Has TEHN taken on the case of Emmanuel?

If so, please advise that you are taking donations.

It has become necessary to state the rationale for cases we get involved in

TEHN aim to provide succour to individuals who are currently incapacitated either by reason of ill-health and/or poverty, subject to a case by case evaluation

We also consider cases where the need is well defined and bounded so that the individual(s) is capable of getting back on their feet with no further involvement from us.

In other cases where a case cannot be taken directly by us, we can provide partial verification and campaigning as our investment in the case.

Thank you for your understanding

I will not speak for TeHN ort a charity group but in a personal capacity ....

I appreciate theissues but the first thing is to get yourself back on track mentally

Whatever help you get will not be optimised if you still have a suicidal mindset

Then the next major issue is verification of your claim

Then upon that, people will be less skeptical of who you are

Sorry but I can't keep this within me.

So,what you actually needed was financial help, 170K and the suicidal thread was a smoke screen?

I dislike emotional blackmailers. Goodluck

why did you deactivate your 190fan id?

It is quite difficult for me (I speak for myself) to believe you going by your antecedent and general overview of your person here on nairaland.

It is possible you are cash trapped now and actually need money desperately but asking faceless forumites through threats of suicide will not help you. It doesnt sound real.

You say you are a children teacher with Christ Embassy, that makes you a full fledged worker with the church. Confide in a pastor above you of your financial distress, 170k is so much money but actually so small for a church to raise for a commited worker.

How did you even arrive at such an odd figure of 170k solving your needs? I'll love to know the mathematics employed.

You also have many successful friends and you have mentioned them several times in your posts, ask them as individuals or a group (if they know each other) to help, if they are true friends, they will raise something for you.

Your family especially your sisters who are happily married through your mom can help you stand again.

All in all, I wish you the best in this trying time. I also pray you find favor when you decide on any of the options I listed.

Dear nairalanders,I greet you all.Each
time i plan to write abt my present
predicament,i decide against it for some
reason.perhaps, due to d recent turn of
event
in my life,i've made up my mind to let u
all know what's @ stake as per my health
condition, having sent
S.O.S to organisations & some of my ex
course mates; including d govt of cross
river state where I'm from.
To start with,2 yrs ago I complained of
hearing loss to one of my course mates
and he volunteered to reach
out to our ex mates on my behalf.along d
line nothing came up so i decided to rest
d
matter cos i could still make out with d
residual hearing as at then.d thing with
hearing impairment is,if left untreated it
could lead to full blown deafness.in my
case,it started 10 years ago precisely
august
2003 when i began to notice a ringing
sensation in my left ear, probably caused
by
my exposure to d ikeja bomb blast 2
years
earlier.i went for ENT evaluation d
following
year at LUTH & my audiogram result
indicated moderate hearing loss and
tinitus
(ringing in d ear) following which a
hearing
aid was recommended,to restore my
hearing.due to d cost(75k then),i couldn't
afford it.as time went on,i managed d
impairement with absolute trust in God's
healing,but then,it kept
deteriorating with every passing year.even
my not-too sterling academic
performance
in school was due in part to this
challenge.also,i did shy away from most
of
my course mates back then due to dis
anomaly.following my graduation,in 2010
i
went for another evaluation at UCTH,only
to
b diagnosed with severe hearing
loss.again,i
couldn't afford d hearing aid even though
i
had part of d money which i later spent
on
my late father's treatment.d recent
evaluation was done last year and d
result
was a bit worse cos i'll need 250k for a
behind-the-ear hearing aid,though d doc
recommended two @ 500k for balanced
hearing,i can still survive with 1.this is
just d
first part of my problem.
Due to d constant ringing,my cerebellum
has been somehow affected,in d sense
that i
experience loss in coordination &
reduced
motor skill when i walk or engage in
certain
activity(d ringing kind of weaken my
nerve
cells).dis actually started after we left
school.consequently,i've developed
anxiety n
fear, with a sharp rise in my b.p including
weight loss due to constant thinking
about d
trajectory of my life.honestly i'm yet to
graple with dis downward turn in my
life.becos of dis fear and anxiety,i am
mostly
indoor for days,i only go out during d
wee
hours to avoid prying eyes.
I've gone to diff churches including white
garment 4 healing n even herbalists,yet
nothing.nowadays,i gravitate towards
suicidal tendency cos of my inability to
find
succour to dis desolate living.as i
write,we r
yet to get d letter of administration from
d
high court which is a requirement for
processing my late dad's gratuity and
other
cash in his retirement savings
account.due to my
predicament,i'm not really active enough
to
go round n fight for it.to think that we r
entitled to over #5million of my dad's
pension n we r suffering,really beats my
imagination.if i can get back my life,i
promise to b at d top of my game and
never take life for granted.as d first of 7
children, there is high expectation of me,if
i
don't deliver,i'll become vile even to
certain
members of my family.at my age,i rely on
handouts from my friend n siblings
whom i
ought to b responsible for(is this a
curse).
@ dis juncture,i'd like to solicit ur help,if
there's a way any one can help me reach
out to
any philantropist or such organisations
that
can help me salvage d situation,it will go
a
long way in saving my life from this
downward spiral.or if i can get a loan
using
my degree & NYSC certificates as
collateral,i'll pay back with interest upon
d
receipt of my late father's gratuity.
my life is @ its lowest ebb & i'm ready to
do
anything to get out of it so i don't vanish
into oblivion.though i had every thing
mapped out,i never envisaged my life
plummeting to this abyss(permit me).u
might find this hard to believe, but it's d
gospel truth.i could go on & on,let me
stop
here.Below is my audiogram(hearing
evaluation)resut for ur perusal.thank u
for finding
time to read this.may God grant u 100%
health and unlimited energy as u lend a
helping hand. Thank you.
MOD,I beg you to please help me put this
on d front page.

