today's Kuthbar was about importance of Sadaqah during Ramadan. the Imam advised us to be as charitable as possible to our fellow brethren especially the less privileged ones. i personally believe we should not limit our generosity only to fasting period just because of the rewards.
was not surprised to see that the Masjid was filled beyond capacity today (courtesy of Ramadan Muslims ). i've nver seen such a huge attendance since i started praying there this year. i pray this Ramadan re-awaken their faith.

Yestday, i found myself in Ibadan oyo state very close to the government house in agodi gate. The place is called 'idi'. Hundreds/thousand muslims gather there to pray. I was impressed with the sermon and sober mood. I hope it continues beyond ramadan
