When did providing funds for d purpose of sustaining a protest become a crime? Can u show us where it is in our statutes? How were d demands met& what made d continuous protests a crime? Was it because d protesters refused to back down that d govt unleashed thugs/hoodlums to persistently attack them in Abuja, Benin, Lagos& osogbo?

What "chief land border smugglers" are u referring to and what has that got to do with endsars protests? Who are d "major sponsors of the #endsars hoodlums"?

Listen carefully, I am quite apolitical. However let me educate you a little. No modern democracy will tolerate receipts of funds by private accounts within its domain from foreign entities/individuals for the purpose of breaching public peace in its nation.

The frozen accounts I am sure were monitored and discovered to have been used to fund the protest. The protest in itself was not a problem. But receiving funds from foreign donors to keep the protest going was an act of mutiny and subversion. No sensible government will or should ever tolerate it.

Countries become failed states when this kind of act is overlooked. You wake up one day to see a wartorn country.
Be reasonable, we still have a country and a government no matter your opinion about them.

Just because they protested to end bad governance,........in this same country a state House of assembly speaker received 51million naira several times in a day and they didn't freeze his account.......hmmmmm, the stories our unborn children would hear and read about this country, such a shame.

CBN wanted 180 days.

FHC gave them 90 days.

That counts for something.

Nothing stops the parties contesting the order

The accounts were frozen because at the time of the protest, certain accounts received sum of money which to the knowledge of the Secret Service, and thorough investigations, were meant to keep the protest going on even after the demands were being met.

You might not find this info elsewhere.... But that is it.

Also, it might get to a stage where it becomes necessary for the above-named people to proof their innocence in their association with some 'chief land border smugglers' who formed part of the major sponsors of the #endsars hoodlums who had no other aim but to force the border securities to flee their posts and they would operate freely.

YOU SHOULD SHUT UP WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE ANY SENSIBLE THING TO SAY!!!

I Love this. Account for the money. Somebody really used the #ENDSARS to cash out.

Like the pharmacist in Port Harcourt who still had millions in his account even when Port Harcourt wasn't the center piece of the#ENDSARS protest and protests had ended few weeks ago.

He wasn't even a major organizer. They were making money while youths were getting teargassed and shot. Some of them didn't go to the protests grounds for more than two times in the two weeks the protests held sway.

And you think those are our problem embarassed

Sincere protests do not involve financial gratification or sponsorship.

The #EndSARS protest which demands were legitimate, had been used for other ulterior motives.

The same way terrorists and militants use legitimate agitations to pursue selfish, financial and subversive interests.

This is what happen when you divert a well organized and successful protest to achieve your ethnic motive. The protest was coming to fruiting until an unfortunate incident made some people to unleash their hatred from Tinubu by inciting violence. The government that was initially shifting position in response to the demostration and trying to negotiate is now the one giving us condition. Do you see where bitterness could lead us?

I pray that any southerner who supports this act by the fulani government will have their mothers and sisters raped by fulani raiders and their sons killed by SARS.

APC or PDP, Yoruba or Igbo, Muslim or christain if you support a government that witch-hunts protesters asking for police reform but gives amnestry to militants and bandits you're an evil person that deserves Dante's 7th hell.

No logical argument can explain the witch hunting of protesters by a government that came to power through protests.

Government should have guilded the protesters. And arrest the hoodlums that were vandalizing properties.
You may have been affected very much by the destruction and lootings, but real #EndSars protesters were peaceful.

We all feel sad for the destructions and lootings.

It's too late for being sad. Even some of the#Endsars protesters had their stores burgled. Majority are regretting thier actions that stoked the violence as I don't think they can bounce back again cuz most of them stocked there store with loans collected from banks. Lesson learnt

See, for these nonsense you posted, may thunder fire you, I for say your entire generation, but dem nor offend me. Does this foolish post even make any sense to you? People fought with their lives and resources to bring the government to accountability, all you gotta say is rubbish the warriors championing the new dawn we seek for. As I talk before, e nor go better for you. For posterity's sake, does Trump compel the Secret Service to do against it's doctrines? Just so you know, after Biden has been declared winner and Trump refuses to leave, the same Secret Service will lock him out of the Whitehouse and detain him for treason and other offenses. The people of Nigeria have the rights to freedom of association and to protest. Wherever the money comes from, it's never the government's business, so far it's a peace protest

So in your own mind fighting for government accountability involves arson and general civil disobedience abi. It seems like you don't know the extent of damage that this so-called peaceful protest has cost.
do you know how many innocent people's lives will never be the same again because of the destruction to their business.

Thanks to the government paid agent Nnamdi kanu and his band of ignorant IPobians, the South became divided again, the protests became more about a non office holder tinubu and not who controls the army and police, southern business were burnt, but no cow or dangote(fulani industries) business was torched....the foolish yamlegs were more concerned about bringing tinubu down but forgot about the financier of all fulani governments.

When some judiciaries were harrased and embarrassed nobody said anything about it,

when probing was one sided set of the country supported,

if court grant somebody bail this same govt will not obey court order,

el-zaki's supporters were killed nobody said anything,

Then, come operation python dance, set of the country were rejoicing and masturbating, Young's guys were killed during that process

Now, youth came out to do a peaceful protest, in the course of exercising their civil rights, they were killed

Now is the time, one thing is certain which is every set of the country must taste their own abuse.

A govt that spent 4 years without showing anything, rather abuse of human rights is order of the day, what do u expect from such govt. Ndi ofe mmanu follow up Naija in this mess

Why don't you start with choosing the right governors to bring you guys out of your misery in your gully eroded region.

You must be a learner to be asking such a childish question. Do you even know how statehood works? No nation jokes with national security! Let me remind you of what I said earlier. If the protest had gone on without foreign donations, then freezing those accounts would have been antidemocratic. But so far as they received 'foreign' funds to subvert peace within the nation, Nigerian government will be a fool not to take stringent steps against such people. Try that shit in America if CIA will not take you out. Try the same shit in Russia or Israel or France.
You seriously need to study about national security.
National security laws are never explicit. When state is threatened by internal forces with the support of external backers, it reserves the right to invoke implicit national security laws.

Why did Trump have a turbulent time in office in America? Why was he impeached by the house of reps? His unusual ties with Russia, a foreign entity. So they saw him as a security risk to the nation. Now that he has lost, he is definitely going to answer serious questions.

My problem is how to school you to understand what national security entails.
