Ghana/Nigeria 2000
The final between Nigeria and Cameron, a young me cried uncontrollable did not stop until dad told me the match will be replayed. Since that day I don't think Nigeria has lost to Cameron.

Some of my top most heartbreaking moment in football.

USA 1994: NIGERIA VS ITALY
Just as discussed on a thread here yesterday, Roberto Baggio gave me heart attack that day which took few days before i could recover.

Ghana/Nigeria 2000( Cup of Nation ) : CAMEROUN VS NIERIA .... FINAL
Immediately Victor Ikpeba penalty was disallow my BP nearly cut, it was a very sad Sunday evening.

SYDNEY 2000 ( OLYMPIC FOOTBALL GAME )
Nigeria Vs Chile
This particular match every Nigeria sport papers tagged Agali vs Zamarano tongue Victor Agali was our Ahmed Musa of that tournament tongue Chile beat us like small pickin and i cannot forget that morning.

Trinidad and Tobago 2001 ( FIFA U-17 )

One of the best Nigeria outing in junior level. This tournament produce Nigeria player like Femi Opabunmi, Temile, Sambo and co shocked Due to time difference, every match for this tournament is midnight Nigeria time. Chai, futbol don suffer me tongue
Our opening match was against France which we won but they revenge for Final whooping us 3-0.

Sinama-Pongole and Le Tallec those boys shows us pepper that midnight.

Korea/Japan 2002 ( Fifa world cup )
Nigeria vs Sweden

Our darling Super Eagle needed that match so badly as second match of the tournament after we have lost first game to Argentina. We started the match well, with brilliant performance but last last Henrik Larssen do us strong thing. To go school that day na war tongue
Interesting...

E clear say you be old timer oooo. Lol

Chelsea vs Barca 2009.. Daylight robbery. After Michael Essien stunner, Iniesta equalised at last possible minute. Ballack screamed at referee when the referee shrugged off the penalty appeal by the blues that would have correctly awarded...only if VAR has come to play then.
#GGMU still wink
the picture is still fresh in my head

Chelsea Barca second leg.

Barca played all they could, hit bar tire.

Chelsea defence was like rock, Barca fans kept believing for a breakthrough.

That defence was the true definition of PARK THE BUS, coz nothin was penetrating.

Until Torress scored that goal that die minute, I wan die. I felt like someone stabbed me in my chest.

E remain small I for smash the glass cup wey dey my hand for bar wey I dey , I was so annoyed!!! I was broken!!!

That night was the most painful for me in football

followed by Bayern Barca 7up (OMG the humiliation)
outclassed, out muscled out witted. Then recently Liverpool origi goal comes a close third.

But Chelsea Barca na I'm pepper me the most

Istanbul 2005 grin A wonderful night full of drama grin though initially i supported AC Milan because of Shevchenko, love Shevvy that time but immediately the Ancellotti removed him and other stars after leading, i was angry then i switch to Liverpool. That night was classical and cannot be forgotten so soon.

Seems you've forgotten a little bro
Shevy wasn't subbed
Infact he was the one that missed the last kick of the night that gave Liverpool the UCL trophy

It was the scariest and the most emotional I ve ever come across in football tournament when I saw the small boy cried for Brazil. It was heartbreaking.

I think it was reverse luck because EXACTLY the same thing happened to Chelsea fans when iniesta equalized...in that Semi-final.

You're wrong bro. Shevvy played all through the game. Heck, he was the one that actually missed the penalty whcih led to Liverpool's victory.

Nig vs Argentina 2005. Since that day I dislike Messi and Barcelona till date, I struggled to forgive Messi. I felt Messi robed us and that was the day I got freedom from football. I was depressed, couldn't eat and since then told myself football will never do that to me again.
Same here...that was Messi's first outing. I have hated him ever since. Him winning 2010 balon d or instead of Schneider even made me hate him more

yes 2009 was painful too. A certain Emmanuel Sani played selfishly the day of the finals because he was in line to get the golden boot
