So with his advice someone who bought an iphone with that version with that bug should not update because the OEMs knew why the phone was shipped with that version.

I don't think so... never noticed it overheating until few minutes ago after the phone has rebooted more than 15times.

I read somewhere yesternight that the battery and power button being short circuited cause reboots.

I just don't know what's wrong. Cos all this just started all of a sudden.
I've been uninstalling some apps since yesterday night.

Don't uninstall anymore apps jor. Just take it to a technician or backup your files somewhere and do a factory reset and see first.

Over the past one week my battery performance has been damn poor. Seems the battery has gone bad as it massively drops once fully charged. I fit see 95% now and the next five minutes I'm seeing 80%.
I was already planning for a replacement battery only to notice the phone reboots on its own for the past 3 days. It just reboots once a day. This has got me a bit worried, as I wasn't planning on changing the phone until summer next year to upgrade to Poco F5.

Who knows what might be causing the occasional reboots?? Any solutions?

in case you don't know, some updates are pushed to phone to even slow down the phone or kill it slowly so that you can abandon it and go for a newer one... it's a tactic top phone brands have been using for years and I don't get to see why Xiomi should be an exception... it's just what it is..

I agree with almost all you said o. But they push updates to us so as to kill the phone? Really? Updates are meant to improve the phone bro!!! For instance, I'm using redmi 10C, Android 13 and MIUI 14. The best performance has come within the period that I've started using this update, the phone came with Android 11, but I'm on 13 now and according to Xiaomi, this is the final OS update. Except security patches once in a while, so I fail to agree with that your last paragraph about top phone makers using updates as a tac to get to us.

To some of us, change of environment is what will need, our service will render in where we are is too saturated there and we need change of environment. But the socialization of the environment might not want some leave.

Another thing you shouldn't stop to do is not to stop trying new things, if one thing doesn't work, think of another thing you can do. Also, don't stop to do research about something, their is always something to research on. That's what make you young, known, and can give you chance over others. it might be something done in a country but not in yours, you can bring it. Last week, I saw a video in Uganda where the guy uses motor cycle to pump water after attaching a single pump to it. That idea isn't common here, I asked a guy from North immediately and he said he had seen it before. So, don't stop trying something new, it is not necessary you base on your field or discipline alone, try to go out of your field and see what you can be interested in.
