria is one crazy country. Buhari was elected as president and not petroleum Minster. simply because he usurped that role and Nigerians kept quiet,to him and his cronies it is the norm. now he is talking about whittling down his powers as Minster, did the constitution say that an elected president should automatically assume the role of petroleum Minster? 25 Likes 2 Shares |

it has always been about power and oil, except they remove the offshore/onshore dichotomy from the bill, I don't see Buhari signing it. The bill would also give DPR the power to collect and remit oil royalty and petroleum tax to FAAC instead of NNPC. After Buhari had strategically positioned himself and his chief of staff Kyari, and Baru as board members of NNPC, and they have started signing hush hush contracts, and remittances have become questionable, he will now sign such bill.... lol, Mr Integrity wouldn't want to wash his dirty linen outside. Am sure Saraki's camp intentionally pushed the bill to him, so that Nigerians can see Mr integrity for who he really his 30 Likes 2 Shares |

His lifeless powers abi. This man is more concerned with the gains from oil than the betterment of this country...he is becoming worse by the minute and those people supporting him know this but are just mute because of the fear of losing their jobs. Imagine the kind of corruption that will be going on in the petroleum industry. No brains but you want to handle the most sensitive part of our economy. The most painful thing now is that Nigerians are suffering and have become objects of mockery by the international community. I am so vexed this morning. We simply deserve better 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Wait.. THE NEW ENTITIES For one thing, these bunch of fallouts is what we currently have in the power industry (that's currently crawling), especially Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission. They're trying to model the power and energy sectors after a similar structure. We don't know who's behind this. However, Buhari's reason for not signing it is laughable! We don't want his unreliable, unscripted speeches and attitude on the sector. Petroleum industry is too large an entity for a fellow the world now knows as lifeless. 9 Likes 1 Share |
