Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Zaid bin Thabit said, "We took the Suhur with the Prophet (Sallallahu
'Alaihi Wa Sallam). Then he stood for the prayer." I asked, "What was the
interval between the Suhur and the Adhan?" He replied, "The interval was
sufficient to recite fifty verses of the Quran."

Allah's Apostle said,
"Satan puts three knots at the back of the head of any of you if he is asleep. On every knot he reads and exhales the following words, 'The night is long, so stay asleep.' [/i]When one wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone; and when one performs ablution, the second knot is undone, and when one prays the third knot is undone and one gets up energetic with a good heart in the morning; otherwise one gets up lazy and with a mischievous heart."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If somebody eats or
drinks forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten
or drunk, has been given to him by Allah." Narrated 'Amir bin Rabi'a, "I
saw the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) cleaning his teeth with
Siwak while he was fasting so many times as I can't count." And narrated
Abu Huraira, "The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, 'But for my
fear that it would be hard for my followers, I would have ordered them to
clean their teeth with Siwak on every performance of ablution." The same is
narrated by Jabir and Zaid bin Khalid from the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi
Wa Sallam) who did not differentiate between a fasting and a nonfasting
person in this respect (using Siwak).

Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha) said, "The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) said, "It (i.e. Siwak) is a purification for the mouth and it is a
way of seeking Allah's pleasures." Ata' and Qatada said, "There is no harm
in swallowing the resultant saliva."

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA) Allah's Messenger (SAW) said," The (Hell) Fire is surrounded by all kinds of desires and passions, while Paradise is surrounded by all kinds of disliked undesirable things" (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Hadith No. 494)

*Inordinate desires and animalistic passions lead to the Fire while self-control, perseverance and all other virtues, and obedience to Allah and His Messenger (SAW) lead to Paradise.

*What leads to hell is eaasy to do while what leads to Paradise is difficult to do.

[b] As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

While we were sitting with the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) a man
came and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have been ruined." Allah's Apostle
(Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked what was the matter with him. He
replied "I had sexual intercourse with my wife while I was fasting."
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked him, "Can you afford
to manumit a slave?" He replied in the negative. Allah's Apostle
(Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked him, "Can you fast for two successive
months?" He replied in the negative. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) asked him, "Can you afford to feed sixty poor persons?" He replied
in the negative. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) kept silent and
while we were in that state, a big basket full of dates was brought to the
Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam). He asked, "Where is the
questioner?" He replied, "I (am here)." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) said (to him), "Take this (basket of dates) and give it in
charity." The man said, "Should I give it to a person poorer than I? By
Allah; there is no family between its (i.e. Medina's) two mountains who are
poorer than I." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) smiled till his
pre-molar teeth became visible and then said, 'Feed your family with it."

Narrated Tawus (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Ibn 'Abbas said, "Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) set out
from Medina to Makkah and he fasted till he reached 'Usfan, where he asked
for water and raised his hand to let the people see him, and then broke the
fast, and did not fast after that till he reached Makkah, and that happened
in Ramadan." Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi
Wa Sallam) (sometimes) fasted and (sometimes) did not fast during the
journeys so whoever wished to fast could fast, and whoever wished not to
fast, could do so."

A man came to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) and said, "O

I hope I won't be adulterating this beautiful thread because I'm feeling too lazy to look for the source of this hadith right now, but we all know it. This is just a reminder.

The Prophet (pbuh) encouraged that we say in the last ten days of Ramadan: Allahuma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa'fu annaa.

Chakula et al, pls provide the source.
Re: Hadeeth Of The Day by azharuddin: 8:15am On Aug 29, 2010
Aa'ishah (radhi allahu anha) reported that she asked the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam):

"O Messenger of Allah r! If I knew the night of Laylat al-Qadr, what should I say during it?” And he (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) instructed her to say:
“Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fa'fu anni” O Allah! You are forgiving, and you love forgiveness. So forgive me.”

[(saheeh) by Shaikh al-Albanee (Musnad Ahmad, Ibn Majah and at-Tirmidhee)]

Since Laylat al-qadr is supposed to fall in the last ten days of Ramadan (esp odd nights) it can be recited on the last ten days.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and every servant [of Allah] who associates nothing with Allah will be forgiven, except for the man who has a grudge against his brother. [About them] it will be said: Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

A man sinned greatly against himself, and when death came to him he charged his sons, saying: When I have died, burn me, then crush me and scatter [my ashes] into the sea, for, by Allah, if my Lord takes possession of me, He will punish me in a manner in which He has punished no one [else]. So they did that to him.
Then He[Allah] said to the earth: Produce what you have taken-and there he was! And He said to him: What induced you to do what you did? He said: Being afraid of You, O my Lord (or he said: Being frightened of You) and because of that He forgave him.

Assalaam O Alaikum,
Great News
Hope you all know about the Denmark newspaper who made fun of our holy Prophet PBUH and till now they do not regret, let us make them regret for good, The Danish Ambassador, Prime Minister and Denmark National Channel; all are trying to do something just to stop the boycott by Muslims since last month through which their losses have reached 4 billion Euro.

If we continue to boycott Denmark products 7 months more it could reach around 80 billion Euro's loss. Believers do not let this message stop in your PC. Please forward this text to as many Muslims as possible , Can't u spare 15 minutes in order to spread this message among Muslims ,
ASAP?

REMEMBER THE PROPHET (SAW) MIGHT ASK YOU ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT,' WHAT DID YOU DO WHEN THEY MADE FUN OF ME? HOW DID YOU DEFEND ME?' 7-up drink, LEGO, Cadbury chocolates, Hall Chewing gums or any product with barcode no. starting with 57

Please convince all Muslims to circulate this to Muslim ummah to ban Danish made products.

Assalamu alaikum,

@nopuqeater,

I don't think that film is ever produced. It's just a usual internet-spread-rumors. Hence you cannot find a single website, be it Islamic, anti-Islamic, neutral, etc that reliably talk about the film.

May Allah protect His beloved Prophet, His religion and its followers all over the world, amin. May HE guide us all to the right path.

Assalamu alaikum,

[center][b]Narrated Abu Juhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him):

The Prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, made a bond of brotherhood between Salman and Abu Ad-Darda.'

Salman paid a visit to Abu Ad-Darda' and found Um Ad-Darda' [the latter's wife] dressed in shabby clothes and asked her why she was in that state. She replied, "Your brother Abu Ad-Darda' is not interested in (the luxuries of) this world."

In the meantime Abu Ad-Darda' came and prepared a meal for Salman. Salman requested Abu Ad-Darda' to eat (with him), but Abu Ad-Darda' said, "I am fasting." Salman said, "I am not going to eat unless you eat." So, Abu Ad-Darda' ate(with Salman). When it was night and (a part of the night passed), Abu Ad-Darda' got up (to offer the night prayer), but Salman told him to sleep and Abu Ad-Darda' slept. After sometime Abu Ad-Darda' again got up but Salman told him to sleep. When it was the last hours of the night, Salman told him to get up then, and both of them offered the prayer.

Salman told Abu Ad-Darda', "Your Lord has a right on you, your soul has a right on you, and your family has a right on you; so you should give the rights of all those who has a right on you." Abu Ad-Darda' came to the Prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, and narrated the whole story. The Prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, said, "Salman has spoken the truth."
