Well spoken dear! wink cheesy grin
As I told some fellows, now is the time to increase ur belief system as an investor in FBNH... but u must seek to do it wisely.
One way is to look out to zero down ur risk by exponentially increasing ur margin of safety.
U can seek for VALUE... but then, the PRICE u pay should be everything!

jideflash:
The management shake-up in First Bank of Nigeria by the Central Bank of Nigeria has made two brothers, Oyekanmi Hassan-Odukale and Tunde Hassan-Odukale, the Chairmen of the bank’s United Kingdom subsidiary and parent company in Nigeria, respectively.

Based on findings by THE WHISTLER, both brothers are sons of the founder of Leadway Assurance, Sir Olusola Hassan Odukale.

Their father founded Leadway Assurance in 1970 to boost local participation in an industrial sector dominated by foreign firms.

And some persons were waiting for this same stock @ N2, some N4 and 3, and a few others @ 59k and 31k respectively. wink cheesy grin
...but FBNH had other plans.
What a world we live in!

Lesson; Never try to time the market.
...especially when u see a coy where a would-be healthy margin of safety already supercedes or matches its surrounding risk + asset price.
FBNH have been improving in the Nos in their financial print.

Might be a bit too early to draw conclusions, but it does seem that those who keyed in @ Fridays low may have done themselves well. ...congratulations!

U see where ACCESS is? wink cheesy grin

It's not too good that even FBNH(a bank which was just coming off from a very troubled state under previous management) is even ahead of UBA.
Maybe that of STANBIC can be said to be understandable given the huge benefits accrued from their cash cow(asset management arm in view) but not FBNH naw !!

For the record, I also hold some UBA, but the TRUTH must be told.

It is well.
Mcy56:
ACCESS:
Some entities seems to be accumulating this stock........the volumes exchanged @7.40 were more than what we have on the floor........quite a lot of cross deals......
Watching.......

Elephant is vexing..........@7.35 so far........UBA hurdles 'crushed'......
Is elephant crushing Access as well?
FBNH 7.35
ACCESS: 7.35/7.40........
Some extra ordinary things are happening here.........Who are the forces behind Elephant?

No surprises if FBNH overtakes UBA(but not access) in price. wink cheesy grin
Highlighted it here back then. (refer to one such post above)
Everything is in the financial print.
UBA needs to improve. It's a shame because they ought to be ahead of fellow P2P... ACCESS and FBNH considering where they are coming from. (down of the millennium in view)

With UBA, some things were not done right in 2020. ...particularly in the last 3 quaters of that yr.
As I said before now, H1 2021 will help nail down certain lines in their books and bring more clarity to the table.

As I told some folks;
Btw HONEYWELL and FBNH, the former will bear more of the brunt in light of the the recent CBN/FBNH management brouhaha.
Yes FBNH may not recover all the loans from HONEYWELL. (some or all the funds might end up been impaired)
Notwithstanding, the bank does appear to have since moved on. Without the loan there has been a remarkable improvement in the banks Nos considering where they are coming from. ...aside this case, we all know that the bank have seen much worse.

But if they do recover some or all the funds, then all the better.
This is where I love ACCESS bank. Mr Otu... would sure have had it rough! wink cheesy grin

All that needs to be done now (in FBNH) is to rid out the bad eggs so the current growth trajectory can be sustained without been infested.

Still a big fan of this statement for other other stock markets, but yet to be able to confidently say it works in the NSE. Some Nigerian stocks have just been falling down a cliff for years. I don't know why Nigeria has to always be a problem lol. Imagine tying to cost average a stock that keeps going down. I still want to go in the NSE though, long-term minimum 10 years, dividend stocks only, hopefully the future is bright.

Happy New Year guys.

I said I was going to start trading the strategy with 1 mil and that is what I did.

The strategy spat out MANSARD and so I bought it, no question asked just a few searches on this thread and noting negative turned up.

I am up 12% already, let's see what happens between now and 3 months time. I might exit before then if it goes above 50% though. If it goes down I hold till march ending and count my losses.

@Mcy56 I owe u, and I always pay my debts.

Remember this post? Well the strategy spat out MANSARD, I followed it and made 450k or there about from d 1 mil invested.

Ok, d strategy was supposed to work out a ticker every quater. Well, last one was supposed to be April but I missed it. It actually chose Japaul Gold but I was working remotely and couldn't buy it.

Well, I tweaked d strategy some to generate tickers every month, meaning that my new holding time is one month max.

Strategy told me to go long on Guinness and that is what I tried to do today. I was able to buy 21,837 shares @27.5 out of required 36,000 units. Probably make it up tomorrow. Let's see howmuch I will gain or loose by month end. I will probably sell if I hit +30% sha.

Have you had this type of experience with Morgan Capital before?

Ok, between Saturday and Yesterday I loaded 1.8 mil(I usually transfer 450k per day via transfer as i max out 500k per day on my app). As u know Saturday to Monday was public all so it was not reflecting on my account. Yesterday when I got the receipt it was 4mil they paid in, even when i opened my account it was also there. I have mailed them though. I hope they dont block my account as I am targeting some stocks. Sorry for the bad grammar though, I write like this when i am anxious.

This is not a disputable issue nah.It is BTW you and them to resolve.

In my own case my account was credited twice after making payment. I used the money immediately and made my 10% then. It took 8days for them to realise the error and corrected it. In all I made a significant profit on the deal.

It is only one person that sets the linkage at full bid. He placed his order twice. If he removes his order, linkage will trade at below 50kobo.

Any person buying now should consider the liquidity of this stock especially now the dividend and bonus is over.

Don't go and buy Kpomo.Trade cautiously and watch also the technicals.
