PoliticsRe: Government Not Different From Boko Haram – Bishop Kukah by 10mobile: 6:56pm On Jan 08, 2020
saaron:
Boko haram is a northern islamic tool for Islamization of Nigeria and also development of the north via infrastructure.
In short, Northern islamist and fundamentalist are using boko haram to gather Nigeria's meager resources to the north.
You will be amazed at the huge amount of monies thrown in north east in the name of fighting boko haram. Only a tiny fraction goes to fighting terrorism, the rest are hijacked and shared to northern politicians to empower northerns. In essence, northern islamist are using boko haram to channel huge monies to the north at the expence of the south where 90% of the monies come from.
These northern islamist are very devilish. They used people's blood to set up a thriving enterprise through boko haram. It's for this reason that Bornu state, a state we are made to believe is ravaged by boko haram had the highest number of gubernatorial candidiates. Why so many people want to become gov of a so call boko haram ridden state? The answer is simple, There's money in the state thanks to Boko haram.
Take it from me, all supporters, patrons and sponsors of boko haram will pay for every soul slained by boko haram and fulani terrorist.
You have revealed too much here.
CelebritiesSee Bill Gate's Photo In 1984 And What I Learned From It by 10mobile(op):
Bill Gates was born in 1955 and the picture you see here is of him and Late Paul Allen in 1984. The two of them had started Microsoft in 1975. Simple arithmetic tells me that Gates was just 20 then. As for Paul Allen, he was born in 1953, two years earlier than Gates. But, in this picture, Allen looks much older - almost like 20 years older if I'm not mistaken.

Bill was younger, looked far younger but he clearly assumed a position of leadership over Allen.

Allen died in October 2018 while Bill Gates seems to be starting life now. He has even become a blogger.

After reflecting on the lives of these two successful Americans, I have learned a lot of lessons about lifestyle and genuine success. So, I am using this opportunity to share my lessons with fellow Nigerian youths because I see that it will help us in both life and career. I am sharing the lessons with you also in order to stamp them deeper into my own subconscious. You, decide what you will do with them.

To make the lessons effective, I will be taking my time off work to share them little by little on this space over the course of a month or so. So, anyone who is interested can subscribe to this post. I believe that, as we discuss these lessons, we will gain profound inspirations that will fire us up both individually and as a people. I see the future and it is VERY bright. Thank you.

LESSON ONE: DON'T LOOK DOWN ON YOUR PASSION/IDEA
Welcome back great African soul! I am talking to YOU as an individual. I have not addressed you this way in order to flatter you (I don't have time for flattery). Instead, I have addressed you this way because that's who you ACTUALLY are. How do I mean? To answer this question, let me start by confessing my 'sin'. Do you know why I did not start sharing these lessons from the beginning? This is the reason: I wanted it shared with only those FEW who value idea because, as Jesus said, "do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." (Matthew 7:6) (DISCLAIMER: I am not a pastor and I am not religious though, but I know and love God who is the Truth. That's by the way).

The reason those dogs will fight you (rather than appreciate you) is that they do not know the value of sacred things and precious jewelry. Thus, they think you mean evil when you give them such a value. So, for YOU to know the value of knowledge enough to subscribe to this post, believe it or not, YOU are a GREAT SOUL waiting to manifest. And, without a single doubt, I know that what I share from now will help you manifest far faster than you ever thought possible from this 2020. But, you must be ready to READ thoroughly and to the END of each lesson. Readers are leaders as they say. Instead of you to waste your precious time in empty chatters that drag down your IQ level on Nairaland, why not invest it in this discussion that will SURELY transform your fortune beyond imagination from THIS VERY YEAR?

My fellow Africans, I tell you our major problem, the reason we are remaining slaves to the rest of the world from century to century: It is because the average African does not appreciate the value of idea just because idea is invisible and looks quite commonplace. Yet, all history proves that saying that "idea rules the world". So, Africa is not ruling the world all because Africa does not value knowledge and idea enough. "My people (Africans) perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). Africa will move forward only when enough of individual Africans begin to appreciate knowledge and idea enough. Well, this cannot really happen until you value YOUR OWN ideas enough. And what can we learn from Paul Allen and Bill Gates in this regard?

Let's go back to how Microsoft started. Conventional history tells us that Microsoft was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. That's true when referring to the formal rolling out of the company. But, the real birthplace of the company is Lakeside High School in Seattle, Washington DC, where both Gates and Allen attended. Allen was 10 and Gates 8 when the BASIC programming language was first written at Dartmouth College in 1963. It was still a very new IDEA then. But Bill Gates, reading news about the future possibilities of BASIC in the magazines his dad bought, became very interested in the idea.

