i am not trying to justify his act, but you should know all humans have a threshold. he cracked. I hope maybe there can be a thread on this issue. i have friends that are in a frustrating marriage because of this issue. it can break a man or a woman! and sometimes divorce might not be a solution especially when you have a child with the wife. be it condom or not, the moment he looked at another woman, he cracked. I don't know what solutions he tried to proffer to the situation, but talking sometimes to your spouse about such issues helps. If both of you are not ready to shift grounds, it is better really to damn the consequences and move on with your lives (that is what i think, there might be better solutions). If he can afford to send the mother of his child to give birth there, I think he should. whether he likes it or not, the child is his and making future plans for the child is also a priority. olokings: 5 Likes |

Our POE STORY Left Lagos yesterday 9/11 with Arik to JFK, flight was on time contrary to peoples expectations . I was using wife's preggy state to harras everybody, fast tracked ourselves to beginning of every line including check in. Flight wasn't so full so wifey had an empty three seat to stretch out. Fast fwd to JFK, we requested for wheel chair, which was magical!!!! Straight to CBP bypassing d long queues.wifey was d only preggy, but like 6 other old people were on wheel chairs. CBP- are u guys related Me- yea were husband and wife CBP- have u ever been to Guinea Me- No Wifey- shakes her head CBP- you have to answer, nodding or shaking your head can't be used as evidence in court Wifey- no I have never been to Guinea(we all laff) CBP- sierra Leone, Liberia Me &wifey- chorus No CBP- ok where're you headed Me- new York CBP- who's in new York Me- my uncle CBP- is he an American? Me- well, he's a Nigerian who's been here for ages CBP- what passport does he have Me- an American passport CBP- then he's an American(we all laugh) CBP- how come you're carrying so much money, guess what, there's a poker game this night wanna come!( cos we declared 11k dollars) Me- No thanx, do t wanna lose my money its for childbirth CBP - oh she's pregnant, do u have hospital letters etc? Me- yes CBP-show me Me- shows letter from Rodolfo of doctoresparati CBP- hold on.( he comes out of his cubicle, stares at my wife for almost a minute and says its gonna be a girl Me- we hope so CBP- oh you don't know already?? Me- well they said its gon a be a boy ( we all laugh again, I never fit believe say na POE dey go on so oo) Have a nice stay and have a safe delivery, Na so we go collect load o, agric just ask do u have any fresh vegetables or seeds, we say no and dat was it The only thing that wasted our time was we had to be directed to another officer to fill a form becos of the over 10k that we declared No checking bags no nothing It's like a heavy weight has been lifted cos I was scared cos we got the visa for visiting wen wifey was already preg and den sent a letter of change of intent after coming across this thread was also one od d reasons i decided to follow wifey on d trip even though na o ly one week I get, but now,I think it was worth it So make una help me thank God!!! Sorry for the long post Wish every prospective an even more successful POE experience 29 Likes |

like i said, whether he likes it or not, the child is his. if he has the power to make future investment for the child, i think he should. it is sad that it is coming from another woman that is not his wife really! but do you blame the child? whether they birth the child here or not, they have done what is not proper. should the innocent child then suffer for it? i don't think so really. olokings: 8 Likes |

@El2015, pls don't change ur decision based on the feedback from this thread. The child is yours, legally married or not. Let her have strong ties, and try her luck. You don't have to answer those personal questions. Concentrate on why u r on the thread, get info and move on. Leave us to our imaginations 8 Likes |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by Nobody: 11:17pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
@EL2015 I'm not in a position to judge you, so I'm just going to skip that part and concentrate on your questions. Many people have asked if this lady has any other ties, but you didn't respond. Are you the only Please, the last thing you want to do is appear to be married or engaged to this lady as that is bigamy especially if you are not a muslim. It will go on your record and this will make it more difficult for you to get a US visa in the future. She should go prepared with documents to proove her ties and your financial/business documents to proove you two can afford it. She should just say her child's father will be sponsoring. And no, she doesn't need to have anyone in the US. Sometimes, the less people one has, the better. Goodluck. As a side note; I couldn't help but notice you mentioned your wife's libido. As much as I empathise with you, my little experience in life has taught me that a very happy and healthy woman/wife will not continuously deny her husband sex for months. There is a fundamental issue in your marriage and I'm sure you have an idea what it could be. Get to the root of that issue and deal with it. You do seem like you have a good head on your shoulders with a fairly decent heart. You've got to look for a way to fix your marital problems. You cannot continue this way. How many more babymamas will you be sending to the US? How much will you keep spending on covering your tracks? You've just got to look for a way out. If not, the more you make excuses why you should 'eat out', the more you drown and lose yourself and eventually, your family. Most times, facing our problems heads-on costs us less (in every ramification) than taking the seemingly "easy way out". 19 Likes |

LadyGuinivere: You see why I had to do this math, so that I can calculate the 'concentration' of the rat poison / acid the wife is expected to prepare . As you can see the good news is the wife is the mother of the FIRST son, ( that's about 50% conc, so as to give 50% chance of survival) and the bad news is the son has green pp while the illegitimate one will have blue pp ( increase by 10% = 60% concñ, that will give him only 40% chance of survival).

Guy u better fashi this your Yankee plan, even though ur plan works, u can't just wish her away like that, she is part of ur life and will remain one for life. Start thinking of better ways to handle this ish. |

@El2015 u have been bashed oooo.. but then its best you tell us what baby mama does in nigeria. that way veterans on this thread can give their best advice. yes the did has been done. mums & dads have pointed out your mistakes. i feel you should follow your heart. let her apply, worst case scenario they deny her. best case scenario she gets the visa. BUT TELLING US HER TIES HERE will guide you on how to package the application u gat the gist?? |

olokings: So olokings can speak pidgin like dis? oh boy eee Abeg, him without sin, cast d first stone. even if we gather beat up ds dude, he has messed up and there's a child in the mix. I'm only sorry for the parties involved. The drama that wants to follow eh! Nairaland fp will catch fire. @el2015, Brazil, Barbados, st. Kitts or even Gambia will be a good alternative if the whole motive of travelling out is to maintain your sanity if the sht hits the fan. At least all of them give citizenship. I mean, look at Maje, Toke's husband. The other woman went to UK to deliver At least she and the son were out of harms way when the kasala burst. |

I agree, the child shouldn't suffer for his parents' misdeeds (even King Solomon, the wisest man ever was born to a scandalous mother-Bathsheba and father-King David). Easier said than done sha to be honest. As for her getting a visa, they'll definitely frown at the lump sum in her account. The poster's best bet is to write an accompanying letter stating he will be sponsoring her and then include his bank statements and other relevant docs. Visa application is always a gamble anyways, the worst that can happen is a refusal. bigfido: |

Ur a correct man abeg... Blaming a womanks libado.. Lemme not even talk ...... Didn't want to comment b4 but Oloking (correct guy)post got me. Yea I know el2015 is been responsible trying to take care of his other child but lemme tell you think think of the waaaaay future . When ur 1st child and other kids after know they have an american brother or sister from another mother . I have seen a lot of things and I can tell you its not a good feeling for those kids. But then again this should be your personal descion. To avoid future problems for ur kids(all) amosngst themselves. All should be made to be on as equal footing as much as possible. My personal opinion olokings: 5 Likes |
