Write it off
You already waited for 5 years and the value of the stock has been decimated already by inflation.
Who knows thunder might strike twice on the same spot and you may be able to sell above 4.
It's a lesson to learn more about the market

I love this, I won't sell. Thanks 🙏

NSE is just a graveyard! A reflection of the bad state of Nigerian economy and slopiness of SEC. No new listing, deficient FPI, poor corporate governance, extreme manipulation, low retail participation, weak liquidity, lack of innovation, amongst others. #sigh

No new listing but listed ones are dumping the Nigerian bourse. Oando is another company that just pulled out after ripping off investors of their hard-earned money.

The directors of Okomu are proposing N12 as the final dividend.
Plus N9 interim that was earlier paid ie total of N21

Very correct. Now that the real money is about to roll in for Oando Wale and his crew want to kick shareholders out so as to chop their loot alone. Wale Tinubu and Mofe Boyo are thugs.

UBA has landed with a fantastic result. Or am I seeing double. PE looks like slightly less than 2. Final Dividend move up slightly from N0.80 to N0.90 bringing total dividend to N1.1 The market will surely push it up to a new level!!. How far up ?

I prefer UBA, STERLING and GTB at this time...

With the requisite trade set-up, I will align with the 1st 2 names at this time, but that's just me.

Again, careful selective play should be the way to go! (for now)

I did say that I love UBA.
...I still do! wink cheesy cool

A quick glance at the banks just released 2022 YE report, and I can see that they had a much lower exposure on impaired asset in view of the defaulted Ghana sovereign debt/bonds.
UBA reported N17.28B in impairment charge.
Total booked impairment loss for the group was even less than N18B, highlighting the banks level of efficiency and effective risk management framework.

Had highlighted this as one of the reason I prefer UBA ahead of the 6 Nigerian DMBs with presence in Ghana.

Overall, the bank delivered a fantastic performance with double digit growth witnessed in no less than 70% of key revenue and earnings line.

Still a great buy @ CMP!

Elsewhere, I also love the other bank with the S name above.

CAVEAT: NOT an investment advice. The need for due diligence should still assume higher precedence ahead of this post.

It is well.

It is well.

Bro, read the key audit matters. There you will see the level of impairment exposures flagged by auditors.

Zenith had it and compare the impairments of Zenith in the P/L accounts with what was stated in the key audit matters.

ETI had it and then you compare the impairments of ETI in the P/L accounts with what was stated in the key audit matters.

Now UBA has it. So compare the info on the key audit matters with what was stated in the P/L accounts. Marked difference!

These differences should be raised in these banks' conference calls.
