Seyixyz: BIG FAT LIES..We hav consistently remained in d top 5 for ages..I wil excuse ur ignorance..Say thank u..Proudly an ABU Alumni lol, dude yur First Name must be Joseph, becos yu r such a dreamer. I cannot recall when last ABU appaired within the 1st 7 in our national ranking. OAU, UNIBEN, UI, UNIILLORIN, UNILAG always run the top 5 positions for ah very long while nw. If yu finally leave skul 2maro, na d fine fine structures wan help yu compete for labour market?? Though, anytime anyday i will stil envy the structures in ABU Zaria, they are so so beautiful. NB: na for Kaduna state dem born nd raise me, i dey always visit ABU 24'7, most of my pals dey there. I always seek the best at all tymz, plus fun though, thatz y i jeje go for UNIBEN, truely d BEST. #RepUNIBEST 1 Like |

misterh: just so we're clear, i respect people equally. Even if you are not from one of the heavyweights varsities, what matters is your individual intellect and your being smart. The school just polishes your intellect and potential. All I'm saying!!! Point is, no disrespect to lecturers and all concerned, most those technocrats became what they are as a result of individual brilliance, efforts and dedication to a path. All they do is chart you through a course.... Shey dem want teach me to play football for class? But should I become successful in football tomorrow, people will shout he was my student! |

What a thread! It's hot in here mehn! ABU is beautiful no doubt. There's no way you'll enter the school without falling in love with it. The first time my eyes saw the Basketball court in the sport complex i was amazed, the court was simply magnificent. What i love most about the school is its neatness. I can't argue wether or nt it's better than OAU in terms of beauty cos i've never been to OAU, but one thing is for sure, there are few schools you can compare to ABU in that respect. |

These are very beautiful pictures but honestly ABU doesnt look as good as it appears on pictures. Although the school can boast of good structures, but as it is in the Nigeria public sectors, they lack adequate maintenance. |

Henry46:Well, that's debatable. That a Nigerian uni is ranked above another does not justify that she churns out more employable graduate than the one below(I stand to b corrected, but shey the rankings in 9ja are done based on how much computerised a uni has gone?). History, influence and wealth makes a University prestigious.... And on such grounds, I doubt any uni beats ABU in Nigeria. You'l be amazed the number of abusites in both public and private sector of the Nigerian Economy, more so, the powers they wield. |

Hmm....Where is Fynestboi? This is the real Nairaland educational debate! Punch line: Whether you study in the the lion's den, great ife, the school of 1st choice, the school better by far, the premier university or the school naturally ahead, the name or fame of your school will not save you from hunger or rotting in the naija labour market. If you turn out well, your alma mata will recognise you and brag about you, if not you are on your own. Better work hard and maximise your time in whichever university you find yourself!!! 2 Likes |
