EKO is a Benin word. Lagos belongs to the Benin people, but the Europeans came with their divide and rule tactics, and disbanded the Benin Oba and chiefs in Lagos, because Benin people, like Igbo people, are very rebellious. * it is unfortunate that when one tribe is benefiting from an existing govt. what we will be hearing is we are one Nigeria.
