ollybode: Appraisal are not scam, you don't pay more attention to their estimated value. Like estibot recognised keywords popularity and short character, is never friendly to brandable. Godaddy pay more attention to historical and similar sales. This tools sometimes give a glimpse of hope on the value of domain but one should not rely totally on them.
Dommain's worth is what the buyer/ end-users pay to get it and this is subjective. Main while I thank God for his mercy. Two sales just rolled in now:
incalandscape.com Sales venue: undeveloped Purchase price:$6.99 Bin:$250 Sold:$200 Hold time:24hrs Outbound
Annapolisarchitects.com Sales venue: undeveloped Purchase price: $1 netsol Sold: $399 bin Hold time : 3weeks Outbound for a city with less than 40K population, Grace rested on u... somtimes it's not always about the pool of end-users. One can sell a domain in a short time with very few end users |

tranxo: I think city is better. Most of these geo companies hardly operate statewide (there may be few niches exceptions where state level or country level geos may be good too).
But we have been advised to always check the quantity of endorsers before registering . so I believe the number of endorsers will determine if city or state for a particular keyword will be saleable. yea..I fink it depends on the service involved. Some services go state-wide whilst others are city-wide.. All a matter of common sense and some lil research. |

tranxo: Wow! I envy you. Many of us didn't start this good. You truly grasped the concept. The benefit of reading from PAGE 1 till END. Nothing beats that.
A little tip. Try and choose cities with population 100k and above. I am not saying you can't sell a city with 10k population, but the higher the population, the more the end users, and the higher the chances of selling.
I envy your beginning. izzit advisable to use state too? Or the catchment area will be too big? |

Promxy94: The business is small small, I started making sales after one year, and some months, after I learnt the business, let my first set of domains expire. I found the business difficult, but last year April I decided to start again, and was determined to make it, even how small, started registering names again, which more than 30℅ are rubbish. THANKGOD To Netsol $1 promo. I registered domains in different directions, geo domains, vr domains , crypto domains, cannabis domains.spannish names, and Indian names.
I registered more than 50 names without making my ist sale, but u wasn't determined to quit, I was rather determined to succeed in it, and was still registering good names. When my breakthrough came this year, I knew GOD Has opened my doors for it. I Believe The hand of GOD will make me make more sales, and heavy one's AMEN.
I repeat most people you see making frequent and constant sales, if they tell you how many domains they hold in there portfolio, you will marvel.
You can have just one domain and make a heavy sale, but Peter might have 20 and havent made sales, it's just all about GOD, determination, right price and luck.
I will advice people should read namepros.com more, because there you will learn domaining more.
And if possible meet Sir Iykepromotions for detailed tutorial, he tutored me personally. And he is still helping me even after 2years when ever i ask for his help.
Thanks
MY GOD LIVES 1st sale this year since u joined over a year ago...hmmn..quite a determined person u are. |

Been giving this some thoughts recently, Would like the opinions of some of us in here.
Can a location size be too much for a chosen geo-domain?
For example:
lagossports/com & Nigeriasports/com
The end users of the latter involves the whole country, hence so many end users who may not be so much interested coz it covers too much of the geographical location...unlike that of Lagos which will most likely interest Lagos end users.
From experience, Does sumtin like this affect Sales potential of a geo-domain or it matters not?

Promxy94: The business isn't this way bro.... I was a bit devastated when I started, but I knew the names I registered wasn't what end users want actually, And overpriceing of my domains also denied me some says. Even missed a sale of $200 last week.(But I believe it will come back).
I continued registration of domains even when I haven't made a sale. And I knew I had to read more to know exactly what end users want in geo domains. let me tell you, most people you see reporting sales here have an over 100portfolio of domain names, some 1000portfolio. You can have a portfolio of 10domains or 20domains and expect to report sales every week.
Keep trying to sale your little portfolio, read more via Google and name pros, register good names, when you come across them. Sell for reasonable prices even if it's ($50) I made such sale last week for a domain name that is close to 20 characters with just one end user. I sold it to him because I saw even on $100 he wasn't willing to buy and was comfortable with his dot net extension, he sticked to $50. And guess what, had to sell to him. Because I got the domain for $1.
So bro above all put GOD First.... Am not an expert But Believe me When I say MY GOD LIVES.... someone who is ready to buy will definitely make an offer, it's not always about lowering the BIN. When a buyer is ready, he/she will propose sumtin, no matter how ridiculous |

Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by 0ubenji(m): 10:19am On Jan 20, 2019 |
ollybode: To answer your question,I used to go about it in two ways. Firstly, I will get a screen shot of my conversation with a potential buyer, most especially if I have counter the offer of the buyer and I didn't receive any response from him. I will now email undeveloped to help me close the sale, given detail of the buyer and how much he offers and how much I intend selling. Undeveloped will pick it up from there and they might close the sale for you. [I got this nugget from Haykay2005 here on this thread and I have sold through it]
Another step you have to take is to go to undeveloped dashboard, navigate to sales activities, click on a lead,a drop menu that contains the domain name, name of the potential buyer, email address, phone no, and amount you intend to sell. Fill all these info accordingly. Then bellow it click negotion, or if you have closed the sales yourself click something like agreement or settled"not too sure of the English they use sha" then submit. Undeveloped will do the rest and if you eventually sell through this undeveloped will deduct 5% commission.
I hope this help can i do this for negotiations made via email, coz i already countered the offer of the buyer but he kept mute since then |
