Wizkid has revealed that himself and Wande Coal are presently working on an album together.
Wizkid made the revelation today in an interview with top radio presenter Tolu Oniru ‘Toolz’ on BeatFM earlier today. He was asked why Wande Coal was missing from his album despite the very close relationship they shared, and he replied thus:

African Champions Nigeria dropped from 31 to 37 in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday, dropping four places. Nigeria who was placed 31in the World after the World Cup lost 4 points which could be due to the poor run in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
They are now 6 in Africa behind Algeria (20 and 1 in CAF), Cote D’ Ivoire (22), Tunisia (31), Ghana (33), Senegal (36) Cameroon is 8th in Africa and 42nd in the World while Cape Verde, Guinea, and Burkina Faso occupy the 7th, 9th and 10th position respectively. Nigeria’s Group A opponents South Africa moved up two places from a previous 69 to 67, Congo (48 and 11 in CAF) while Sudan is 133 in the world, occupying the 40th position in Africa. Nigeria play Sudan in October in a double legged AFCON tie.

Five star music artist, Harrysong has said he’s been counting his blessings since he released his hit single ”Beta Pikin”. He revealed this in a recent interview with Encomium Magazine where he explained how successful the single has been. Read excerpts from the interview below;

How are you basking in the success of your song Beta Pikin?

Beta Pikin is a blessing. Beta Pikin took like six months ‎to blow, we did a lot of push and work, so I think that’s why it’s staying this long and it’s working for me. I’m enjoying it.

Did you ever imagine it will go this far?

No, we were working and hoping to get to the level of acceptance, love and success. Where we can smile and also pay off, and suddenly things started turning for good which I think it’s time for me.

How financially rewarding is the song for you?

Beta Pikin is a billion naira stuff. If I was to put together the estimate, I cannot even count, because it’s bought me different properties, it’s bought me house, cars and so many other things.

Learnt that you just acquired a brand new SUV, how did it happen?

Correct! I went to America. I went to Boston, I went for shopping for just sneakers and belts and I saw the car at the mall and they approached me and it’s a beautiful car and I paid for the car.

DJ Xclusive has denied reports that he is the biological son of Africa's richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija. The Empire Mates Entertainment disc jockey has reacted to reports by International commerce magazine, Business Insider, which listed him amongst the world's hottest billionaire offsprings.
According to the report, DJ Xclusive (Real name Rotimi Alakija) was reported to be the offspring of Folorunsho Alakija, No. 698 on the Forbes list and the richest woman in Africa, worth $2.6 billion.
Meanwhile DJ Xclusive's rep denied the reports. “It's all a mix up. DJ Xclusive is not Folorunsho Alakija's son, Folorunsho is his aunty." His reps further explained that Folorunsho Alakija also has a son named Rotimi.
The report from Business Insider failed to mention other Nigerian celebrity offsprings, which include, Florence 'DJ Cuppy' Otedola (Daughter of Billionaire Oil Magnate, Femi Otedola), and singer David 'Davido (Son of Billionaire businessman, Deji Adeleke).

Big Brother Africa Hotshots will not start on Sunday as planned due to a fire incident in the BBA house. The show was due to start on September 7 at the Sesani Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa but has now been suspended indefinitely. According to an M-Net press release "M-Net and Endemol SA advise that due to a devastating fire at the Big Brother house on 2 September 2014, Big Brother Hotshots will not launch this Sunday (7 September) as scheduled.
The cause of the fire at this stage is unknown and investigations will commence as soon as it is safe to do so." At this stage M-Net and Endemol are urgently looking for an alternative Big Brother house in which to film the production, however as this production has highly technical infrastructure, camera and edit requirements an alternative is not immediately available. Every effort will be made to find a solution as quickly as possible to ensure that Africa’s biggest reality show will continue.” There were no casualties recorded from the incident.

Davido was a big winner at the 2014 NEA Awards which held last night in New York, USA. The 'Aye' singer walked home with the 'Artiste Of The Year' award, while also clinching jointly clinching the 'Best Collaboration' gong with singer Runtown.

Tiwa Savage was also in the spotlight, she got two gongs as the Pop/R&B Artist, and the female Artiste Of The Year.

The event which was hosted by comedian Bovi and comic actress, Funke Akindele, also had many winners receiving various awards for their hard work, with Oritse Femi getting fair reward as the

Indigenous rapper Olamide celebrated for his musical compilation, as his last album, Baddest Boy Ever Liveth, which was released in 2013 was voted the Best Album. of the Year, while all of Patoranking's good work within the last year made him receive the Best New Act award.

There were performances from Patoranking, Runtown , Oritsefemi , Orezi and many more which thrilled the guests.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Real Madrid ace Angel Di Maria, who becomes the most expensive signing in Premier League history. The Argentina international, who can play across the frontline and in midfield, moves to Old Trafford in a deal worth £59.7 million - which will reach £65m including add-ons - and is now the fifth-costliest player ever. The 26-year-old, whom United hope can galvanise a squad who have picked up just a single point from their opening two league matches, has signed a five-year contract worth close to the £300,000-per-week earned by skipper Wayne Rooney. Accounting for wages, add-ons, bonuses and signing-on fees, the total cost of the deal could rise to as much as £150m.

A giant tortoise named “Pepe the Missionary,” who is known as one of the most photographed animals on Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands, has died at age 60. Pepe rose to fame as a mascot for Franciscan missionaries, whom he lived with for many years. He was well loved by tourists who visited the area. According to reports, his organs had begun to fail, and he was overweight.
He died of “natural causes” at the Galapagos National Park on Friday. Pepe comes from the Chelonoidis Becki species of tortoises known for living for up to 100 or 200 years. And so he was considered a “young adult” when he passed away. Paying tribute to the tortoise, Park Director Arturo Izurieta said, “After 6o years of life, Pepe the missionary will remain in our memories forever.” R.I.P Pepe.

Luis Suarez has had his appeal against the four-month ban placed upon him by Fifa rejected by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, but will be allowed to train with Barcelona. Suarez was originally banned by Fifa from all football-related activity after biting Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's 1-0 win over Italy in a World Cup fixture in Natal in June. But CAS has made the decision that the Uruguayan should be allowed to return to work, albeit with his playing suspension remaining in place.

A CAS statement explained: "The CAS Panel found that the sanctions imposed on the player were generally proportionate to the offence committed. It has however considered that the stadium ban and the ban from 'any football-related activity' were excessive given that such measures are not appropriate to sanction the offence committed by the player and would still have an impact on his activity after the end of the suspension." The 27-year-old can now train with his new Barcelona team-mates for the first time since his €88 million transfer from Liverpool, while he can also commit to promotional activity.

He is due to return to the playing field on October 26, one day after Barcelona are scheduled to play rivals Real Madrid in La Liga. However, Suarez could well feature in the Classico as national TV could decide to change it to a Sunday fixture. He will sit out the first 11 games of Barcelona's season, while his nine-match international ban is still applicable. However, he is permitted to play friendly matches, including Monday's Gamper Trophy clash with Club Leon at Camp Nou.
