There is no need for such a conference anyway not to talk of spending a whole seven billon naira just talking. How many constitutional or national conferences does Nigeria want to host anyway There have been too many of them already.
And this is a country where rural areas are still lacking in basic infrastructure in terms of good schools, tarred roads and pipe borne water. It is time for Nigerians to pressure their leaders at the local and state level to provide proper quality services and stop POLITICKING.

Americans are Republicans in outlook remember. The driver of the American economy is the private sector They are not dependent upon handouts and jobs from the Federal Government.
However if you think there will ever be a day when the Federal Government would give up its sovereignty over the oilfields and offshore oil deposits then you are really living in cloud-cuckoo land.

CFCfan: No coup can succeed in today's Nigeria, as the massive uprising against such an action could lead to a 2nd civil war. Over 14 continuous years of civil rule shouldn't be torpedoed on the whims of some disgruntled, out-of-favor politicians.
