Pls i need the candid advice of this house.
I have enough money to pay my grad school fees and accommodation. Will paying these fees before going to the embassy improve my chances of getting a visa?

Hi Benom,

it does not necessary improve your chances of obtaining the visa.

what are you trying to accomplish by going to canad to study?
I might know a better way.

Benom,

you are confusing me, you said you want to study in canada, now you are saying you want to study in USA.
both ways I don't recommend both routes

you say you have the tuition money, it is probably 20,000 Canadian dollars
it cost you less to immigrate and live and work in Canada permanently
and you don't have to prove you are coming back to Nigeria

I can help you obtain a Canadian "Green Card" legally, it is what I do.

u don't recommend both cos all u are interested in is his money. His education is not important to u, what is important to u is to dupe him.
Just see how selfish u are.

Re: Travelling To Canada by angeldiana(f): 4:39pm On Nov 17, 2009
on the contrary justwise, I am trying to help Benom

you see, if I want to obtain a student visa, I have to prove so many things to the embassy, especially funds for tuition and living expenses, this amount can total 25000 dollars. and if you can't prove you have the cash flow, you will not get the visa.

I also have to prove that I am coming back to Nigeria. I will be asked how this degree will make my life better.

on the other side: if I want to immigrate, I don't have to prove that I am coming back, I can work and live anywhere in canada.

I do paperwork for both student and immigrant visa. I am a study and work abroad advisor
I have more than 10 years of experience, my advisors include retired visa officers.

Education is important to me, that is why I recommend immigration to Benom, he has undergraduate degree and that is enough for immigration.

I am not interested in anyone's money, I have enough money, all I am interested in is helping young men find their way to a better career and future.

I know what i want and i have stated it very clearly. Does payment of full tuition fees and accommodation fees improve your chances of getting a visa at the canadian embassy.
Re: Travelling To Canada by benom(m): 6:30pm On Nov 17, 2009
@justwise, what do u really think,
Re: Travelling To Canada by angeldiana(f): 6:40pm On Nov 17, 2009
it really doesn't matter Benom

the important thing is not to appear as if you are buying your way to Canada.
Visa officers do hundreds of interviews and they can spot that right away.

Tip: If your intention is to stay in Canada, don't apply for a student visa.
question: what type to study program you are enrolled with?
question: what kind of financial support you stated in the visa application?

Trust me, there is no magic in getting student visa as long as u meet the requirements. If u got the money to pay ur fees, rents, bills etc then u stand a good chance.

Many many Nigerians have done and still doing it.

There is a link here mainly for students applying for Canadian visa.

Take ur time and read from others and ask questions abt anything u don't understand.
