I'm all for a conversation. That's why we're here. I only ask you to discuss with decorum. That is what mature people do. You can't possibly call me a joke. Where do you know me from?.

Look, we are all at liberty to disagree or agree, and my issue with Mr. Umahi is his unilateral way of attending to what is supposed to be Igbo corporate interest.

Mr. Umahi has been about becoming Nigeria's president from day one. Nothing wrong with it. In fact, the Southeast needs to take its rightful place in Nigeria. But one man should not allow himself to be used against his people. This is what Dave Umahi did, and this is the reason his people left him at fulani alter.

I dont know why Umahi should be bitter over the outcome of the Apc primaries and the decision of the eastern delegates.I can still remember vividly that while he was still in pdp that he was among the serving eastern govrnors that kick against Atiku selecting peter obi as his running mate.
Umahi is a very selfish, dubious man. This man has been sabotaging everything Igbo in cohort with his fulani handlers in the hope that he will be said to have been a good servant, and he thinks people of the southeast are so daft that he will pull a wool over their eyes.

Buahri Airport, Buhari Presidential Lodge, Buhari gutter, Buhari culvert. EWU!.

His brother supervised the killing of his own people by Fulani marauders, while he connived to set up useless Ebubeagu to protect these same killer fulanis. We knew his aspiration was dead before he even set foot in the eagle square.

First, like how much is the money, Since it's something he buys all the time,it means they're regular stuff we use often like foodstuffs or provisions or clothes or shoes,if it is,the money shouldn't be what can affect you adversely. Please give him time but keep reminding him.
Secondly, there are pastors and there are pastors. There are pastors who collect N30k like the winners story we heard, there are those who own the churches themselves.
If he's an appointed pastor, kindly give him time or just leave the money for him. But don't give you credit again.
If he owns the church, which I doubt,he collects tithes, offerings and other pledges. He has no excuse, make sure you send messages to him and bug him for your money till he pays. If he refuses or ignores you, leave it for him,God will replenish your pocket.
What exonerates this scammer pastor from the same responsibility the rest of us have towards our creditors to explain that we cannot meet one's fiducial obligation momentarily and gently ask for a grace period?

Why are some you such stubborn and myopic dunderheads, plus simpletons, who cannot accommodate opposite views in your head even if only for the sake of what is called process of elimination?

The guys is simply saying Obi cannot win and that, realisitically, only Tinubu or Atiku can.

Why not then try and approach both candidates to know their plans in the spirit of the idea that a polity that makes no demand of leaders gets nothing from them? Instead you are insulting OP ungraciously for his commonsensical take on the matter of 2023.

I remember shouting during #EndSARS for youths to take advantage of the mood then to march on the national assembly and make demands for transformational changes like State Policing, restructuring, true fiscal federalism etc.

Instead the singular and self-obstructive focus was on the abolishment of SARs that any wise man knows an unrepentant government can still introduce covertly under another name and in a different uniform.

Fundamental demands that can lead to fundamental changes were abandoned for egotistic pursuit. A golden olportunity was missed and Nigeria remains fcked currently.

In the end I musy ask why you people deal in absolutism and fundamentalism alone in Nigeria like bloody terrorists ? No flexibility or expansive forecasting in your thinking at all.

Facts is that even Buhari could have delivered more if Nigerians know how to engage him to do so instead of thinking a single individual can do it all.

The misguided and absolute hope being placed on the shoulders of Obi, as if he is a messiah, is patently delusional to begin with considering pragmatism tells us he will lose and lose woefully.

You can commit to voting Obi but it would not kill members of a wise electorate to engage Atiku and Tinubu, most likely to become President, to find out their plans for them.
No one is under any obligation to be hoodwinked by paid opinion manipulators, such as yourself and your many colleagues here in cyberspace. On what authority should you suggest who is electable, and who is worth anyone's consideration?. What's in it for you, if not your Garry and meat?.

PoliticsRe: To All Tinubu's Supporters by 00FFT00(m): 11:51am On Jun 12, 2022
helinues:
Well, I wrote this in support of Osinbajo before the Apc primary .

I believe it can still be useful for Tinubu and his supporters, afterall, Omo wa no ni

In other to secure good victory for BAT, I have some suggestions and opinions

1. We don't have enemies

The oppositions are not our enemies but just those who might not have been understanding our message or have entirely different opinions about 2023 race. They are not a threat, infact, they are still our brothers, sisters, uncles, father's, Mother's irrespective of religion or region. Engaging with them maturely is what can bring more people to our camp

2. It's time to give back to the community

Some Nigerians have the mentality/perception of giving back to the community only when they are elected into political positions or any form of power. That's wrong, a little contribution from individuals would really change things. In any capacity you can, it's time to give back to the community. Not necessarily have to be about money, if you are in position of helping others, if you have a contact someone has been looking for, share it and make the difference

3. There is no need of petty groups

Tinubu this group, Tinubu that group, Tinubu those group are just a means of enriching the opportunists most especially when it involved donations., Ko necessary.Don't waste your money all in the name of donations, don't waste your time all in the name of attending online/offline meetings. Infact, fake groups would definitely emerge to scam people. Give directly to those around you.

