POSSIBLY ALGERIA but definitely NOT Sudan!

I have done this trip sixty or seventy times in the last 12 years or so and I know most of the routes. Also your flightmap on the picture of the back of seat LCD screen quotes here shows the flightpath and it avoids heading to the Eastern side of the continent. (Unless of course the pilot was several thousand miles off course?)
