He is not a leader but a politician. He can't account for anything and so his words are vane. Low level thinking. Why was he not destined to be shot on his way to that house. Rubbish!

PoliticsRe: As Oil Producers,we Should Frustrate Sale Of Electric Cars In Nigeria Ekweremadu by 26carat(m): 9:10pm On Apr 17, 2019
I salute Mr Bruce for this timely bill. It's a good one going forward. Fossil fuel won't be for long. If we chose to go electric in most transportation options, we will be cutting down on air pollution and improve life in Nigeria. USA is a leader in oil production and they are pioneers in the electric car movement. Wake up Nigeria, see the future beyond the present. We won't be at this level for long.
Imagine you have no need for fuel. If the subsidize or not, it won't affect cost as much as it does now. Wake up Nigeria! Electric car is our immediate future.
PoliticsRe: Has Anybody Come Across Buhari's Second Term Agenda Document? by 26carat(m): 10:55am On Feb 28, 2019
Bros, he does not have. The millions of northern support groups he has can not understand the documents so why make it. And besides he has not finished his own personal document to fight corruption. Boko Haram is over. Millions came to vote in the occupied terrorist territory. Just go and pray that all his errors came out good. He has absolutely no plans at all. When you write nothing, your right nothing!

The police is making us doubt this story. How can people just mob a fully armed police officer. What kind of training did he get that informed him to shot at unarmed people. This excuse is lame and the action is reckless.the police should pay for damages. Simple

PoliticsRe: Electoral Act: Buhari's Refusal To Sign The Bill Was No Big Deal - Lawan by 26carat(m): 10:52pm On Dec 08, 2018
I will not insult anybody for this decision not to sign the bill. But that it has been sent four times now means a lot. If you are asked in class to write an exam four times without it been marked. How will you feel? Why not tell them it's a waste of time. That they should wait till 2023. This bill was long debated. How to implement it is not the President issue. He should ask INEC if they can use it first. God save Nigeria
PoliticsRe: 2019 ELECTION : Buhari Not Afraid Of Debate – Campaign Office by 26carat(m): 3:29pm On Nov 27, 2018
My contribution for the debate. First it should start with each of them singing the national anthem and saying the pledge. I have a strong feeling one person does not know it and his in authority now. All other questions should be on economy and unity. No security question should be asked as they both will lie about what they don't know. One is clueless and the other is too smart.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Will Not Renew Oil Licenses by 26carat(m): 1:31pm On Nov 21, 2018
APC will sack millions of oil and gas workers because he wants to redistribute wealth to all. We are not in a communist regime. Is APC a communist party? What nonsense is this. To revoke oil well licences means loss of jobs that he can not create, has never created and does not have a heart to create.
It is said that by their fruits, you shall know them. What has PMB ever built on a personal level in over 30 years. Is he schooled enough to make sound economic decisions for a country like Nigeria. God save Nigeria! May my children see better days.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Will Not Renew Oil Licenses by 26carat(m): 1:26pm On Nov 21, 2018
I see a lot of educated but ignorant folk on nairaland. For your information Nigeria is a capitalist economy. Thus means government should not be in a for profit venture that can be handled by the private sector. The decay of NNPC and DPR today is because government is overseeing a business where it should be overseeing policies. It's a bad situation that is imprinted in our minds and now our generation sees it as a good thing. Reason the economy is not growing is because government is doing business.
PMB revoking licences of oil wells is a bad policy and executive decision. Giving the oil wells to States is the worst and the most myopic economic decision ever made in a capitalist economy.
The level of poverty awaiting our children will be unprecedented. If you don't know this much about the economy, kindly ask a qualified economist.
InvestmentFinancial Stress And Our Well Being . by 26carat(op): 9:45pm On Nov 14, 2018
You wonder why life expectancy is low in our World? You wonder why there are so many diseases out there with all the latest technology and medical advances? Your wonder why the poor die so fast? And why we all are not getting wealthy and healthy simultaneously?
The cheif cause of disease is actual us. Dis- ease is any shift in our balance in both emotional, psychological and economical realm. Any shift in these areas will cause us a physical dis-ease. Which will break down our body defence integrity. Disease is not always the entrance of foreign bacterial or virus that grow, multiple in our bodies to plague us.
Our disease is mostly caused by our honomes ether to our advantage or disadvantage. When honomes are produced as a result of negative emotions like fear, anxiety, hate, pain, anger and all others, the homones that are produced stay too long and there cause malfunction of normal body business.
When our emotions cause negative homones to spike and remain operational for too long. Our body responds with to the disease.
Our quest for health therefore should start with managing our emotions. When we do manage the emotions and get the right feelings all the time. Our body yield better homones that repair and strengthen our body systems.
When we watch our feelings and keep our life in a happy balance, our whole world is balanced.
The chief cause of negative emotion in the world now is financial stress. The need to meet up financial is killing more people in the world. These financial stress produce so much negative homones for us on a consistent daily bases. We are just full of them. As the pressure to meet up mounts so does our blood pressure. Our responsibility should not mean our end.
We need to manage our finances rightly so we can life long and rightly too.
Everybody has money troubles! Don't kill yourself for yours. If you can't meet up, please don't give up. Money is not everything. Life is more important that money. A living dog is better than a dead lion.
Stay alive, live smart, conquer money, be financially wise.
If you need medicine for financial stress, don't go to the doctor.
See a comedian. They will give you good medicine for better life. Laugh is a heart medicine. It cures all blood pressure and stress.
Laugher is what's not engineered alone. If you laugh alone, please know that you have become mad or insane. Laughter is abest shared. Laugh with family and friends. Seek good company
Seek right companion. Hang around people that make you happy and smiling.
All these I am saying is for your own good.
Be selfish with your happiness. It's self preservation technique not taught anywhere.
So hang around the right people. Laugh yourself to health and abundant wealth.
The truely rich people are always laughing. The attention function that promotes happiness and joy. Lunches, dinners, golf clubs, festivals, name it.
They all are preserving their lives, seeking right emotions.
Lastly, seek God. Here you can't fail. You will be happy, joyous and glad. You will keep the best and greatest company in the universe. You will never be lonely or depressed or disappointed.
Be happy, your life depends on it. Peace!

