Bad move, in my opinion.
A remake, if at all, would be better than a sequel over 25 years later.

The loyalty of an average Nigerian wife depends on the financial state of her husband.

If a poor husband request for that, the wife will nag and end up insulting him.

But if a rich husband comes back late by 2:00am and request for that. The wife will bow 3 times before him, rush to the kitchen, prepare the rice immediately, serve him, bow 3 times again before him and say "Igweeeeeeeeeee!"

She will even be giving him bl0wjob as he's eating the food just to please him.

The irony of it all is that "rich husbands" are less demanding than "poor husbands".

Like the voice of Ayo Fayose, I can see you are in pain.
Even in deep pain. How I wish I can proffer solutions to your unrelieved pain and unmedicinal agony. But I'm sorry, I can't...

Today is Sunday, I will rather compliments you than response according to your comment.

I love your creative writing and your deep passion for what you truly believe In. .....also, so impressed about your interest in Nigeria politics and the state of our nation.

Please keep it up.

Happy Sunday to you.

Pain?
My aim was to address your folly which you mistook for logic.
I've done that and hope others who think like you, whether Igbo or Yoruba, would snap out of that idiocy.
Having a president or VP from your region would not alleviate your personal situation or that of your region specifically.

It's a Ganglion cyst.
Solutions-
1. Stop lifting heavy items, it will disappear over time. Eating some clay e.g. Nzu / Calabar, might speed up this process.

2. Surgery

I know you're....

Igbo lady. Flatt-headed group

Since GEJ has been unseat as the president of the country, your tribe has been chanting, marginalization! Marginalization!! Marginalization!!!

And here is another opportunity a fulani man has offered to your brother; (like a dangling carrots before the eater) to substitute your biafra agenda on the altar of VP position.

Your voice has suddenly change from chanting Marginalization to ATIKUlate.

Birthright taken for morsel of porridge...
What a shame!

If you are the archetypal Nigerian youth, then Nigeria is doomed for the next 60 yrs or however long it takes for your generation to be wiped out.
Nigerians should be looking outside of APC and PDP for a leader, instead you believe one must choose between these two; how sad.

Power of creative writing.
But come to think of it ..... My logic might not be too good. But I ask, How would a region be presently occupying no. 2 position, and you ask them to vote for you to occupy no 3 position. For me, it's a deceit of the highest order.

If you have been ATIKUlated, you will see your OBItuary.

There's zero logic in your comment.
SW does not "occupy no. 2 position" , an individual, just one, of South Western extraction does.
How has having a VP from your region benefitted you or the region? Are southwesterners insulated from poverty, illiteracy, insecurity, poor infrastructure and healthcare?
If I wasn't African, I'd be inclined to believe low IQ is the curse of the black man.

So the old testament is obsolete, right?

That it talks about monogamy doesn't imply prohibition of polygamy.
The old testament provides context.
A similar argument may be made for polyandry, as it is not explicitly condemned / prohibited anywhere in the bible.
One man + one woman was and is intended God's design for marriage, from the lips of Jesus Christ .

Tell that to the myriads of prophets in the bible who had more than a wife and even concubines. Besides, there's no where in the bible that explicitly states that "polygamy is prohibited" unlike adultery or stealing.

Mention one Christian prophet who had more than one wife.

I said same two years' ago. They should be more specific though. Besides, the procreation of lots of children is not necessarily a Northern Nigeria phenomenon.

Southerners include Yorubas which have Muslims amongst them and polygamy is allowed. The remaining are Christians, so where in the bible is polygamy prohibited?

Mark 10:
7 ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife , 8 and the two will become one flesh.’[c] So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

This may be your opinion.

But why is this sudden antagonistic posture to what Kanu stood for?
Something completely an aberration igbos about a year ago now looking more like the rule/norm.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, we won’t die.

Perhaps people are only now paying attention to dissenting opinions.
As I stated earlier, there have and will always be Igbos who are not interested in a split because Nigeria favours them; and there will be those who would prefer to split not matter what. There are also some who are pro-choice/ referendum and will accept the decision of the majority.

Don’t be deceived!!its all because of Obi on the Atiku ticket.
Where were all these people castigating Nnamdi Kanu all these years? In Mars?

They’ve all just realized that Kanu is a liability and not an asset to the Atiku/Obi ticket and the reason they want to shut him up temporarily.

I doubt that. People are disenchanted because he was safe the entire time while his followers died.
He mentioned his dog as one of the casualties of the attack on his home before his followers.
He has been demystified.
Igbos clamouring for Biafra have rejected him not the idea of an secession.
There will always be South Easterners for secession as there will always be those against.

Meanwhile, he're your daddy kneeling to Kanu.

Those are silly people who don't represent the entire Igbo group. Igbos do not kneel to greet. If there must be a gesture, men bow to greet the elderly and women courtesy.

ODVanguard:
Those comparing Osinbajo to Peter on eloquence must be stupid. They probably dont even understand the
the meaning of the term. Osinbajo is by far more eloquent. Is it not the same igbotic and feminine sounding Peter?? No sentiments pls.

While articulacy and eloquence are synonyms, they can be used in very different contexts. I haven't heard Osibanjo speak at length; however based on his profession, I would imagine that he is arguably the more articulate speaker in the context of fluency (style).
Obi, on the other hand, is arguably the more eloquent speaker in the context of persuasiveness (content).

Altruism is alien and "inane" to the typical Nigerian; hence the state of the country.

Nigerians are never passionate about a cause if doesnt benefit them personally and presently.
