Are u insane? Did d post say the man or the bomber is a muslim? Y bring religion into this?
Remember we don't have suicide bombers in christianity or any other religion. Suicide bombers are found in the religion of peace.

pandriod: Just like the way they rejoiced when non ibos were deported from Lagos, only to start shouting when ibos were deported.
Was it the Igbos that rejoiced when the former governor of kaduna state died in a plane crash?
PoliticsRe: Chidi Lloyd Sues Police For N50billion Over Ill-treatment by 1oracle(m): 5:10pm On Aug 07, 2013
jdilight: I support his suite against the police

If he win, this becomes a great victory to the whole of nigeria.

lmagine he win another takes the police to court and wins again and another and another etc, till the police come to understand the boundaries of their job and stop treating nigerians live immigrant criminals.

this will put fear in the police. the human right activists will begin bark knowing they can now cause a storm in a tea cup if nt in a bucket.

just imagine Asari dokubo (ex militant leader) challenging law makers and nigeria, where did he got the moral/impetus. from buhari of course, if big man try and win smaller men will take the steering from him.

This clubbing state law maker is belling the cat of lawful molestation and intimidation in this country less give him a good support.

This victory is victory for all in disguise.
Who bails the man he nearly killed?

Soon northern governors and governors from the west will pay him a solidarity visit. Then after that, few of them will meet Jonathan and ask him to appoint a special judge for the case.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Terror Suspects Were Questioned By Mossad Agents by 1oracle(m): 1:36pm On Aug 06, 2013
ocelot2006: 'can't say I'm quite suprised about the Mossad angle. Ever since it's creation from the defunct NSO, The Nigerian DSS/SSS has always had a cordial relationship with the Isreali Intelligence services, particularly Mossad and possible Shin-bet (the DSS's functions are quite similar to the later's). The Isrealis are equally scared of Iran's retailation for the murder of a number of Iranian nuclear scientists, and worry abouut Iran's use of proxy groups like Hezbollah to carry out such action.
And what is the connection between Nigeria, kano state in the disagreement between Iran and isreal? Why don't they build their weapons depot in Iran why Nigeria? If they bomb western and isreali interests in Nigeria, is it only westerners/Israelis that will die? We don't care who interrogates them, all we want is justice.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Terror Suspects Were Questioned By Mossad Agents by 1oracle(m): 1:29pm On Aug 06, 2013
S@NNiE:
this whole drama reeks of Mossad involvement right from the beginning. the DSS needs to know that in the clandestine world of espionage "ANYTHING CAN BE STAGED". Mossad pointed the DSS in the direction of the house in kano, well nations help each other in intelligence gathering, but every secret service knows that apart from snooping around, suspect interrogation reveal loads of information, the suspects speak fluent English yet this interrogation was done in a foreign language with the DSS playing audience in their own playground.
there's more to this than meets the eye, DSS needs to assume the driver's seat pronto
So that large arms discovered in kano was stage managed? I am sure you are as confused as those that is telling us to grant amnesty to murderers.

They better remain over there because if they come back home, Fashola will still deport them and dump them under bridge by 3am without minding their safety and some fools will shout eko ni baje oooo.
PoliticsRe: Army, Police To Take-over Ladipo Market by 1oracle(m): 11:52am On Aug 03, 2013
When you read all the comments here, you will wonder how Nigeria will ever be one. My question is supposing Igbos declare BIAFRA tomorrow, will yorubas join the fight to retain them in ONE NIGERIA? Is this the one Nigeria we fought for? Did we kill this people before in the name of one Nigeria only to come back to discriminate that this is our land and not their land? What exactly is the meaning of One Nigeria?
PoliticsRe: Army, Police To Take-over Ladipo Market by 1oracle(m): 10:48am On Aug 03, 2013
Garri the 1st: That doesn't give them the right to disobey the laws of the land. I'm sure yorubas are grateful for their "contribution" to SW economy, but they should obey simple laws if they wish to maintain the peaceful coexistence..

cool
please kindly tell us the law(s) they have disobeyed in this situation. Is it right to impose a market leader on the traders?

igbobuigbo: Stop being silly. You cannot be on the board and management team if you do not have a stake in any company. Now go and remove all the non-Yorubas on the list and come back and compare FBN with other banks. It will be equal to WEMA.

UBA
Zenith
Diamond
Fidelity
Union Bank
Access Bank
Igbos have either highest or second highest stake
First Bank: Igbos have quite high stake too.

