Morning y'all....i know this topic does not concern the guys,so if you have no reasonable advice please don't comment...i also know it doesn't belong in this section but i need views from my romance family,am not conversant with other sections....i know also that i can ask google which i have done but nothing within my reach is coming up,so trolls hold your fire only matured guys with sisters and girlfriends who experience this and matured thinking ladies of this section should comment... I have battled with this cramps since day one i started having period and till now no improvement,i feel so embarrassed when i go to hospital concerning this issue,as its a general thing but mine seems extreme,it could make me pass out and it feels am at the edge of dying... Please anyone who knows natural remedies that is within reach drop your comments,drugs does not seem to work anymore...  Please lala,i don't need this in FP. 2 Likes |

Maybe you should try placing warm bottles on tummy. Personally,I take sleeping pills,figured since I couldn't bear the pain,I'd just sleep through it. 1 Like |

Cut down on Sugar, eat a lot of iron rich foods ( Google them). Birth control tablets stop your period for aa while and that should help regulate it. Hot tea and ginger is great for cramps also drink a lot of cranberry juice. 2 Likes |

Take birth or pregnancy control shot at any recognized hospital or clinic.... am not sure Naija offers those shot but u can ask around. The shot stops you from seeing ur period for 6 months each time u take d shot .... it helps to avoid cramps. It's side effects causes you to add on little weight though. 1 Like |

Take 2 handful of rice wrap it in a damp cloth and tie it ,microwave it for 3 minutes and place it on ur back laying down and when ur on ur period try not to be on bed all day this could worsen the pain also drink lots of cranberry juice and just try to not focus on ur cramps get urself some snacks and a good chick flick lol xx |

Smh....*Checks the comments Made* Am I the only One Noticing that the peeps giving the OP advises are Mostly males?? SmH....Nairalanders!!  LoL! Back to Your question Miss....You Ain't Alone...My Mom told me the pain is Equivalent to Contractions during Child birth...Early this Year..My periods were the Excruciating thing Ever! I think the medical name for cramps is "dysmenorrhea"! Yeah! *I used to Google everything then* " " LoL...So, I tried everything... The Hot water bottle thingy doesn't work...trust me...it's USELESS with a capital "U"  ...Even some drugs..Sorry bout the long epistle tho...Buh it goes with time...Take some pain relievers..I Usually Take both "Diclofenac with ibuprofen" ...then, just immediately I drink a sizzling tea...take lots of fruits...even before periods...mostly apples n bananas....I heard papayas does wonders too...they're rich in potassium and all those medical babash! PS....The tea does wonders! take it whilst Hot!and those drugs I mentioned are 50Naira each...so, it's Affordable... About the Sex Thing...I dunno if It works tho...I ain't married too.. hehehe... Buh I think it's just A Rumor...Coz my Aunt still has cramps despite the fact that she's done IT... 3 Likes |