4. The oppositions are not that tough

Nigeria oppositions are not though but they can't be underestimated. Those who might be opposing Tinubu's presidency are mostly those who need to be enlightened. With constructive arguments/submissions, we could still win some of them to our camp

5. Don't make lies to support your arguments

Lying just to back who you are supporting is not necessary. consistency is really important in winning more people to our camp. You don't have to lie to support your arguments cos people would burst your lies and that's not good for our camp.

6. Don't make your support only online

Elections are not won online though winning people online is a plus, the real voters are in real life, extend your support to friends, families and colleagues. Tell them about BAT, spread the message of possible good things to happen to this country if he is elected.

Tinubu for 2023 president
#LagosBoy
I told you you're a pretty smart fellow. Unfortunately, you elected to deploy that gift in the wrong ways.

Ultra-lightweight Jonathan , in 2011, as the perfect case study example , even defeated two very popular Northerners in Buhari and Atiku when mobilisers and stakeholders in the North, serving their own permanent political interest, decided to work for him.

How can anyone then be making the silly argument the illiterate and hateful IPOBian OP is touting in relation to the very popular, well-liked, politically sagacious, iconically-followed and universally influential Tinubu who is arguably Africa's most well-know political leader?

Tinubu is not the mate of Atiku and I expect this election to reveal that reality glaringly.

Till election day, IPObians can continue to delude themselves . It is what losers do because losers fail to plan meaning they are inevitably planning to fail.
Oga leave grammar. Tinubu cannot win in the north.

What is clear is that Tinubu is not the northern establishment's candidate. This became clear during the primaries when the APC chairman sought to impose a fellow northerner on the ticket.

Do you really believe that Adamu would make that announcement without Buhari's nod?. If you answer in the affirmative, then I have a long bridge to sell to you, really.

Also think, there is a very formidable movement in Kano, the kwankwasiyya movement. Their sphere of influence also extends to neighboring states. These are hardcore Islamic adherents and are foes of Tinubu's northern lackey Ganduje. How do you think that pans out?.

If you are a Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar, in what relationship will you be looking to stand with Rabiu Kwankwaso?. Bear in mind that this is one man Tinubu or Atiku cannot purchase as they are wont to do. Two of them actually, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

I understand your passion for your candidate's self-acclaimed mandate, but the political realities do not favor him as it stands.

It is evident that Tinubu and Lagos APC orchestrated the mob attack on the People of southeast and South-south extracting who sort to register to vote a few days ago.

If you look at the graphic I included below, it becomes even clearer why Tinubu is jittery.
Votes from Southeast and its allied South-south states are at par or even surpass Northern ballots. Southwest is a non-starter here.

With massive registration drives in the Southeast and South-South, APC and even PDP know they are in real trouble. If we discount the big K's, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, and Borno, where are the much taunted Northern votes?

This is certainly not a good time to be Jagaban.

This election will be over before 12 pm and APC soundly defeated on election day if PDP/LP/NNPP amalgamates.

If Atiku can convince Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso to work with him, on a verifiable written agreement to do only one term, Obi becomes the vice president and Kwankwaso senate president. On his valediction after 4 years, Obi runs for president while Kwankwaso deputies him, and Shekarau takes the senate saddle, your next president is Atiku Abubakar.

But this is a tall order, a very tall one as it stands. What happened here that forecloses this possibility is the usual northern me-first attitude, a moderation of which Mr. Atiku now seeks, albeit dishonestly.

Atiku knows that the departure of Peter Obi under the circumstance it happened begets bellyache for his presidential ambition. He cannot be sure to win this election with Ahmed Tinubu on the APC ticket without further merging Mr. Obi's base behind him. And let's not forget the other elephant in the northern room, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

That said, this election is looking to be a real 4-way battle. And in that fight, Atiku and Kwankwaso will quickly carve up most northern votes. Only those who never lived up north will believe that the average northerner will vote for A Yoruba man, even if he is a Muslim, in an election where native northerners and Muslims are also on the ballot.

Tinubu's chances of winning this election have waned if one considers he will not do as well as he would wish in the north, where he vigorously invested his political capital regardless of the number of northern governors working for him.