PropertiesIbadan A Treeless City. by 26carat(op): 5:25pm On Aug 24, 2018
Imagine living without trees. Ibadan the biggest city in Africa with no trees. Yes the city is expanding but with the level of education, more trees should be seen in it. The government has no idea of the effect. The inhabitants have no idea too. Nobody is planting trees to save Ibadan . See the reasons why we need trees.
Visual Appeal

Few things can compare with the aesthetic impact and seasonal interest that trees offer the urban setting. They provide huge visual appeal to any area and can significantly enhance the design of a streetscape.

Air Quality

For every 10% increase in urban tree canopy, ozone is reduced by 3-7%.

Trees are also proven to remove carbon from the air, getting absorbed and stored as cellulose in their trunks, branches, and leaves (a process known as sequestration). Planting trees remains one of the most cost-effective ways of drawing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. A single mature tree can absorb CO2 at a rate of 21.6 KG/year and release enough oxygen back into the atmosphere to support 2 humans - those are numbers to be paid attention to.

Research has also shown a 60% reduction in particulates from car exhaust fumes on streets lined with trees.

Health & Well-Being
Trees have also been proven to have a positive impact on skin cancer, asthma, hypertension, and other stress related illness by filtering out polluted air, reducing smog formation, providing shade from solar radiation, and providing an attractive, calming setting for recreation.

Sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and particulates, carbon monoxide, cadmium, nickel, and lead are all pollutants that trees work constantly to remove from the air.

