You should clear, drive a bit & rescan.

Or better yet, check the compatibility of the solenoid with the software version on the ecu..it's easy to do, it's on the app

P.s, There are two types of solenoid for theAL4
the old solenoid has a white top
The new has black top( latest).

Okay.
What is on the transmission now is the one with black top, and I am sure it is compatible with the ECU, the reason being that, before the last scanning it was the white top solenoid that was on the transmission and error codes pointed solenoid problem which we changed and put on the black top which is currently on the transmission and that particular problem is gone since then.
I will proceed and do as u advice (clear the error codes, drive a bit and rescan again). I will get back with the results ASAP. Thanks alot Sir

But what's the issue with the automatic?
I have already paid for it. Its a 9ja used with new Belgium engine and gear.

Please what are the things to watch out for in Peugeot 307sw?
This is my first car I want to use

How is that possible to switch from automatic to manual on a single car? Do you mean you changed the gear box?

Peugeot is one of the most durable cars ever if not the most durable. We have a 307 that has being running well for over a decade now. The interesting is, na normal heavy mineral engine oil and Abro transmission oil e dey drink for the PAS.

But, service regularly, get a personal scanner. when you run into problem, scan, get the code, browse what it means( most fault you can fix by urself) if you can't, tell mechanic wetin he go fix.

Don't make the mistake of changing engine or transmission when you only need like 2k to fix things grin

By the way it's an Automatic grin grin grin , came with service history & all
I'm getting the 307sw automatic too, please put me through what to look out for

Good evening all especially king IK the orator of the group, I just got a 406 Nigerian used with about 120k mileage, black factory leather seats and clean dashboard with no error light on, one among the ones shared to federal government directors some years back, he said its Nigeria assembled at N1.3m

The car seem well maintained though the body was repainted same original colour (black).

I noticed the radio off any time I hit a big gallop. Please what can I do to stop that?

Please welcome me to the lion gang and what are the things I need to do on regular to keep her flying?

Thanks to everyone here.

Do an actuator tests for d dash board instrument using PP2000, it would automatically move all the needles to check for errors, it would also move the fuel gauge, if it fails check d connection under d back seat & fuse

Do you mean if the fuel gauge doesn’t move or if the entire dashboard doesn’t move.

This is helpful. Thanks... I’m a novice in tech stuff. I’ll tell a car electrician about it. I’d love anyone to share the contact info of any sound lion electrician in Benin

Good evening everyone

I'm looking to get a Peugeot 406 but my issue is i don't know how to drive stick shift and i don't even want to drive manual because is stressfull for me, i would really like an automatic transmission but people scare me alot when they say there Automatic transmissions are not really well built.how true is that?.

Can you recommend which Automatic model to get for a person who just want to enjoy the car and not abuse it and can easily be maintained.

Can I get clean one with low mileage if i decide to get one from Cotonou?

And if you have any extra information you can share with me about the Automatic i will really appreciate it.

If you are buying foreign used and stick to routine maintenance with the right fluid you will not have issue with transmission.
