every day is yet another breaking news of lives and properties loss to armed robbers in the southwest. initially armed robbers are common features in the southeast, but the advert of kidnapping has drastically reduced the rate at which robberies takes place. my question is this why is robberies flourishing in the southwest in a more daring and sophisticated manner, while at the same time cases of armed robberies are reducing in other parts of the country. take the north as a practical example, some states like jigawa, kano, kebbi, sokoto do record zero robbery in 3 months