Trees also form an effective sound absorbing barrier to help reduce unwanted urban noise pollution.

The biodiversity of trees in providing natural habitats for birds, squirrels, and other fauna are considered to some as incalculable.

Cost Savings
For every $1 spent on trees, a return of $2.70 in benefits is received; according to the United States Forest Service. A similar study performed in the U.K. byNatural England calculated that every £1 spent on tree planting yielded £7 savings, or a potential £2.1 billion if taken nationally.

Managing Stormwater
For every 5% of tree cover in a community, stormwater runoff is reduced by 2%. Trees prevent stormwater runoff from reaching water courses with harmful chemicals collected from roads and sidewalks.

Property Values
Independent studies have shown a consistent 5-15% increase in property values on tree lined streets, proving that trees increase commercial and residential real estate values.

Crime Reduction
Researchers have discovered reductions in both violent and petty crime, including domestic violence through the therapeutic, calming influence of mature tree planting.

Cooling Effects
Trees reduce temperatures by shade and transpiring water. This helps reduce air conditioning bills and energy use. Studies have even proven that one mature tree can produce the same cooling effect as 10 room-sized air conditioners. This becomes an effective tool in reducing urban heat islands and hot spots in cities.

Trees can also save up to 10% of local energy consumption through their moderation of the local climate.

Adverse Wind Speed
Buildings increase wind speed as wind is forced to travel further around them. Trees significantly reduce wind speed up to a distance of 10 times their height.
Plant a tree today.

PoliticsWhy APC May Never Win On Social Media by 26carat(op): 12:05pm On Aug 14, 2018
Having observed with kin interest the political social media war. I see that only a few APC member are social media savvy. The rest are so backwards you wonder if the have phones. The PDP have been on the offensive from day one. Ben Bruce, Fayose, FFK, Dino and Reno have been persecuting this war on all fronts. APC has refused to learn from the mistakes of PDP. Their arrogance and dependance on the credibility of the person PMB has cost them more than Thier lack of performance. I hate to see PMB fail. I prayed for his success but like my mum always say mind your company. If you walk with thieves don't say you are not one.
While Lauretta rant and Lie exaggerates and the presidency preaches and make propaganda storms, we on social media will watch and keep records of all this wrongs and failures. We brought you in with the power of our words and these words are set to bring you down.

EducationHow Did I Became Poor? by 26carat(op): 10:35am On Jun 27, 2018
This is the question that is begging for answer in my mind as news of the World bank report on poverty classified Nigeria as the country with the largest number of poor people in the world. Imagine 80 million poor and 7 new ones added daily. It's definately heart breaking. The question on my mind was how did they become poor. What created this massive flux of poverty? Let's answer this here and now. Contribute, bring solutions. Let's create an enlightened atmosphere that will help reverse this trend. So for me, our poverty is
1. Lack of desire to be wealthy
2. Lack of mentors to guide our financial decisions
3. Lack of right financial education
4. Poor saving and investment disposition
5. Poor emotional intelligence management ( living like the Jones syndrome)
6. Poor response to opportunity and adorpting leveraging on technology.
7. Poor risk assessment and lack of insurance.

We need to educate the country on how to make wealth and laws that govern money, it's creation and multiplication.
Nigerians need a system of financial education that cuts across class and ethnicity, religion and culture. Let's treat poverty like the disease it is and help position Nigeria on the path of great prosperity.
CrimeRe: 'anybody Who Thinks Bloodbath In Plateau Has Ended Is Wrong':fulani Man Says(pho by 26carat(m): 11:10am On Jun 26, 2018
It's in the interest of the Fulani herdsmen to live in peace with all Nigerians and pursue peace at all cost. I have observed over the years that these people have issues with every other tribe in the country. It is sad to say also that the majority can not communicate in other languages but Hausa and Fulani. Communication in English for them will improve understanding and peaceful coexistence. I pray peace upon Nigeria. My children will see better days.
