[quote author=ItsMeAboki post=75140790]LOL, their absence will not stop the new acting CJN from functioning or the courts from operating - soldier come soldier goes, shikenan. It may be you tomorrow. Is there any Nigeria judge not like suspended cjn? Your man Buhari acting based on his emotion and not constitution, if not why Dasiki is yet to be released when court had granted him bail? And the same Buhari hurriedly acted on court order. Please no one should jubilate, we are in serious trouble. 3 Likes |

They are not productive enough to earn a living through good old entrepreneurial ingenuity and acumen, so they live and die in politics. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Hedonini: While do some of you keep mentioning "Yorubas"? I know of very many Yorubas who are ordinarily against the Buhari Presidency , some more than you. And I have no doubt that a majority of them despite this move by Buhari regardless of their political persuasions. Moreover, you mistake the voracious voice of Tinubu associated Yorubas as meaning that all Yorubas are that stupid. Don't think so 10 Likes 2 Shares |

The sad thing about this case is ...well...twofold. 1.It is sad that the CJN has clearly commited a crime, yet has to be forced out of office...so that the Supreme Court is not messed up. 2.Also sad and unseemly that the Government in essence broke the law to prosecute the CJN. We saw how EFCC under Ribadu broke the law in their efforts to prosecute some poltical officers...which in some way ended up backfiring on the EFCC big time. No way how there won't be a backlash. The CJN is corrupt...let's follow due process in prosecuting him...even if it means nothing gets done. 3.This whole case shows that APC and PDP have no business runing Nigeria. APC stalwarts are busy defending illegalities. PDP stalwarts are defening the right of a crook to hide from prosecution behind legalese. Both sides are using the saga as a political weapon. And Nigerians are joining in the fight. It's like I said....Nigerians are not really interested in fighting corruption. And sorry...but if we break up this country...all the new countries are going to be messed up places...yes, that includes Biafra, Oodua, Sharialand, etc....because Nigerians love corruption...and don't want to fight it. Anyway, I keep on keeping on. 1 Like |

Racoon: I agree with your quote...but that still does not excuse a whole Chief Justice of Nigeria forgetting to declare ALL his assets as mandated by the laws of this country. You guys rightly critique PMB for acting above the law...so why defend the CJN too for acting above the law? Why can't he resign and clear his name. ? Is his corruption acceptable because he is seen as being against Bubu? You are justifying corruption the same way the APC justifies illegality 3 Likes |
