Well, Jehovah's Witnesses refusal to take blood transfusion is not so much because it is unsafe, it is because that practice contravenes God's law on the use of blood. God specifically commanded that his servants must not eat blood. Blood must not be misused. At Genesis chapter nine verse three and four, God was very clear - don't eat blood. Genesis 9:3,4.
When he gave the Mosaic law, he re-emphasized that the only proper use of blood is for atonement (sacrifice), that blood must not be eaten but should be poured into the dust if an animal was slaughtered to be eaten. Read Leviticus chapter 17:13-16
In the Christian era, it was again emphasised that Christians should abstain from blood. So how should Christians abstain from blood? When we considered God's law on how blood was to be handled or used we understood that we must not eat blood. Whether or not safe, Christians must abstain from blood transfusion. Blood Transfusion amounts to improper use of blood. Please read Acts chapter 15:28,29.

all forms of treatment including surgeries or medication have their complications or adverse effects. nothing is really safe in medicine. that is why we have concept of patient-centred healthcare on deviation from past doctor- centred care.

So your main reason for trying to worship God is heaven. That is your main goal? Your goal is misplaced then. There is a universal issue in which you are involved. That issue was raised in the garden of Eden. Why not open your heart to study the Bible so you understand what issue is at stake.

Enough time has been given to Satan to prove that he is a better ruler, but all we can see in the world ruled by him today is chaos and pain. Soon, God's government in the hands of his dear son, Jesus Christ, will crush and put an end to Satan's dismal rulership and usher in untold blessings to all those who have supported God's rulership. That time is at hand. Current world event prove that unmistakably, Matthew 24:3-14.
Man was not and never created to live in heaven, Psalm 115:16. God's purpose for man and the Earth has not changed, Psalm 37:9-11, 29. Jesus confirmed that the mild-tempered ones, or the meek, shall inherit the Earth, Matthew 5:5. But those despoiling the Earth are those that will be flushed out. So your desire to go to heaven is not realistic or supported by the Bible, it is mere wishful ideation.

I haven`t lived in the UK so I don't know about the situation there but a vast majority of africans (majorly Nigerians) see white people or anything with a pale skin as superior and believe our culture is inferior to theirs. A looser from india will be treated like a king in Nigeria, we downgrade our culture here, imagine english is compulsery in most Nigerian schools and our native language isn't. Truth: Witnesses put much faith in doing God's will. Sorry to disappoint you, they love their children and loved ones. In fact, medical practitioners agree that it is not safe either, and no guarantee of living well or surviving as no blood samples really match another. Besides, there are other non-blood media.
