fhranchez:lolz..a penalized domain weda redirected or not is never SEO friendly.. Its a wasted investment for a business that particularly bought it to redirect it to their website for SEO sakes. A penalised domain will come so low to in SEO rankings such dat its Google search is of little or no use to improving the web presence of such business. When u search for limo services in Tampa.. the website example comin close to an exact keyword match should bring up d website as one of highest ranked search results UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES Once clicked..will redirect to the actual website of the business. But for a penalized domain, it's not so.. As for the emboldened, u are correct, esp. the one in bracket fhranchez:this is a very weak assertion borne out of a wild conjecture. You seem to underestimate the power of Google search pointers in making a business grow stronger from customer awareness via the web. |
2sexycom:exactly my point..this is why i expected the amateurs who are weighing in on geo-domains for startup sales to not take this SEO issue lightly as regards the google Penalty issue. Not every newbie can afford the luxury of patience, that might eventually be linked to the aforesaid. I see no crime in looking out for pointers that might delay sales. |
AYORICH:plz do. Tranxo intimated the house on sumtin good, instead make we commend am and use it to sharpen our experience, we dey see am as devil. |
golamike:a penalized domain doesn't deserve that adjective . A good domain goes beyond the name. The fact that u sold a domain under 2days is not always an indication of its quality. U got an end-user who needed it asap. but how long can u go with HitnRun approach and refuse to aknowledge possible red flags. There is a reason ppl are more successful in some tinz than we are. it's not always a matter of luck or destiny story. |
Promxy94:Leave all this Nigerian Mentality approach to business and deal with reality. for some1 to pay a handy sum for your domain as much as 500+, they could av done their due diligence on this. so if u find out a seemingly good name bcums so difficult to sell, these are pointers a logical domainer can figure out as a good reason; rather than complain of village ppl or not-enough outbounding a domain that will sell, will sell is simply a uneducated approach to business, u can as well drink anointing oil to make sumtin sell, knowing fully well it's bad market for a prospective buyer. sure, it can sell; but not every customer is ignorant or stupid. u cant just market rotten tomatoes and tell urself, tomato dat will sell, will sell Positive results in every endeavour is a determinant of every concerned factor which shouldn't be left to serendipity, by overlooking redflags. How far can we go with such primitive mentality and approach to business.? it's ideas like this that make pastors collect moni to pray for u to cure headache that panadol can handle; saying it;s village ppl most domainers on here invest heavily in keyword rich domains, which is seriously affected by a google penalty. This kinda tinz can affect sales potential of domains when faced with elightened enduser(s) maybe we need to google-up d effects of a penalty on domains to see my perspective. https://blog.rankwatch.com/how-to-tell-if-your-website-is-penalized-by-google/ |
tranxo:i discovered 3domains i bought last week are all penalized, money wasted. i'll still outbound without a BIN nonetheless. Customer fit dull am. A friend of mine i introduced into domaining eventually landed himself with a penalized domain as his 1st purchase. Big discouragement Google penalty is not an unsolvable problem tho, just small stress involved |

etin06:i fink that is the best chance one has to escape their radar. the few guys i know who av had a smooth sail like u were using old accts. while d odas av their 6,7,8yr old accts pulled down like d new ones. too bad for me that i av only one old acct. cant take that much risk widit |
etin06:there are ppl who send 100, nothing special. just enjoy bro....i envy u and other unaffected ones.. BTW, izzit your regular acct or the one u created for the domain biz? |
etin06:lolz...just send 2msgs, next day ur acct is blocked... create another, dont even do anything, it's blocked even if u use old accts...same. just take a moment with google to get d gist. if your acct no enter their zone, dont feel so smart, it happens to some accts dat are free of this madness for reasons ppl are probably yet to decipher. |
etin06:not with fb blocking accts on impulse |
izzit really logical outbounding to well established companies? i fink they tend not to need/want whatever online presence a proposed domain name has to offer. |
Callmeibironke:are u getting signicant number of visits to your sales pages? |
Callmeibironke:lemme give u a tip if u re desperate to sell to fuel your buying addiction. outbound all the domain u bought today, remove the BIN, let the interested be the ones to make the offer. Goodluck |
Callmeibironke:stop buying on impulse, not healthy for business, it's cheap but that shudnt be a disadvantage to u as it seems alredi |
virtuedagirl:369/USD |
crudedude:10mins is not stress when u are saving over $4 per purchase. u wont be saying this tho, if netsol never worked for u. I know that feeling |

FESTAC101:different paypal, new card. i fink it's selective with accts, it's all a matter of switching accts. |
Promxy94:wow....may sales fall on u by his grace. that can get me many domains as per netsol backyard. |
Callmeibironke:how many in your portfolio now? |
Promxy94:paypal things, used another paypal acct. |
Callmeibironke:mehn...i eventually figured a way around the netsol ish and bought a domain now but it's missing in my domain list, yet the whois shows my details. ![]() |
