This is the LORD'S doing and it is marvellous in my sight. I want to say a fat Thank YOU to GOD and this beautiful platform with experienced and ever ready Mums for Guidance, Love, Attention and Support...

I got married in May 2021 and the journey was more than smooth cos I got pregnant the next month without knowing. Poor me! I travelled down to another state for a wedding.. When we got back home we noticed some pregnancy symptoms and confirmed it but along the line in August I noticed blood fiam left for the hospital and was advised to abort it cos the sac was not there. Tor! I was sad but did anyways and that was how the journey to getting pregnant again began. I would always watch out to the following months and feel sad when RED shows up so I was always busy googling various foods, anything to boost ovulation. Along the line, I visited a Doc. was advised to use one ovulation drug like that I have forgotten the name. The first cycle didn't work then I googled the drug and the side effect put me off I had to stop it and tried Okra water along with faith and prayers unto GOD.

As God would have it by Dec, God made a way and I smiled again.. Fast forward to delivery. I was admitted on Sat and my baby girl was out on Mon at 39wks but the surgeons noticed that my pulse rate was dropping anyways the devil came too late and I was placed on oxygen for good 3days but I could move around, talk, carry my baby and do other things but that something sha dey my nose. I was released on Sunday evening after proper monitoring. Abeg, expect me in the next 4 yrs as womanhood no easy. I have been finding it difficult to sleep bayii and my Baby J. is ever ready to suck. Stomach still big a little. Heartburn and itchiness that dealth with me during pregnancy all gone.. To sleep is wahala as all my body aches. But in all... I am grateful I smiled again... God bless all mums looking up unto him and be with all waddling mamas... You shall all come out with your Joys by HIS grace...

it feels like stomach tighten/menstrual pain or pain in the lower stomach,lower back pain and it won't be regular no specific timing and it will go away after some fews mins to surface later in the day or the next day unlike real labour pain that wnt go away.

Oh! I get it now... I can't relate with menstrual pain cos I don't experience it at all. But the lower back pain come and go.. I haven't really study the lower stomach pain all I feel there is something like muscle pull...

Cappo.. Good morning.. Although my pregnancy journey has been a good ride from eating whatever.. No cravings or diversions really..to doing chores except for once in a while tiredness.. Things that really dealth with me are heartburn and jajaina ish.. Now getting close, I am really tired from body aches sotey my Ori don suffer for my body... Concerning the contraction, pls does it feels like muscle pull? Cos as it is now I can't really eat solid food again my tummy go just heavy and I won't feel comfortable.. So, I take noodles and light food now to relieve me of the heaviness.

Congratulations to all those who have given birth and to us still in the journey and baby dust to all those looking up to God... Know that it is settled..

i dey alwz look n pass weeva anybody say dis but omo!!! E don dey too much, dis advice is wrong.... u shld knw dis dt ugwu n milk dont go together. Ugwu have plenty of iron in it n milk have calcium... Milk will render d iron in ukwu useless by mkin d body not able to absorb d iron in ukwu reason y doctors alwz say used iron 2hrs b4 or after u use calcium in order to get better result. Iron n calcium contradict each oda.

That's the only problem but you can add milk to reduce it.... You'll just have to bear it for you and your LO.

You can get blood tonic as suggested and also try ugwu with milk... You can always squeeze your ugwu leaves and drain the juice for consumption.

I also experience the after bitter taste here too,but it does not stop me from eating the fruits and sometimes it I blend it to make smoothies

team September,hope we are all good, let's not forget to put excercise into our daily activities,it might just be walking between 5-10mins per day and for the working class mama that comes home at night can just do thiers at weekend alone.lets ensure we put more vegetables and fruits into our diet.do have a lovely weekend.

I am fine Capt.. I am lazy with the walk o and I detest fruit for now cos of the bitter taste it leaves in my mouth after consumption. Hope it won't have effect on me and my LO sha? Although, I eat veggies alot... How are you too fairing?? And thanks for the regular updates on dos and don'ts of pregnancy. God bless you!

I tell you sis... Today as I was walking, it hooked me I shouted.. When I saw that eyes were on me. I had to turn it to song. It wasn't funny. I was just telling the baby to let us get home jejely.

I greet all the mamas. I am a dh asking on behalf of an pregnant mother. Pls what's the best means of reducing heartburn. All forms of medication has failed. Even hospital has ran out of ideas.

She needs to reduce fried foods and also watch what triggers it.. I have also been battling with the same issue. Bean triggers it too. I complained the last time I when for antenatal. I was told to use Gascol but it's not too effective for me though but I am managing it.. She should also reduce spicy and hot intake of food.

After hanging legs for 2weeks in the hospital (as I stated in my last post) the drainage stopped, after 2 days I saw blood but it was just a wipe. Went for scan the following day, scan said that the lead twin T1 had no heart activity but T2 was fine.
That night I started having contractions before I knew what was happening I expelled parts of T1 and the membrane of T2 broke, all the liquor drained out that night.
I was booked for evacuation the next day. That was how I lost both of them
I am back to square one after waiting for so long, I don't even know where to start from. I thought everything abt this TTC would have ended this year.

Sabi Mama's pls if there's anything I can do now to help me take in again pls let me know.

Mamas abeg, I bought plantain for consumption and in the process another customer told me it's not good for pregnant women that it affects babies.. please, how true is this?? She says it causes ökà in Yoruba I don't know the English word for it.
