It will be sad if we dont qualify for the World Cup especially since its going to be in Africa. We'll have to wait until 2014. Haba! |

@presido1 Stop that joke, mate. I'm all worked up in my apartment now. It is now that we will really know how good Amodu is. The Kenyans even scored a goal against the stronger Tunisians yesterday. @ tocdee why did you say I am lucky? I really want to see some minutes of the match. |

someone should buy FM 09 for Amodu and his crew. It will help them seriously. |

Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by nguage(m): 4:00pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
When I was shouting and talking about Amodu's lack of tactical knowledge, people kept reminding me about how he won all his games during the 1st qualifying round. Is there still anyone out there who still thinks Amodu is good enough? Anyway, what a shitty game to skip church for. |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by sherrify: 4:01pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
the idiot amodu wants us to start relying on calculations and praying for loose to tunisia, abeg the earlier we know this the better our problem is not the players but the coaches and the fa it's self |

I can't believe I sat through 90 minutes of Arabic commentary for the eagles to play a draw. |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by Gayigaskia(m): 4:03pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
Siasia's Olympic boys would have won this game by 4 to 0 |

It takes time to grow a winning team. Have patience with Amodu! |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by Sauron1: 4:06pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
presido1: I dunno why Nigerians are not patient. First away game ended in a draw and people are this paranoid. Cameroun lost to a lowly rated Togo last night. . . . . .Nigeria can still qualify. There are plenty of games to go round. |

I ran away from church, took bike all the way from Oshodi to Egbeda just to come watch a match that almost made me depressed, God!!!! THE MIDFIELD IS THE MAIN PROBLEM, FOLLOWED BY THE STRIKER (MARTINS) I.K UCHE didn't display today at all, it's not a curse, MARTINS IS GOING TO EB SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENT IN ANY GOOD CLUB APART FROM NEWCASTLE. |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by texazzpete(m): 4:07pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
Seun: You can bet that this is the same tired excuse Amodu is going to trot out today. This is not about 'winning team'. This is about a bunch of players unwilling or unable to play like committed professionals. |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by AjanleKoko: 4:08pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
We begin this story yet again: Amodu shows up in Lagos, declares 'we were lucky to escape with a draw, those boys were toooooo toughhhhhhhhh!!!!' Tunisia show up in Maputo, thump Moz 6-0! |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by otokx(m): 4:08pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
Amodu should go and many of the players too, we need that siasia squad that shocked belgium in the last junior world cup and we need siasia as coach. |

Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by honeric01(m): 4:10pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
~Sauron~: Nothing wrong with a draw, but a draw from a complete team with organized pattern of play. That was not the case here. |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by Sauron1: 4:11pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
dayokanu: See your mouth like an elephant. The Olympic team wouldn't even cope for 90 mins. Give the boys some credits. . . . . . .The match was played in Mozambique. Hot climate and high altitude. . . . . .How easy do you think it is playing in such conditions after coming in from Europe?? |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by otokx(m): 4:12pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
everywhere is quiet in uniport; people are just mourning and grumbling. |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by otokx(m): 4:13pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
that olympic team was well marshalled o and so organized in all areas, they would have tore this guys apart. |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by Sauron1: 4:15pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
otokx: That was a team heading to a tournament. They had 4 weeks to prepare before the run of games and they stayed together long enough to develop team chemistry. The team that played against Mozambique assembled how many days ago?? U cannot compare the situation. . . . . If the Olympic team was that good, how come they failed to win the Olympic gold?? |
Re: Mozambique (0) Vs Nigeria (0) On Sunday 29th March by Redman44(m): 4:16pm On Mar 29, 2009 |
@Seun Amodu should have put together his winning team by now. There is no time to waste. I will not accept any of the excuses he is going to give to the Nigerian sports media. He was given enough time to assemble a good squad for the qualifiers. The Eagles have spoilt my day. This is not the time for us to drop points. If they had played well and still drew the game, I would not be angry. However, they did not impress us. So Tunisia is leading the group now. We will have to play catch up to the Carthage Eagles. It is this same Tunisia that stopped us from qualifying for some important tournaments in the past. The eagles have started badly o |