The Kwankwaso/Shekarau and now the Atiku factor in the north effectively checkmate any windfall Tinubu will expect from this region, and that will put paid to his famous life ambition at long last, his choice of a VP notwithstanding.

Our people are now awake. They do not trust or really like both Tinubu and Atiku. Nigerians are well-informed regarding what these characters represented and still represent, and that is not the way forward for most people.

The real winner here is the Nigerian people and their new darling, Peter Gregory Obi. I see the desire of Nigerians of every ethnicity and religion to jettison the old order for a chance of a renaissance. They are tired of the politics of acrimony, ingrained corruption and dishonesty that has left them impoverished and in disunity, as a nation and economically.

Therefore, Mr. Obi, a very principled man cannot and will not, impugn the hopes and goodwill, of teeming Nigerians, both the aged and youths are increasingly heaping on him to agree to a selfish and dishonest call by tired politicians who have a real chance of losing this election to come to their rescue on the backs of the people.

Those who argue that Peter Obi does not have structures forget people are structures, and it is these people on whose mandate Mr. Obi now stands upon. It is these same Nigerians, who are now dipping their hands in their Buhari depleted pockets to say, we will fund this campaign, and will cough up the billions of Naira that will be required to get to the finish line.

This is the way it should be. Every aspect of what we are now witnessing has the coloration of a true revolution, and this is where we need to get as a people.

Are you Obi-dient yet?.

It is those with boundary issues always complaining about others.
Nigeria is a federal republic. That constitutional basis guarantees freedom of movement and domicile to every citizen irrespective of place of origin. A Yoruba man owns 2 rental houses in my village, he also lives there happily with his wives and children, and that is his good right.

Sons Of "Oduduwa"?
By
Fredrick Nwabufo

In other words, the Yoruba and the Igbo are indigenous to the geographical area called “Nigeria”.
And it has also been argued thatboth groups are of a singularancestry.

And the Supreme Being commissioned Oduduwa, a "sky-god", to carry out a terrestrial task; he descended from heaven with a cockerel which had sixfingers. And the earth was made by himthrough the ingenious deployment of his
avian subject. But that was after‘Atewonro’ had sprinkled some dirt on the ocean to found Ile-Ife. And he had wives, and sons who founded other kingdoms. So the mythic origin of theYoruba says.
In Igbo mythic origin, the Supreme Being sent Eri down to earth to establish balance and social order. The "sky-god" founded Nri, and he had wives, and sons who founded other Igbo towns and communities.
The Yoruba and the Igbo share a lot more than similar mythic origins. They are the oldest inhabitants of the areas they live in.
In other words, the Yoruba and the Igbo are indigenous to the geographical area called “Nigeria”. And it has also been
argued that both groups are of a singular ancestry.
The two groups have had established trade-links dating to the period before contact with the first Europeans. And they are known to share passion for industry; are convivial, accommodating and peace loving.
Also, there is no documented history of war between the Igbo and the Yoruba despite occupying the same "southern
hemisphere".In the precolonial times, wars among kingdoms and natives were common, but there appears to be no recorded incident of battle between the clans and kingdoms of the two groups. In language, they are both of the Kwa-group Niger-Congo origin. The similarities between the Yoruba and the Igbo language are remarkable, if not uncanny, which point to an identical fount.
Despite having so much in common, politics has been a pesky point of dissonance for both groups. Though the Igbo and the Yoruba do not have a romantic political history; they have keptthe dagger away from their rivalry.
The outcome of the Western Region elections of 1951, in which Nnamdi Azikiwe claimed he was sabotaged by Obafemi Awolowo, perhaps laid the molten magma of political rivalry between the two groups.
Some associates of Azikiwe alleged thatAwolowo, leader of the Action Group, bought over members of the NCNC, after they had won elections on the platform of the party in the western region, to scuttle Zik’s plan of being the leader of theregional assembly.
They also claimed that Awolowo scuttled Zik’s “one-Nigeria” agenda, and introduced tribal politics.
However, there is no proof to substantiatethese claims. In fact, the allegation regarding Awolowo’s sabotage of Zik wasdisproved by the colonial government at the time.
So, over the years, stories have been revised and passed down to generationswho do not probe the information but hold it as a grudge against the other.
Most young people trading hate on social media cannot actually say their grievance against those they are tugging with, except to echo the refrain of revised stories handed down to them and to act on stereotypes they have been socialised by.
But can the Igbo and the Yoruba ever unite? Yes, they can. And they will. There will come a time when there is no option, but for them to hold each other in a warm
embrace as "descendants of sky-gods."

There will come that time.