So, little Gates began to read more and more that he could lay his hands on on the topic of BASIC (Lesson: You can never LEAD if you are lazy to READ). Everyone probably thought little Bill Gates was being childish. But he kept going. Eventually, he was 13 and still in preparatory school when he wrote his first BASIC program. That was 5 years after the very first BASIC program was written at Dartmouth College. How did this happen? The Mothers' Club of his schools PTA just donated a printer for the school (which was very rare then). They also paid for the printer to be connected to a computer owned by General Electric (it was known as buying computer time because only big corporations owned computers then). So, little Bill Gates offered to be allowed to program the GE system in BASIC which was still a new idea. The school allowed him. He was even excused from math classes to enable him do that. He eventually used BASIC to write a game for his fellow students at Lakeside Preparatory School and this made him very famous in the school.

The computing fire Gates caught by reading his dad's magazine kept burning and increasing to the point that, when he eventually enrolled into the high school section of Lakeside, everyone identified him as 'the computing kid'. Although Paul Allen was Gates' senior, he liked him for that (while many people kept hating on Gates for 'showing off'). So, Allen befriended Gates. He was beginning to catch Gates' vision. He could do that also because he valued idea. No wonder Allen's 2011 memoir where he told some of these stories was entitled Idea Man: A Memoir By The Cofounder of Microsoft.

So, I tell you my fellow African, I mean YOU, what is your overwhelming passion? What ideas occur to you about how to make the life of your community or humanity better? Do not look down on it. Instead, realize that it is your tool to lead the pack. Realize also that the idea worth billions of dollars as that 'flimsy' idea back then in Gates' 10-year-old mind is the reason he is worth $109 billion today. But, far more important than money in his bank, it is the reason computers eventually became available to millions of ordinary people like you and me. That little idea has transformed a generation and keeps doing that.

TASKS FOR YOU
This is not 'my' post. It is 'our' post. So, let us try to make it as interactive as possible. Therefore, here are tasks I propose to help us stamp this lesson deeper down.
1. Look up the phrase 'imposter syndrome' on Google. It has something to do with this lesson at downright INDIVIDUAL level. Please, kindly share with us how imposter syndrome may have affected you in life?

2. What more inspiration can you add to this lesson?

3. Please, if you support, click here to help stop Microsoft from the proposed end of life (EOL) for Windows 7 scheduled for January 14, 2020. It is a page for those who prefer Windows 7 to Windows 10. It shows clearly why Windows 7 should not be phased out yet and how YOU could help to extend the life of our darling Windows 7. Thank you.

Foreign Affairs#iran2iran Hashtag Trends On Twitter - See Why (PHOTO) by 10mobile(op): 1:57pm On Jan 07, 2020
A new RhymeSpeak poem that exposed the technical dependency of Iran is trending now on Twitter. The piece entitled I RAN TO IRAN reveals how Iran depends on Israel and USA for their technical ability and yet they are flexing military muscle at them.

However, pro-Iran voices believe the country will turn to America's rivals such as Russia and China. What do you think? Do you think Iran has any chance in case WWIII breaks out?

Although everybody knows that Nigeria is not where she should be but I have never thought things are so serious until I read this speech by the blogger known as W.F. PoliticsWhat An Israeli Who Lived In Plateau State For 5 Years Said About Nigeria by 10mobile(op): 5:49pm On Nov 16, 2019
The Israeli agronomist named Ian Kedem was responding to a question on Quora that said "Why is Nigeria such a terrible country?" Reading his response, you can see him trying not to hurt our feeling. Yet, he ended up hitting the nail on the head and - as if we are the nail - it hurts. For me, however, what hurts most is that, his remarks may still go on deaf ears. See what he said:

I'm an Israeli that lived in Nigeria for 5 years working on an agricultural project in Plateau State.

Nigeria is no better or no worse than any other country in the world. Every country has it's advantages and dis-advantages.

The leadership is the biggest Nigerian problem with rife corruption and lack of basic humanity.

The Nigerian people are suffering from a lack of leadership and too much religious dogma.

One of the main problems with Nigerians is that they are too tolerant of their politicians. No strikes or protest marches for justice. They have come to terms with the fact that they have to bribe a government official, customs officer, police officer, immigration officer just to progress in life.

I am refering to the bold lines my people. What do you think about what he said?

I have a product for the international market, but I don't have the time to get a quality website for it before deployment because it's a seasonal course. I don't also want to use PayPal on a foreign market place because, you know why? I will incur a lot of charges: first with the marketplace, then with PayPal and then, with the local exchanger.

So, if you have used any of the above mentioned fintech platforms, kindly recommend based on the needs I have. Which of them is the best for selling a digital product directly and safely and receiving payments globally?

Thank you in anticipation.

