Nairaland GeneralRe: What Do You Think About Life by 1000Capacity(op): 8:26am On May 14, 2024
The question of whether life is real is a complex and philosophical one, with various perspectives and interpretations.

1. Physicalism: From a scientific viewpoint, life is considered real in the sense that it is a natural phenomenon governed by physical laws and processes.
2. Materialism: Life is seen as a product of matter and energy, with no inherent meaning or purpose beyond its physical existence.
3. Idealism: Life is viewed as a manifestation of mind or consciousness, with reality being fundamentally mental or spiritual.
4. Solipsism: The extreme idea that only one's own mind is sure to exist, and everything else, including other people and the external world, might be mere illusions.
5. Social constructivism: Life is seen as a social construct, shaped by cultural, historical, and linguistic contexts.
6. Simulation hypothesis: The idea that life might be a simulation or virtual reality created by a more advanced civilization.
7. Spiritual or religious beliefs: Many people believe in a higher power or divine force that created and sustains life, often with a sense of purpose or destiny.
8. Existentialism: Life is considered real, but its meaning and purpose are not predetermined, and individuals must create their own meaning and value.
9. Pragmatism: Life is viewed as a practical and experiential reality, focused on the here and now, rather than abstract concepts or metaphysical questions.

Ultimately, whether life is "real" depends on one's definition of reality and their personal beliefs and experiences.
Nairaland GeneralWhat Do You Think About Life by 1000Capacity(op):
Life! It's a complex, beautiful, and mysterious journey, full of ups and downs, twists and turns. Here's a summary of what I think about life:

Life is:

1. Precious: A rare and valuable gift, full of potential and possibilities.
2. Dynamic: Constantly changing, evolving, and adapting.
3. Interconnected: Every person, experience, and moment is linked and influences others.
4. Multifaceted: Full of contradictions, paradoxes, and mysteries.
5. Beautiful: With moments of joy, love, and wonder.
6. Challenging: With struggles, hardships, and uncertainties.
7. Short: A brief, fleeting moment in the grand tapestry of time.
8. Unique: Each person's experience is distinct, with their own story and path.
9. Full of growth: Opportunities for learning, self-improvement, and progress.
10. Worth living: With purpose, meaning, and significance, despite its complexities and challenges.

Remember, life is a journey, not a destination. Embrace its beauty, complexities, and uncertainties, and make the most of this precious gift!

That's not a bad idea. Life is just a game in a game. When a cast die in games, they have to restart and come back stronger. The only difference here is, this is reality.

it was federal SARS at ikeja. They took him there 2014. I sent an officer to help check and he said he's no longer there. He said he has been transferred. Then i asked him how can i get to know where he is presently and the officer said it's a process. He said I'd spend money starting from federal SARS ikeja till when i get to where he is. The officer collected money from me before he could help me confirm if he's still there. If i had gone there myself I'd spend more. I can't drop his name in a public space. The incident was on newspaper then.

Sorry for you experience. It's obvious Nigerians are being targeted. So you see it's not about the tribe anyone belongs to, every one carrying a Nigerian passport isn't seen based on tribal affiliation.
Sorry for your experience. You can mention it to the Nigerians in Diaspora group to take it up.

“Find a money making opportunity that suits you, your environment, present condition and can scale. Once you find one, go all in”

If you’re looking for a money making opportunity that can grow fast…

I have created a short guide that shows how many young Nigerians are using forex signals to collect up to seventy-five dollars every week. e

This is the story of my life, and I had to create a new account cus my other account is a bit popular here. I'm 25, will be 26 next month, but I feel I won't live to see my 26th birthday because of how suicidal I've been lately...and here's why
Nothing is picture perfect in life. You have to keep living and smilie about everything life throws at you.
Write off the ideas about sucide, it's not just worth it. I feel like when coming to the world, we were given the option to chose easy/medium /hard. Perhaps some people chose hard because they want to experience life better than they had initially.

My point is nothing is picture perfect. You have your expectations but life works differently. It doesn't work like 1 + 1=2
You have to kill Ego and just not giveAFuck

Rule numbers 1. Don't giveAfuck about what people say. Just live and plan gradually. Might even take 10 years to get it right.