You are a non starter. List all the companies in Lagos (big and small), all the retail and wholesale businesses, all the transport businesses, all the entertainment businesses, all the hotels, and their owners. List every single entity that pays taxes and levies and other fees to Lagos, so we know who owns what and what each brings to the Table, do all the additions and subtractions, and see what's left that belongs to Yoruba. Until you do that, you are a non starter.
Nwannaa please don't waste your MB on that half baked economist.

lagcity: So you believe that 20 pounds nonsense your grandfather told you? Awo brought you ppl back to life, he bailed out the dying ACB which was the major lender to Igbo businessmen and traders. No ACB, no Igbo business, comprende?
Your bigotry is not hidden at all, even awolowo when he was alive agreed that he paid the GREAT IGBOS 20 pounds after the war.

PoliticsRe: Fashola Replies Peter Obi Over Alleged Deportation Of Igbos From Lagos by 1oracle(m): 5:22pm On Aug 02, 2013
Obi1kenobi: This is an idealistic solution which in theory looks fantastic but how many are willing to uproot their existence after building a livelihood here. For starters, you have to be clear on the fact internet forums are very different from the real world. The groups co-exist perfectly despite the rabid ramblings of the keyboard warriors here. It's all part of the liberties afforded by internet anonymity, so anyone can post any drivel without consequence.

Lagos has historically benefited from a colonial legacy as Nigeria's sea gateway which has made it the industrial and commercial capital in addition to the immense benefits accrued from being the former administrative capital. Some Yorubas from remote Osun, Ondo, Oyo or even Kwara villages have deluded themselves into seeing this as a personal achievement. Particularly in light of the fact that post-civil war policy fiat -especially the indigenization decree - handed the industries to them on a platter.

Ideally though, I do wish the SE indigenes would invest less in foreign climes and more at home.
You've said it all and you were so honest to give the Igbos an honest advice on the bolded. I personally have seen it that Igbos are the only tribe that doesn't learn from history.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Replies Peter Obi Over Alleged Deportation Of Igbos From Lagos by 1oracle(m): 5:14pm On Aug 02, 2013
Obi1kenobi: I'm probably too dumb but I missed the part where they were randomly dumped in states they weren't indigenes of in the dead of the night. They were also clear beggars which was declared illegal. I've seen little to suggest those rounded up in Lagos were beggars. If Lagos were repatriating beggars and destitutes, the overwhelming majority would be Northerners and immigrant Yorubas. That's the plain truth.
Don't waste your MB anymore to point out the evil behind this action to many fools that is supporting this discrimination. All the effort they make to defend this barbaric action is in itself an effort to bring Fashola to disrepute.

Texas.Cowgirl:
Then why were Yorubas also deported in 2011?
I wasn't aware that some Nigerians from Yoruba tribe was deported by a Nigerian from the same Yoruba tribe. That's another evidence to prove that google knows everything. If you doubt me, just type "yorubas are" in a google search box you will see the answer to all this problem. Kindly share what google have to say with us here. grin grin grin grin

PoliticsRe: Ladipo Market Belongs To Mushin LGA - LGA Boss by 1oracle(m): 2:47pm On Aug 02, 2013
OPC.NAIRALAND:
This is part of Yoruba problem, right here in bold. We allow Ibo to name markets. We ceded authority over our land to them long ago. Markets should be named by LG. How can you have a Babaloja over Aguiyi-Ironsi Market? Is Aguiyi-Ironsi a Yoruba name?

How many Fajuyi markets are in East? Do they have an Adekunle market in Iboland?

We slept at the steering too long my brothers and sisters. We need an outcry against this practice.
The problem is not on the name of the market, mushin LGA, Lagos State government or the Babaloja, the problem is on the structure of the so called One Nigeria. Until the structural problem of One Nigeria is addressed, we will continue to live in delusion of having a one Nigeria.
If i may ask, how many yorubas are in the south east markets as we have Igbos in the markets in south west? Can you mention any market in south east dominated by Yorubas?
One Nigeria is a project that will never work. We are divided in between ethnic and religious line.

Otono2: Betrayal... just 4 a plate of amala
\
The real enemies of the Igbos is the Igbos and not other tribes, If Ngige should endorse this discrimination and inhumane treatment on fellow human beings irrespective of tribe and ethnicity. So Lagos state government offices open by 4am under eko bridge? So Lagos state government doesn't know state house in awka again? Ngige have shown the same behavior the so called useless group called OHANEZE displayed by going to kano to show support for amnesty for murderers(boko haram) after they bombed bus terminals owned by Igbos in kano. OHANEZE didn't visit peaceful MASSOB members languishing in prisons and police cells in Igbo land for peaceful association as their offense. OHANEZE was no where to be found when Massob members was killed and dumped in esu river there in Igbo land.
So sorry for the Igbos under their so called useless IGBO leaders. Ojukwu is the only leader Igbos have even at death.
