LastApostle: Amaechi think he can bully GEJ not knowing the president is also a creek warlord.

Amaechi, why is it that no south south governor has payed you solidarity visit? Why no south east governor doing same?

Why hob nob with these jihadist to bring down your own?
Do you know these northern elements killed all the constitutional amendment arrangement that could have favoured the south east and south south?
Do you even understand that the south south man assume mantle of leadership by divine intervention?
You want to play the role of Awolowo and Isaac Adaka Boro in this present Nigeria?

Should any of my toe be affected with leprosy, I won't have the patient to cure and massage I will simply cut it off before it affect the others. GEJ is too tolerant.

pro01: At a time of great governance crisis and volatile security situation in Rivers state ENTIRELY caused by the recalcitrance and stupidity of the state governor, what do these jobless renegade governors seek to achieve by going there under the guise of a supposed "solidarity visit"? Solidarity with who, for what purpose, to spite who, to achieve what sinister ends? These fools are all clowns, and they deserve whatever misfortune that befalls them. Would their visit help restore peace to the warring parties, or would it worsen the crisis and create more bad blood?

The protesters should roast them alive if possible, to serve as a deterrent to others that are in the habit of stoking crisis in furtherance of selfish and mischievous ends. Nonsense.

Shameful journalism indeed. This report is so bias, although not surprise having seen it is from Sahara reporter. The intention of the report has been defeated as more and more Nigerians now understand that Sahara reporters do not often present issues and development fairly. The sooner they stop betraying the conscience of true journalism then better the image of the organization. is

Well spoken! Why such a visit when they know all is not well. Similarly no pro-GEJ group should visit. They should allow the senate do a proper investigation and proffer solution if possible.
Which senate to carry out proper investigation? Is rivers state owned by the entire senate and house of reps? Is only pdp that can settle this issue because pdp owned rivers

An instruction to the Rivers State commissioner of police from the Inspector General of Police has cleared the way for northern governors on a solidarity visit to Rivers to leave the airport.

The visitors were holed up in the VIP lounge of the airport due to a sponsored protest by forces loyal to Nigeria's president Goodluck Jonathan and his wife outside the airport.

Rivers state officials told SaharaReporters said they were already planning to use helicopters to bring the governor and his solidarity visitors to the government house but later changed the plan after they received assurances from the police IGP that more policemen had been deployed to protect lives and property.

Mr. Amaechi and the visiting governors traveled in the same car with their respective police details massed around the special car to drive safely out of the airport to the government house.

It is easier to recognize " allege loyalty" to achieve personal gains for personal interest. Those creating problems with the name of goodluck in rivers state are self centered. The governors voted for him in the NGF election and they have the right to pay him a solidarity visit. They are by their action making Jonathan's government ungovernable not Amaechi. Rivers is a subset of Nigeria and Jonathan is the president. They are not helping Jonathan at all . All the gains of the president after the Declearation of the state of EMMERGENCY in the north have been eroded by this show of shame. The visit of northern governor has not changed our resolve to vote for Mr.President. Over heating the polity at this stage is only exposing the weakness of Mr. President and attracting sympathy for the opposition. This is a clarion call to Mr. President to call his self centered men to order before they plung this country into chaos that will make the south south to lose this opportunity that God gave to us on a platter of gold

NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO, AMAECHI WILL COMPLETE HIS TENURE. THE MORE THEY FIGHT HIM, THE MORE THEY GO DOWN. I WONDER WHY PEOPLE WOULD BE SO CONSUMED WITH PASSION TO PULL DOWN THE OTHER BECAUSE THEY WANT TO CLIMB TO THE TOP. POWER BELONGS TO GOD, AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHO WILL TAKE OVER FROM AMAECHI IN 2015 AS GOVERNOR. NYESOM WIKE MAY FIGHT AND STRUGGLE AS HARD AS HE CAN BECAUSE HE HAS THE BACKING OF THE PRESIDENT AND HIS WIFE, BUT ONE THING I KNOW HE CAN NEVER BE GOVERNOR OF RIVERS. HE IS PH AGAIN TODAY, HE WAS HERE ON SUNDAY. I KEEP WONDERING IF HE EVER CONCENTRATES TO DO HIS WORK AS MINISTER IN ABUJA.AS FOR GEJ AND HIS WIFE, THEY SHOULD KEEP FANNING THE EMBERS OF VIOLENCE IN RIVERS, ONE DAY THAT FLAME WOULD CONSUME THEM AS WELL.

Anti-Amaechi Protesters Attack Northern Governors In Port Harcourt

Exactly one week after the Rivers State Assembly crisis, protesters who are against the state governor Chibuike Amaechi have attacked four Northern governors led by Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger state.

According to information gathered by Channels Television, the protesters who besieged the Port Harourt International Airport, had camped there from 7am on Tuesday morning.

Chanting anti-Amaechi slogans, the protesters berated the Northern governors for intervening in Rivers state’s internal  crisis.

The three governors including Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Sule Lamido (Jigawa) and Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano) remained at the VIP Lounge of the airport for about an hour waiting for Mr Aliyu to arrive.

After Mr Aliyu arrived, the governors drove out of the airport in a waiting motorcade provided by their host. But as their cars drove out of the airport and headed towards the Rivers State Government House, the protesters became violent pelting the motorcade with stones, water bottles, sticks and other items.

However, the governors arrived the Government House safe, without any major incident, and are now holding a closed-door meeting with Mr Amaechi.

Meanwhile, the Rivers state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has criticised Governor Amaechi for setting up a 12 man committee to investigate the crisis rocking the state House Assembly.

The party said that Amaechi can’t be a judge in his own case.

The Senate is expected to give its own report on Wednesday.

@OP, don't you think its more reasonable to use 'anti ameachi protesters' than referring to Riverians as thugs