I just came back from calabar where I
went to solicit help for my
predicament.this is what my friend
posted on his Facebook wall on my
behalf. pardon me if it's too long.

SAVE A LIFE: SAVE PATRICK, FRIDAY ETENG
FROM GOING DEAF
(I, Prince Michael Nku Abuo, JP stake my
integrity on this)
“Charity covers multitude of sins”-The
Bible.
Mr Patrick, Friday Eteng is a young man
with
dreams and ambitions but all of this will
die
if you don’t help. It is Mr Patrick
unwavering
push that led to his strive for academic
excellence, never giving up spirit and will
to
succeed that he was able to graduate
from
the University of Calabar with a Second
Class
degree in Microbiology irrespective of the
odd he has been living with since 2003.
Patrick is a Cross Riverian from Ugep in
Yakurr Local Government Area and
someone
known to me personally for over seven
(7)
years now. I got to know him during our
University days for we were classmates
and
to be frank during our first year in the
University he used to be top in the Class.
I never knew what made him graduate
with a
second class until recently when he sent
me
a mail demanding for assistance for his
hearing condition, I invited him over to
Calabar from Lagos were he has been
struggling to put life together after his
National Youth Service.
On Thursday, 21st November, 2013
Patrick
called that he was in Calabar and on
meeting with him at our-CRISPON
secretariat we discussed and I perused
through his documents and reports as it
relates to his hearing loss I now knew
why
he retrogressed in his academics and
why
then we needed to shout to get him hear
us.
I wept!
Patrick Eteng has been living with this
condition since 2001 and it came about as
a
result of the bomb blast at Ikeja Military
cantonment in Lagos State which
produced
hard sounds that affected his hearing
condition leading to severe hearing loss and
loss in coordination.
Since 2001 Patrick has been crying out for
help without anyone listening to his cry
or
coming to his help both relatives and
friends. He managed to pay his bills from
his
father’s meager earning and a
scholarship
from the State Government. He intended
to obtain hearing aids upon his
graduating
from the University but in 2011 after
managing this condition for a decade (10
years) his father died.
The truth is Mr Patrick Friday Eteng needs
an
average of #500,000 to
help restore his condition to relative
normalcy which if not attended to
soonest
would lead to his total deafness. This
condition he finds himself has led to
other
nervous dysfunction. Attached are the
audiogram test, his certificate awarded by
the University of Calabar and the cost of
the
audio device to be implanted etc.
Pat could have been your brother, he
could
have been your uncle, and he could have
been your relative or a friend,I wish I
could
provide the expenses If have the means. I
pray
everyone who reads this write up makes a
contribution to help him no matter how
small.
As our brothers keeper if we put our little
funds together we can help him and I
know
we will. I am calling on all Yakurr citizens,
all
Cross Riverians and well meaning
Nigerians
and the public to come to the aid of Mr
Patrick Friday in order to save him from
going deaf. Your one naira can help, your
reference for free treatment on him
would
do, every support is very, very necessary.
I quote his words: “Michael this thing has
gotten to a stage where I can’t hide it any
longer, I can hardly eat, I feel a strong
ringing in my ears, and my heart beat and balance are
uncoordinated and I can hardly hear”
“Charity covers multitude of sins” I appeal
to
your conscience!! We will be going on air
on
Cross River State Broadcasting
Corporation,CRBC soon. Below are the
details of his
account and contact. Please give a helping
hand!!!

Thank you and God bless you as you

a hand of fellowship. As you give know
