I think the south west should come our em mass and vote for our candidate in 2023. Let's forget any political sentiment this time. Let's show d north we really match their population. If 70% of people in lagos vote and 80 % of ppl in oyo votes, those votes will swallow kano and kaduna votes combined. Let's show these northerners what we are made off. They keep intimidating us fa. |

But you expect to be trusted to determine who can rule in-spite of Fulani Herdsmen, Boko Haram, land grabbing attempts for ur murderous kinsmen from other parts of Western & Northern Africa and repeatedly attempting to islamize the country? Why should that 'child' be ever allowed to rule again? Stupid Aboki mentality 5 Likes 1 Share |

The North that has the presidency, how's life for the northerners. We are not even done with first quarter of 2020 these ones are talking about 2023. If the north has the presidency for 50yrs nothing might change. Nigeria is a fools paradise, ethnicity and religion designed to keep people stupid. Find a way to sort urself and ur family and enjoy ur life. Katsina has not been turned to paradise , neither has Lagos changed much. 1 Like |

Someone is up there deceiving himself as though Yorubas are the thorn in some pseudo Southern unity. He even said Yorubas are perpetually weeping opposition This my Friend does not understand the level at which his people have become underdogs in the Nigerian political configuration. Like my brother rightly pointed out, in this fourth republic, we have been in the presidential limelight for more than thirteen years, out of twenty-one; a group has none Well, I am not all in for all these permutations of federal benefits accruing to our region, in comparison to that of others. I just want a return to the defunct region-based fiscal and functional federalism in which We, Yorubas, would be the sole anchors of our prosperity and development, and not be at the mercies of some semi-literate upgraded, privileged archaics whose racial genes and intelligentsia are far behind the Omo Kaaro Ojiire. Else, Oodua Republic is imperative! I am a Yoruba nationalist, not an opportunistic glorifier of this failing project called Niger Area 7 Likes 2 Shares |

CSTR2:if you don't recognize by now that non of these makes sense, then you never will. if the SE follow your suggestion and vote a northern candidate because they want to "re-enter mainstream", then what happens after another 8 years? the SW gets lobbied and also decide to "re-enter mainstream" by voting another Northern candidate. where or when will the foolishness of southern Nigeria end? 4 Likes |

Awol1: Just imagine! Northerners dont make agreement on Presidency with anyone! Just imagine that they did not honor their agreement with Yorubas since 2015, how come do you then expect them to honor any greement with Igbos, who have even more less clout, compared to Yorubas. Igbos need to understand, and l say this with all honesty, that even if they dont like Nigeria and want Biafra, THE ONLY PATH for an Igbo presidency, lies in an alliance with the South West. Nnamdi Kanu has agreed to this much, when he tried forming a rapport with Omoyele Sowore. The Northerner will NEVER give an Igbo man the Presidency, Never, not with all the agreements of this world How the Igbos chose to burn the bridge they need to cross this river, while seething with hatred, is beyond human logic! 7 Likes 1 Share |

LegendHer0: You will be very surprised. South south too wants presidency and giving a southerner the ballot means they'll have to wait for like 16 years to get Presidency again. They will prefer a northerner so they can entertain hopes for 2031. A northerner would be president come 2023. It's so glaring |

Urchman200: Yes you’re right. Every tribe need each other and diplomacy is a tool of politics. The Igbos sometimes don’t believe in diplomacy and they don’t seems to understand no man is an island. I‘m happy you said Igbo will do what Yoruba did in 2015 by allying with the North. That’s nice, it’s the game of politics. You can support the North if your think your interest will be protected. LegendHer0: Osinbajo will not fly! He has always lied against Jonathan and disrespected him. Anybody who disrespects Jonathan provokes millions. Atiku is a much better candidate. As for Kwakwanso, I can't tell. If many know him to be a fundamentalist like Buhari, he stands no chance. Osibanjo needs more than 30 percent in any zone in the South. He has to win the 3 Southern zones by a landslide and do very well in the middle belt to win. As for the North west and North east, in the last 20 years, no Southern politician has won elections in their respective regions. The day the South lost it was the day the South west, with the help of Amaechi worked against Jonathan. I will advice the South west to forget the presidency in 2023 and support an acceptable candidate from any part of the South instead. That's the only way they can boost their chances in the future. 2023 looks like a race between the Igbo and North in my opinion. One of both would likely emerge. I feel the North has real chances of retaining power. 1 Like 1 Share |

Excuzeme: Aligning with south west would never be in the interests of the east. If south east wants Presidency, they should instead kill the biafran idea asap. South west do not care about the east. The east knows this. In fact, if the east gets the trust of the North, after of course ending Biafra talks, they can have a chance. Nigeria is owned by the north and only the north can allocate power to whom they deem fit 1 Like 1 Share |

Excuzeme: Any alliance with the Southwest will end in sorrow because they will backstab you. The yorubas voted a known bigot and illiterate to spite the Igbos whom the supposed were enjoying under GEJ. By so doing, they let loose the first ball of a vicious cycle which shall keep rolling. Let Meyitti Allah have power perpetually if that's what it takes. 4 Likes 1 Share |
