Do you have a list of those speculating and hoarding dollars? There is just no sufficient fund in the system to meet FX obligations for now. Inflow of Dollar from Oil revenue has gone down.

Trust me. Am totally in agreement with you. All am saying is that we are one step in the right direction. That's all.

Thanks Mcy,
i see your point. It's now a moving target with their share prices looking up.
I guess its safer to sit and observe this week. I may have missed these buses already. grin .

Mcy56:

You asked Mcy a difficult question here, it's always good to ask this type of question when market is down or trading 'flat'.......not when prices are going up.
My ogas will be in best position to answer this.
Actually, it depends on your investment objective, goal and horizon (horizon is OGG copyright).
The trio are great coys no doubt.........
Ucap moved from 2 to 3 already, may be heading towards 3.50, it may decide to drink water at 3/3.10.
Afriprud still traded at 4.10 last week, a good entry point, we don't know what Mr. Market may decide....either up or go back to pick more passengers.
UBA......

17 months ago Total Nigeria Plc was selling for N190, today its N77 and still falling.

I pity long term investors in NSE.

...I've been going through some researches on FA & I really wonder why many people that invest based on FA on this forum are investing based on fundamentals. Most of the these companies (on NSE) do not worth investing for long term based on FA. Most companies financial report shows good revenue/sales; nice net income, some managed to pay dividend and squandered the remaining profits. No Free Cash, Management acumen/performances are zero. Only price is moving, which invariably means short term investing/trading is what will make money on NSE.

We KNEW where this MERRY-GO-ROUND BUS was HEADING to and alerted BARGAIN HUNTERS to alight on time when it was still traded at circa N8--N9.

For those that missed the last JOLLY RIDE our next POINT of ENTRY is circa N3

BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE or GET BURNT!

*ThE OcToPuS*

UACN now at N5.95
50% DISCOUNT from this POINT then we are GOOD to GO.

PATIENCE is KEY

UBA never waka far nah. I blvd news of interim div, if there's going to be any, will help UBA's ministry.
Also, Access, GTB are both looking up, picking some units of UBA at currentprice may not be a bad idea.
Afriprid at currentprice is okay too.
Like I said, it depends on your inv. goal and objective. If it's for jijo then I don't know what to say, Loco or iphonix may be of help here. grin

I' have medium to longterm mindset towards the NSE. While keeping a close eye on erratic price movements that may lead to my jumping out at any time if i make considerable unexpected gain.
Thanks Mcy.

A good strategy.
Anyway, you may pick some units in order not to miss out totally.......should the stocks rally the more.......moreso that there's still positive momentum in the market.

What of those that have been hoarding?

Won't they sell now leading to liquidity?

I want to believe dollar scarcity was artificial

The dollar scarcity is not artificial.

At 390, the Naira is still overvalued. The CBN would have to empty the foreign reserve to defend the Naira at that price.

If the CBN allowed for the free flow of forex into the country
Just maybe we wont be having this problem

Cos I kid you not

So many are keeping their forex in unorthodox fashion
And the sum total of that is significant

Oga you like to dey SHALAYE, Just admit this was a wrong call and move on. Everyone who bought because of unbundling has been disappointed shikena. By the time all these your postulation materialize investors would have made more returns from GTB, Access, Wapco, Zenith etc.

Me still believe that investors fate are in the hands of a UACN management that has not proven themselves to care about retail investors. Only the management has collected cash from this deal. grin

If you support your position with the expected EPS of UACN after this sales then that would have been more robust. But not all these chest beating like you are a director in UACN. There is nothing you are seeing that layman investor no fit see. Wetin I sabi sef. grin grin grin
