Yoruba people have a lot of work to do their dented reputation as a politically unstable and wavering people.

Nobody wants to risk being fooled more than once.

Start with your family units, churches and mosques and teach your children how to be honorably stand by political principles without wavering, come what may, even at the risk of their own lives.

Teach them not to keep a straight face and shamelessly keep deodorizing their political gaffes that have cost them and other regions their lives and right to protest in a supposedly democratic dispensation.

Finally teach them that hate for the East who are foresighted as vindicated by past events will not get them anywhere.

Maybe then the rest of south may be ready to risk their toenails to go into a political alliance with you.

You have a point but let also look at how Jonathan administration sidelined them politically in terms of appointment, They knew the risk involved but they have no choice.

Guy No need to deceive ourselves.

Yorubas hatred to Igbos is Real.

In Last presidential election, yoruba youths were going from one polling unit to another searching and attacking Igbos.

The oba of lagos threatened to throw Igbos in lagoon if the do not vote his candidate.
All yorubas applaud and cheered him.

When Nigeria army were killing unarmed Igbo youths protesting, yorubas were rejoicing, shouting kill them All,more Bullet in your guns.

lee Anya ebea nna! Don't be deceived , wat u see is as follows:

* yorubas with alternate monickers (one for seeking unity with igbos ,the other for bashing igbos)

* Yorubas saying" I Do" in the morning and night "I no Do"( they call it sophisticated wisdom)

The later is y u do not trust a yoruba
Example is metaphysical several months ago ,he was speaking like a man who wants to liberate oduduwa from all shackles of bondage from centre, he attacked buhari in so many ways , he made friends through that including me ,now the same metaphysical is praising buhari and his administration ,that buhari did more Dan Jonathan ,yaradua and obj put together , I was so disappointed ,

I have checked igbos here no one has swinged , the once that hate abakaliki has been hating them since 2009 ,the once that hate buhari , obiano and Kanu has been doing ,but when taught a lesson will open a thread to say " I now support Kanu" because swinging brings shame

In every betrayal they carry out they boast of wisdom to manipulate ,sorry igbos can never be friends with yorubas

It was very evident that yorubas would have rioted against Igbos if Buhari had lost in 2015. I was in lagos and everywhere was political charged, the Igbos were the 'vallain'.

I refused to discuss politics with most of my yoruba acquaintances.

Yet one numbskull called idid is trivializing the matter and claiming they are simply having 'Buyer's remorse'.

So you'd have killed people for a product you would later turn around to trivialize as 'Buyer's remorse'?

That GEJ sidelined yorubas is the biggest lie of the century. The only problem they had with GEJ was that he gave Igbos a sense of belonging, they considered it an abomination that GEJ appointed the first Igbo chief of Army post-war.

They considered it a taboo that GEJ appointed the first Igbo I.G post-war.

They considered it a taboo, that Okonjo-Iweala was Minister of finance and determined when federal money should be saved. They slandered the woman and claimed she was corrupt but she is still doing well today at the global level and it still pains some of them.

If Okonjo had been caught forging certificates like Kemi Adeosun did before her disgraceful exit, we wouldn't hear the last of till today. Yoruba columnists and propagandist like the HiV- stricken Ogundamisi will still be talking about it today.

Under GEJ, a yoruba minister flourished, built his profile and today is the president of African development bank. Yorubas have never given GEJ that accolade for helping Adesina catapult himself to the top.

Embracing the Igbos (who lost the war) was his sins, not sidelining the yorubas. We are not all fools in this country na.