CrimeSee What Happened To Me Yesterday When I Tried To Eat Beef (cow Meat) In Nigeria by 10mobile(op): 12:07pm On Aug 16, 2019
I must start by confessing I behaved foolishly yesterday. But before I go ahead, here is the background to my story: Since photos and videos of Nigerian herders doing very abominable things with cows surfaced online, I have hated eating cow meat (beef) with a deep passion. What made it worse was the explanation by FFK that those abominable acts were ritualism which the herders use to possess the cows with demons which in turn would possess those who eat the meat. He said it is the reason the Fulani themselves do not eat beef. Then, he said that the demon they project into the cows repossess those who eat their meat, and he says one of the effects of this demon-possession is that no matter what the herder tribe does, Nigerians feel helpless. To use his word, he said that the demons make Nigerians docile in the hands of the herder tribe.

In as much as I tried not to believe in the implied superstition of what FFK said, I saw some express truth in his analysis. "Why are Nigerians so docile in the hands of the herder tribe and very recalcitrant with other people?" I asked. For example, the herder tribe was still sacking the Tivs from their homes en masse in 2015 when the Tivs voted a member of the herder tribe en masse to become their president. See how people all support the proscription of IPOB but so weak in condemning herdsmen's killing spree even online! (just watch the speed with which the mods will ban this post even when I have mentioned no tribe by name, for example). These things came to my mind when FFK talked of the ritual sexual acts with cows as a means of projecting docility demons into those who consume the meat.

Now, here is my story: Since seeing those abominable photos and reading FFK's write-up, I have naturally hated to eat beef with a very deep passion. But yesterday, I had a reason to eat at a restaurant. I most WEAKLY allowed the woman to serve me rice with beef in it when she said she didn't have fish. I took the meal home in a take-away pack. But when I got home and tried to eat the meat, I started remembering those pictures I saw of herders having sex with cows. Then, I remembered FFK's words. Then, again, I realized the high possibility that the meat I was about to eat may have come from a female cow that a herder had had sex with.

With this, the meat started appearing to me like human meat. But, I was still feeling that I have to eat it since I had used my money to buy it - to avoid wasting the money. Then, something happened. I realized how many real HUMAN BEINGS that had been killed because of the cow whose meat I was about to eat, and the meat really looked like human meat to me. So, I had no option than to throw it away. And by throwing it away, I have conquered every weakness that relates to eating meat. As I am talking to you, I can swear an oath that I will never ever eat beef in Nigeria until it stops being the exclusive reserve of these killers and bestiality committers.

May be my story is not as spectacular as you had expected. But, why I have told it is so that those whom the docility demons are still holding captive as I was, should see reasons to break away from their evil stranglehold. Let us stop eating the flesh for which reason our people are being killed. It is like eating the flesh of our people. At least, let it be our most powerful way to send the message to the killers and the International community that we are truly against these killings. Otherwise, we are all killers with the killers - just by patronizing them and giving them reasons to keep killing us and depleting/deleting us gradually.

PoliticsSOWORE: My Apologies To All Freedom-minded Yorubas by 10mobile(op): 1:06pm On Aug 07, 2019
I have listened to several comments being made to deride Omoyele Sowore by certain people who appear to be my fellow Igbos. Today, I spoke so strongly against those anti-Sowore comments on an Igbo dominated Facebook group thinking that I would be attacked massively, only to have scores of people liking the comment. It makes me realize that just a few bad eggs are trying to spoil the show for us as a people.

Tell me, how reasonable are you as an Igbo when you criticize Yorubas for being cowards when some of the most courageous souls we have seen in this country (such as Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Gani Fawehinmi, Wole Soyinka, Femi Fani Kayode, Ayo Fayose, etc) are of Yoruba extraction? So, my dear Yoruba brothers, the above experience I had on Facebook proves to me that many of us Igbos stand with all freedom-fighters of Yoruba extraction and indeed all freedom-minded people everywhere.

The truth is that there are bad eggs everywhere and their evil odour often dominates the presence of the good eggs (it is natural). So, I address both my Igbo and Yoruba brothers, please, stop taking the bad eggs from the other tribes as the sample. Another truth is that the top level of excellence in education, academics, arts, sciences, valour, and achievements generally are occupied by these two tribes. Let us appreciate what we have in common instead of emphasizing the opposites. Let us fight the cause before us together rather than let our adversaries divide and defeat us. Even history proves that we are brothers. (Aside: 'Rock' is 'okuta' in Yoruba, and 'okwute' in Igbo and there are other linguistic proofs of our common heritage)

Please, members of other tribes should kindly not misunderstood me. I am not trying to deny your great achievements here. Rather, I am using this opportunity to address the obvious strained relationship between the good and great people of Igbo and Yoruba Lands.
