i will post pix of all major projects embarked upon by Sule lamido led administration. starting with Housing |
"Our programmes, pronouncements and actions will bear the unmistakable stamp of the moral and ideological character of the political background we come from." These exactly were the words of Governor Sule Lamido on the date of the inauguration of his PDP led Government, the 29th of May 2007. According to the 2006 census, the State has a total population of 4,348,649 million inhabitants. The population growth of the state is estimated at 3.5 % with about 48 % of the population falling under the age of fifteen. Out of the estimation about 2.9 million are considered to be productive adults. Eighty per cent (80%) of the population is found in the rural areas and is made up of mostly Hausa, Fulani and Manga (a Kanuri dialect). The pattern of human settlement is nucleated, with defined population centers. Cross border migration between Jigawa State and neighboring states and between the State and Niger Republic is common. Migration of people into the state is highest during the dry season when cattle herders from neighboring Niger Republic migrate to the south in search of pasture and water for their animals. Outward migration is a feature of the off farming season known as “cirani” during which people leave the state in search of jobs in the neighboring states, particularly Kano and some major cities in the country. |

11years old child set ablazed in lagos. am sure na aboki do am. |
thats just the point. a lot of talking points and missing link in the story |
i still maintain my fact corp members are not seen as target in the north. the case under discussion is an isolated event. am in jigawa and constantly moving from different part of the norrh., only in bauchi you dont see youth corpers, all other places they walk around without molestation. as i just said in my other post a serving youth corp member just graciously accepted employment offer from jigawa state ministry of education. if these 3 corp members are real target in garki, i bet they would not last a day. after the regreatable and demonic actions of some misguided elements leading to the death of 10 youth corp members, this is the first time any alledged report of sort of intimidation or physical attack is reported against youth corp members in the entire north. before the election, corp members move freely all over the north, here in dutse corp members go about thier business without any fear. samething i witness also in kano. @poster. i understand ur plight in having to stay in a rural area such as garki, but you dont have to paint an exsergerated horrible pix of the wrost case senario just ve ur self repatraited |
here we go again. this na real fresh air |
the fact still remains that they were attacked not becoz they were corp members. |
@poster you were attacked by a mental disable person and not bcoz of your nysc status it is a common case all over nigeria, when you yell ole ole or thief thief, what you expect is an army of people with clubs, petrol and tyre. if for any reason. corp nembers are target in jigawa, explain to us how you guys have manage to stay alive. i relate wit a lot of corp members here in jigawa of which many have shown thier desire to stay behind if employed by the state government. ur co -corp fello one gearad from anambra state just got employed wit the state government and the bobo is excited to stay back. the truth here is that, corp members are never seen as a target in the north save for the unfortunate incident in post election violence. yet even after the violence corp members are still respected and offered jobs all over the north. a lot of corp members posted to the north and subsequently employed uses such job as a startup job before going for better jobs. others stayed behind use thier skills start a private business before moving on. @ poster you serve in the north thier are risk associated with serving in the north, just like thier are risk associated with serving in the south. for example a friend of mine also from jigawa state and coincidentlly from gumel serving in imo state just called me and told me how he cheated death by some seconds when some dare armed robbers invaded nwele police station olu imo state this morning shooting as if no body live within 30km radius of the police station. |

Am a muslim, but my question is why is it that catholic priest are not super rich as thier penticostal counterpart. |
At times i tend to wounder who are more intelerance - the hausa fulani or thier christain counterparts. why are they the only religious body that kick against the panel.? southern branch of CAN nor the yoruba CAN did not find anything wrong with the panel or the sheirk. theses northern christains should get thier fuk ass straight and stop all these unnevessary press release |
I pray almighty Allah will strike his fury on those that perpetuated this satanic act, God your wrath should start in this world and in the hereafter. |
