2.5X uber surge lured me to Ikorodu from yaba for the first time this year.
Am done with ikorodu. That place isn't part of lagos.
After ending trip, I ran back to civilization without blinking

I almost felt like crying yesterday, after I've cancelled all dat is left of both,I decide to take a leap of faith on a 1.7 surge to Ikorodu cos rider told me its just around agric... As I start d trip at Allen, I saw off obafemi awolowo rd, I pulled over and told dem I'm not going again, dis elderly woman plead emotionally and as me to see it as help, I just felt bad, she have to rest that on my conscience. Took me an hour to get a desirable trip back to Berger. I really regret going to that side.

No b dem give conditions for weekend trips?

So why then won come dey change am for us

Let’s come together guy’s enough is good

guys, my bros is arranging to get me a corolla by Jan or Feb. please, between Lagos and abuja, where can one make good money on e-hailing? though I know Lagos is more hectic than abj but I don't mind that.

It depends on you broda.

You will also make money in Abj . the diff is just that in Lag, there is an unending stream of riders at any time of the day.

In Lagos. On weekends, you cash out big time cos people attend events n social functions.

In Abuja, weekends are usually dry revenue wise as against the weekdays.

In Lagos, you can't predict traffic, the ehailing coys HV rigged the apps such that you only make money when you r moving ( covering miles)
Bolt will pay you #8 for every min. Just look @ that !

In Abj, traffic is minimal except some areas like Mararaba- Nyanya - AYA axis ( time specific, rush hours) Kubwa- suleja axis ,
Galadima roundabout- games village axis( time specific too)

Although d kind of traffic over there is child's play to d dt of Lagos.

In Abj, good road network, no harassment , no local govt boys, no lastma ,except d agberos n dy don't disturb you if you don't pick deir passengers.

But if you want the Lion's share, you need a Lion's heart, and that my broda, can only be gotten in Lasgidi.

Good luck !

Compliment of the season everyone. Hope we enjoyed ourselves and remember... Don't drink and drive this period.

Firstly, my partner decided to flex with his car this period, as it was Christmas day. So I am still waiting on him to release the car.

However, happened 2 days ago as I was trying to navigate through the city in an attempt to get used to the road network here in Abuja, which is going fine. I discovered that my phone was showing warning of over heating. When I tried to pick it up, I was so scared as it was terribly hot. A toddler can easily get burnt by the heat.

I had the Google map running and the screen was at 40% brightness and charger was plugged in as the battery was running down. It's an Infinix note 4 phone.

Please, has anyone noticed the this same issue? I had to switch off the phone and allowed it to cool down before turning it back.

Many phones will get hot while ur map or ehailing app is ON. Except for few. Always place your phone on your car ac to cool it down at intervals. Just place it on top for few seconds.

Hot2mopko virus as d name implies is a kind of virus that makes the temperature of your phone go high to the extent that it can burn even an adult when inside pocket.gringringrin

Bros hope I assist u well...lol

Anyways, maybe you should take d phone to an engr let them check what d prob is that’s if it’s still getting hot even after turning it off

Lol, before we got there. I recall they once told me not to use any route that have police check points, na so I begin driving like mad man come claim to call my colleague as a policeman. I noticed they were panicking then I accused them of smoking in my car, they started swearing they never did such a thing.
I come calm down begin dey explain to them about surge and the wrong destination they put and all that.
That it will affect their fare, they said they don't have much on them ooo.
I end trip finally it was 7,400. After roughly 20 minutes of argument they grudgingly paid I confirmed the trip.
That's the end
grin
Thank God say I don first shake them

You need a phone hanger you can attach to an AC vent in your car. It costs #1,000 only - just ask those boys that sell phone accessories in traffic.

Hang your phone to your AC vent using the phone hanger. Even if your phone is 1%, it will charge fully to 100% within 2 hours. It won't be hot again. But make sure you have a casing for the back of your phone so moisture doesn't enter into it.

If this doesn't solve the problem, I owe you #20,000. Just come back on the thread and claim your cool cash.

I think the analysis was done here recently and it was shown thar uber is slightly better. But i'm of the view of sticking to a platform one is comfortable with so one meets the bonus on time and lower commission rates. Just have other platforms by the side and switch incase the darling platform misbehaves.

My own opinion.

BTW, I still need a car for rental.
