Obasanjo and his co-travellers in subversion should plot and execute their coup even today. Let them attempt to present Nigeria a new year gift wrapped in the symbolic 'Fellow Nigerian' speech with martial music on the air-wave, which had characterize past coups and see how such futile exercise will pan out. As for me and other patriotic Nigerians, we say GEJ till 2019! And we are solidly behind the National Conference! 2 Likes |

Omo_Tier1: You sound like a frustrated clown and it fits you very well. Omo_Tier1: You successfully exposed yourself for being one of those irritating and disgusting imbec1les who scream 'Ibos" whenever deficiency takes over their pulverised brains. Who told this loser i was Igbo. You are such an embarassment. Omo_Tier1: Again, stop repeating your useless "kill and divide" nonsense Omo_Tier1: When did GEJ call Buhari the sponsor's ? and wasn't it the same APC elements you worship, who shamelessly kicked against the state of emergency in place now. Your foolishness is impeccable Omo_Tier1: How does the tears above support your accusations of tribal and ethnic division labeled against the president. You shouldn't be using the "Kill and Divide" nonsense you cant defend, cos you are obviously and desperately engaging in a tail chasing exercise. 16 Likes |

[quote author=Omo_Tier1] The amount budget for it clears tells you it is a fraud to begin with! If people truly love nigeria, then let them sacrifice and come to that conference with their own belly! After all, when the committee went round Nigeria, were people paid to come submit their memorandum? Were there not lawyers in those gatherings? N7bn for group of inconsequential men and women to gather for things we already know, have been discussed and already have practical solutions proposed about is a monumental waste that characterize GEJ's government. To think that less than 10years ago Obasanjo held similar conference with less than N1bn and nothing came out of it, this same GEJ wants to spend x7 of that to hold his own. [\quote] There is no need for such a conference anyway not to talk of spending a whole seven billon naira just talking. How many constitutional or national conferences does Nigeria want to host anyway There have been too many of them already. And this is a country where rural areas are still lacking in basic infrastructure in terms of good schools, tarred roads and pipe borne water. It is time for Nigerians to pressure their leaders at the local and state level to provide proper quality services and stop POLITICKING. |

Omo_Tier1: Your ill conceived opinion does not represent that of the average Nigerian. You accuse GEJ of bigotry, yet laced your comment with ethnic sentiments. Saying that you are from the south south does not in any way mask your ignorance about the country you claim to know and love. GEJ's only undoing is that he opted to changr the status quo in governance. Though he isn't a saint, but he's surely laying a foundation where domocracy can thrive and not some wholesale politics introduced to us by criminals who think they know what is good for us. When OBJ got his second stint as president, what did he do with the afforded him?. He harrassed opponents with impunity, supervised the desecration of the constitution and murdered every democratic tenets. Today he's out of favor with power and onbiously out of touch with reality. The political balance in the country has changed, those who claim to be the majority have lost out to the oppressed minorities and that is a very good cause for their discomfort. I pray that God should grant your war wishes and the consequences that comes with it. Maybr that will clear the logs in your eyes. 7 Likes |

CFCfan: No coup can succeed in today's Nigeria, as the massive uprising against such an action could lead to a 2nd civil war. Over 14 continuous years of civil rule shouldn't be torpedoed on the whims of some disgruntled, out-of-favor politicians.dream on,when you wake up,your medicine would be waiting for you |

ounpe before they take over. I enjoyed my life during the military. Exchange rate was good and there was order in the society. What conference are they tauting? We all know what Nigeria needs but the leaders politicise everything. The conference can never produce any acceptable result. The igbos have Biafra on their mind, south south have resource control, westerners need state police, the north want power. Can all these be granted? |
