are already collapsing their structures in the North West and North East into Atiku Support Groups and state PDP structures

Kwankwaso will not step down for anybody, he's in the race to make a point with the number of vote he can harvest in the north just like Buhari did before winning on the fourth trial.

I know you're pained by my assertion, but I want you to know I'm a realist and not a deluded fellow like many people here on Nairaland. You can't sit in the comfort of your home in Lagos and assume that Tinubu will win because APC is in power or because you believe that Northerners will vote him because of Buhari. You forgot that Atiku and Kwankwaso is in the race too which which will split vote into 4 with Obi with the least. Obi is not banking on the NW votes, but I can confidently tell you that Obi will 25% or more in 3 states or more of the NE, 4states or more of NC, win the FCT. I'm presently in the NE, I also work in the NC. I've been to the whole NW, I know how they feel about Buhari and Tinubu right now.

To win the presidency, not only a simple majority is required but 25% of the votes in at least 24 states and the FCT.
*In the 7 states of the NW, Obi may only get that in Kaduna State. The remaining 6 are out of his reach.

*In the NC, he could get that in Benue,
Nasarawa and Plateau. Kwara, Kogi and Niger out of his reach.
