It's a normal thing that happens in many (serious) relationships. Even guys(few) do it too. The stronger ones may not ask you just to act cool but they would have thought of it many times and just let everything slide and move on.

And what they fail to understand is that the fact that she is asking all these questions doesn't mean she wants you back...it's just as a result of the "after relationship effect"

Some guys are selfish and inhumane too. that's why, sometimes - a sister would just decide not to ask and let it go.
