Mogidi:I'm surprised some people credit the improved power generation to Buhari. It's on record that GEJ built the highest numbers of power stations among president Nigeria has ever had. He commissioned most of them in his last days in office and this improved generation is the fruit. Even Buhari will reject this credit. 3 Likes |

It is shameful we are celebrating 5000MW in the 21th century. What GEJ has done to Nigeria in the past six cannot be over looked. |

pgrex20: Credit is for which GEJ? Are you living in Nigeria so?? Some of you guys don't even know what's been really wrong with this country. You seem not to realize why GEJ was voted out. What we're celebrating Is the END OF IMPUNITY! We have been generating over 4,000 MW of electricity for years now, the problem is impunity in the gas supply sector. All these "gas pipeline vandals" Bla bla bla you've been hearing was a hoax, there was nothing like that. Government officials have been illegally selling these gas in the black market and blaming vandals for scarcity of gas to the generating stations. Maybe you didn't observe that these impunity ended on May 29 when Buhari took over, that's when the light improved! 9 Likes 2 Shares |

At 5000 megawatts there's nothing to rejoice over here. Otherwise, it will amount to cerebrating mediocrity. Common airport in Hong Kong is said to generate up to 12,000 megawatts of electricity. 1 Like |

siraj1402:odeh nie. I'm not anti apc, but it takes a little reasoning to understand that the new power plants and the refineries were built in Jonathan administration.. Believe it or not, Jonathan is one of the best thing that has happened to Nigeria. we can only hope Buhari performs better.. 2 Likes |

Its this type of news that would make me never look back once I finally decide to leave Nigeria for good. I've not seen electricity in my house for the past three days and channels is here telling me electricity production has increased. Not only that but we've APC cheerleaders here saying yes to any good news about the party. Nigeria is doomed, I repeat, Nigeria is doomed. 1 Like |
