There is nothing wrong with the man manning the kitchen. And which one is wash pant for his wife? She isn't disabled now, is she?

This shouldn't be an issue at all let alone be a cause of dilemma or dispute.
The guy should sure quit for the time being so long they need the finances but if the man's earnings can foot all the bills independently,the lady can consider quitting.
2 kids isn't much enough to disturb their work,they Can enroll them in a day care and pick them up whenever they close from work.

It's no big deal at all,maturity is all they need to make decisions.

it is not easy to have one's ego so utterly destroyed.

besides, it is somehow ridiculous to have the man do the work of the woman. the most difficult part won't be the man resigning, but doing what he resigned to do.
