Hi TEHN Team,
Is there a reason TEHN activities aren't that publicised anymore (front page and all)? I enjoyed contributing to past projects and would love to be included in future ones.

Good evening everyone, I have never done this before and o really feel bad doing it but I need help.. I had to open a new mail and new nairaland Id, I got married sometime is 2010 and I'm blessed with a child, I am a typical example of a woman who suffers domestic violence, I have been beaten, insulted, disgraced and even to the point of getting miscarriage twice due to the beatings... In 2013 I had to run away from my husband and I ran back home, I stayed with my parents for almost 3 yrs before reconciling with my husband.. In all my stay with my parents, my mother was never happy with me, she once told me it wld be better to die married, although she took care of my son to the best of her ability, my father has been sick and out of work for 4 yes now.. I reconciled with my husband in the early months of this year and hr promised and swore never to raise a finger on me, I cldnt graduate from school as a result of the separation because I cldnt afford anything talk less of school fee.. My present condition now is that my husband relocated me and my child to the village with his mother and siblings, I've gone through hell in their hands but my main pain now is tht my husband is promising to beat me up very well when next he comes to visit... I want to leave this marriage but I can't go back to my parents, my mother will kill me faster, I sew very very well but my husband refused me doing anything to earn 1 kobo.. Please any well meaning Nigeria shld come to my aid, I dont need free money, I can work for it, my immediate needs now is a place to stay to start my life over again... Plz I wldnt want to give out too much information because my husband is everywhere online..

You want a place to stay away from your husband? That's just what you want? With your child or you alone?
Is your family, your extended family aware of the beatings from your husband? Is his own family aware too? Are you a member of any religious group? Are they aware? Have you reported to the police yet? It is very suspicious to me you are seeking shelter from virtual friends when your real friends are not aware of your predicament.
|Re: The E-Helpers Network (TeHN) - Official Thread by chimdiuto07: 7:11pm On Nov 05, 2016|
Yes I need a place to stay with my child, I'm not asking, my family and extended family know about it but everybody says I have to endure with, yes I reported to the police once in the agric area of ikorodu Lagos state, I reported with all the scars on my body and bleediv from the miscarriage I just had tht minute, they told me to go home and settle it tht it is a family matter, yes I used to be a member of a religious group who I left behind when I reconciled with my husband because I changed state, right now I can't mention it to them because I will be an object of serious laughter and I have no friend because that was one thing my husband made sure of as soon as we got married..

I'm sorry for replying late...
Please ma'am, I sent a mail to TeHN regarding my present issue last month.. I gave them every details they needed..but since my school does not accept E-transaction, hence-their refusal to assist me..
No doubt,TeHN invested so much time and effort to get my request done prior to the challenges faced..but it didn't work out..
I would really appreciate,if you can assist me in any way.

Thanks for your mention but TeHN has stopped accepting medical cases as we have no expertise needed to navigate cases with varying degree of complexity.
However, we will be willing to make a one-off donation IF:
We are satisfied with the verification done by any independent nler
TeHN execs assess and vote YES to provide the one-off financial support
|Re: The E-Helpers Network (TeHN) - Official Thread by MizTyna(f): 10:45am On Nov 14, 2016|
Thanks for the response. A one-off donation is fine too if we can have that. Verifications are very welcome. The boy is at Ayobo, Lagos. He'll also be at LUTH tomorrow for his check up. The father will be sending you a message with contact details soon. Thanks again

TeHN's EXEC's are majorly in support of providing the one-off financial support

Thank you for the quick response TEHN!
A one off donation will be great too.
For the physical verification, I may not be able to make this possible as I'm currently out of coverage. But I'm sure we can get the verification done.
I dont know them personally, but I saw the post on FP and it burns my heart so bad. Then I remembered TEHN.
I will mention the Op who posted this, to see if we have any means of verifying.
Please TEHN and other EXEC's kindly let me know how I can offer my own contribution after this verification is done.
I will be so greatful! Thank you!

Hi, do you know these people personally? Please is there a way to verify?
Can you provide us with details if you know them?
I have a friend in Uyo, I can speak to her to assist in verification if you provide us with more details.
TEHN is willing to offer a one off donation if the verification can be done and the Exec's are in support of providing the one off financial support.

First and foremost, we would like to formally appreciate your support thus far. All our outreach efforts couldn't have been possible without the support of selfless individuals such as yourself. Thanks ever so much.
We would like to assure you that TeHN has remained active on NL and have closed quite a few cases in the past couple of months. We've also started receiving regular monthly donations from anonymous donors that believes in our ambition to alleviate suffering of the helpless Nigerians.
We encourage you to either follow us or visit our threads as that's usually the best way to keep updated with our latest developments .
Thanks once again.

So I just did a quick Facebook search, and I found the details to contact the family of the boy.
According to the poster: "You can meet Victor and his Relations here. 11 B Owok Ekong Street, off Sampson Akpan Street,Uyo or call 08029426481."
I don't know how the verification process with TEHN works, but please note that I am willing to speak to my friend in Uyo (if required) to visit the family to verify for all.
