Did you actually graduate from a University ? (Nigerian or Foreign does matter ) I’m just curious.

Anyway lemme enlighten you a bit upon admission into a university each student is given a prospectus/student handbook etc which briefly tells you details as well as rules of the school amongst other things.

If you did go to school then I’m pretty certain you never bothered to read yours... hence your post .

Before you tow this part, first ask yourself what’s the consequence of not registering for a whole semester.
It’s better to seek for mercy than go into battle with the school especially when they acted within their guidelines.

I had similar case,I deferred though but couldn't resume as at the time I stipulated, so I had to go to my HOD with letter and proofs explaining why I could not resume, letter was deliberated on by members of the senate of the school and approval was given and I was recalled, so you can try this also.

It's obvious you relented doing the needful as at when due. From your previous topic you willingly refused to do something about your registration for the previous session and you didn't defer till when you are able to. I'm sure if you had financial difficulties then, the university would have made provisions to put you on hold as fingers are not equal. You had this coming!

Just because you were unable to register for previous semester does not imply that they rusticate you. I advice you see your course adviser, HOD or any professor in the Senate building

My boy was thrown out in his 300L.Rather than condemned him, I made him take responsibility and encouraged him to put himself together. Well something similar happened to me, it was 3 semesters without reg. Due to some issues.. I applied for condonement of those semesters Senate sat and approved it(which is quite unusual because they don't approve more than 2 semesters), though I involeved a lot of high ranking school officials who defended my case in the Senate. So I think you should go to the school counselor, he/she would tell you how to go about condonement it us most preferably you use health as your excuse though, that's more efficient than using other excuse. You'd get a medical report from a government hospital that says you were in there care all those time you missed school. But see the school counselor all schools have different processes so the counselor who advise you on the best approach.

P.s condonement means you'd have extra year already as it means you were not around all those time and the school would remove that period from your details.

My friend not so fast. Before you do nonsense, go and read student's rules and regulations. There are some hidden clauses which prevent students from dragging school to court.

This is an administrative issue which I think could be easily resolved by student affairs body in your school.

If you are interested all you need to do is go to your course adviser and find a solution Negotiate and then make sure u get to Governing council of what ever university you are in Smart Nigeria

We all know there is a stipulated period of time for course registration after which the portal will b closed n reopened for late registration. How come u felt so comfortable not registering? Even if u were doing ur IT abroad, someone can easily register for u. Even if u had money issues, ur LA should b aware so he would defend u at the senate. You didn't register, u didn't inform ur LA n u were comfortable, who does that in final year?

Mind u, u can't be Rusticated based on d fact dat u didn't register. Rustication comes in place when u have done something serious n before that u will have gone through series of questioning both at the department, faculty n senate levels. Rustication is a long process, cos once u re Rusticated u can't be readmitted so no school just Rusticates, highest dem go give u extra year for not registering a semester

My sister you're aware of the registration yet you ignored it because you thought it's irrelevant, now the repercussion turns out to mess you up at your final level imagine. Don't joke in university Una no dey hear, ds minor things you take for granted normally comes out to deal with people who don't take school procedures serious. Though learnt my own lesson regarding accumulation of carryovers.

Bro same thing here missed my I.T defence last week and portal closed was unable to do reg only for me to see my name that am withdrawn... I just sit down dey think wet in I wan do with my life after 3 wasted years

Go and find out why you were rusticated and don't just assume its because you didnt register for last semester.
What if your SSCE result you submitted when u gained admission is not complete or has issues?
Just try and find out what led to rustication and then inform your parents/guardian then you will know how to proceed with a solution from there. I can imagine the psychological trauma you are going through. Just take it easy bro.

Same shoes here. Mine was 2017. If you have a budget of 6m I know how you can get a bsc in 2yrs. In malta

Exactly... .maybe shes not using the right word. Another possibility is she may have been withdrawn due to extremely poor grades.
