For a long time now, I've been praying to God for a job. I've fasted, prayed and even gone for deliverance at MFM twice, all to no avail. The bible says in the book of psalms that God is love and that His mercies endureth forever. If God is indeed merciful as the bible claims why hasn't He heard my cry for help? Even me, an earthly father will not sit and watch my own biological son, whom I brought into this world to suffer for something I know I can provide him. My question is " Is there anything I can do to make God see the seriousness of my situation and for Him to come to my help?". My fellow nairalanders pls I need ur candid advice and suggestions.

2. Be in accord with his will.

3. Be from someone righteous.

Or it could be that God has something bigger and better for you.

I never prayed or fasted and I am fine. I have a good life. Maybe you what you are doing is a waste of time.

When we pray , we should pray as if its a petition , Jesus clearly said when we pray we should believe that our prayers has been answered without doubt then we start seeing the fruits. And moreover you can't pray for job and expect a job to fly down from no where, start up something , anything , Ask him for ideas and put them to work , remember God doesn't bless an empty hand he blesses the labour of our hands .

If the 3 things you listed are criterias to receive from God, then nobody is qualified to receive from Him. Though am not one who plans evil or speak ill of his fellowman, I can't say am 100% righteous. What I know is that I believe in God.

My sister, I get what u are saying. Have u seen a graduate who would stoop low to do a security job for a meager 15K a month just to feed? I have done it. What am really getting worked up about is that I know people who dont even serve God or work half as hard as I do who are getting it right effortlessly.
