Hello everyone.
I have been following this thread and i have read from Pali to Pali as we commomnly say here.
I work in a government regulatory agency and i just finished my Masters in Applied Biochemistry
in FUTA with a paltry CGPA of 3.92/5; i am hoping to head to Germany for my Phd in Biotechnology
or any other related discipline.
Throughout my journey through this thread, both back and forth, i observed that there are no
substantial comments on Phd in Germany, most have been either on Bsc or Msc.
I have been doing my research for over two months now and i am using this month and the next
to get all my document ready. I will greatly appreciate all contributions toward my quest.
I also call on Veterans over there like Monique, Topeajis, Flanje et al., whose contributions have
greatly shaped my strategy, to help make this strategy work.
Finally, i know that with GOD all things are possible.

May all of our Good wishes come true this 2015. Danke.

I have been dreaming for the past weeks about the "NIGERIA, MY BELOVED COUNTRY" video,
the HAUSA song she made too keeps ringing in my head and the "OMODE E MA LOGUN OLORO".

I tried all week to get the latest info about this DIVA, all to little avail.
The only leads i had were threads opened on nairaland like 2 years ago asking the same question.
And the NIGERIA song on Youtube. Infact i agree with one of the commentators that

Microbiplogy is better. You have a lot of options after graduation, food microbiology is one very applicable branch of mcb at least in Naija. In mcb you work with things that you can see and touch. Studying Bch in Naija is simply wack, it is simply a "CRAMMING TRAINING", and it is like that in almost all schools. It is so stressful and it is not worth the wahala. In Nigeria, a microbiologist can do everything that a biochemist can do; but a biochemist cannot do all a microbiologist can do. I am a Biochemist.

Last night i had a dream

The Ekiti Movement for Good Governance (EMGG) has called on the National Judicial Council (NJC) to sanction Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi, over his controversial handling of the suits filed on behalf of the Ekiti-11 by a member, Mr. Femi Ajakaiye and a similar matter filed by the Citizen Political Party, challenging Ekiti Governor-Elect, Mr Ayodele Fayose’s eligibility to contest the June 21, 2014 governorship election.

The group, which said it was curious that a judge would rule on Preliminary Objections, move to begin hearing and conclude the hearing of the suits in one day, added that; “Justice Ogunyemi must be made to explain the urgency in the matter since Fayose that the suits were aimed at preventing from contesting the election had already contested the election and won.”

In a release issued on Tuesday, by EMGG and signed by its Secretary, Dr Abiodun Aina, the group called on the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar to save Ekiti people from being short-changed by the All Progressives Congress (APC), using corrupt men of the Ekiti State judiciary like Justice Ogunyemi.

Describing Justice Ogunyemi as a judge who thrives in corruption, EMGG said; “Evidence of Justice Ogunyemi’s underhand deals abounds in the number of properties that he owns in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State capital alone. The judge has no fewer than 10 mansions in Ado-Ekiti alone.

“Justice Ogunyemi has a mansion at NTA area in Ado-Ekiti, two mansions at Ekute area of Ado-Ekiti, another two at Ajilosun area and one directly opposite Olujoda Hotel, Ado-Ekiti and the question is; how was he able to acquire all these properties if not through judicial corruption?”

The EMGG, which accused Justice Ogunyemi of collecting over N70 million bribe from the APC-led government in Ekiti State, said; “From what happened yesterday, it was obvious that Justice Ogunyemi was desperate to ‘deliver’ as he had promised those who paid him to use his judicial powers to achieve what they could not achieve through the ballot boxes.

“The plot was simple. On October 15, 2014, Justice Ogunyemi will deliver his kangaroo judgment, declaring Fayose as unqualified to contest the June 21 election and that Speaker of the State House of Assembly should be sworn in as Acting Governor on October 16, 2014.

“By delivering the judgment on October 15, 2014, there won’t be room for appeal and the APC’s objective of throwing Ekiti State into chaos would have been achieved.

“The CJN must therefore save Ekiti State from an impending chaos by calling Justice Ogunyemi to order because if what happened in Ado-Ekiti on Monday is anything to go by, Ekiti will burn should anything be done against the mandate freely given to Fayose by the people of Ekiti.”

You and your EMG are all blatant liars. Justice Ogunyemi is my maternal uncle, a well civilized man of God and of honour. He has a house in front of Olujoda Hotel and another the other one at NTA area. Two mansions in Ekute my ass, he lived in Ekute like 10 years ago, in a rented apartment when he was a magistrate at Efon. For your information he took him almost 4 years to build the house he lives in at NTA area after many cycles of cooperative and contributions. My mother who is his elder sister and his other siblings supported him in one way or the other. I helped in carrying cement and interlocks during the building. It is not too much for a high court judge that has put more than twenty five years into his career to have 2 houses or dont you want to ever eat the fruit of your own labour? Take your lies to anywhere, they will never survive. I have not made any comment on this Ekiti issue ever since but when goats and criminals like you try to twist fact just to suit your evil agenda, i must talk. MAY SANGO, AMADIOHA AND UBANGIJI FIRE WHOEVER LIES BETWEEN ME & YOU.
