khiaa:Primitive or whatever you wanna call it, what will you have the girl or family do? Will giving the guy 100years jail term return her virginity? Bottom line is she agreed to marry him eventually & start a family with him. Hope you toe the same line & support your brother if he introduces a divorced mother of 4 as his fiancee? |
khiaa:The issue of her being raped in the past ain't the subject matter here. Rape is a crime and the other man restituted by marrying her so the OP bringing that up here is just to justify his destroying her marriage. In your sincerest of hearts, would you advise your brother, uncle or male cousin to go ahead & be involved with a married woman & mother of 4? Let's be rational. Like someone said earlier, OP should come & give the full gist after introducing her to his family |
SonsOfLiverpool:I quite agree. Like in Port Harcourt were I reside there are no clearly marked out housing/tenancy laws that are enforced. The government has hardly done anything to alleviate the plight of the masses with regards to housing despite the exponential population growth. The last government backed low-cost housing project executed in Rivers State was done almost 20 years ago while the ongoing public/private partnership housing project (Rainbow City) is going to be too elitist when completed, for a town with massive low income earners. Aside that effective mortgage laws also need to be reviewed to stop this accommodation issue |
SonsOfLiverpool:Personally I think it's the Nigerian greed factor. You sure sound like a Landlord now (no offense). Let's be honest, judging by the amenities and infrastructure available around most residential areas we can agree that most of these accommodations are overpriced beyond reason. It's only in Nigeria a Realtor wants to recoup his investment almost at a go. Yet he will be unwilling to carryout his own obligations in maintaining the property. |
If you work in a metropolitan area like most parts of Lagos, Rivers, Abuja, etc then its almost unrealistic to use just a month's or 2 months pay to fund your annual rent considering the average salary of the Nigerian worker, no matter how frugal you're. Unless you're willing to convert the saved money on costly transportation, fear of insecurity, traffic stress, infrastructural deficit etc the list goes on. In as much as one is not advised to live above his/her means or be "working for the landlord", wisdom they say is profitable to direct. |
Jazzlite:Not when it's intent is to expose a crime |
Jazzlite:Conclusive you say? You do know audio evidence can be tendered in court right? Can the said prof categorically deny that's not his voice on the recording? If he so denies hope you know the network provider can be compelled to pull up call records of the prof? Let's just say the nation's educational system leaves much to be desired. |
cdizz:It's good to be optimistic but that doesn't mean you let your guard down. With recent happenings in this our country with almost everybody going gaga in search of money, it's not a wise move to put your self in the hands of a total stranger. Why not go through your phone contacts, relatives (even long distance), village folks that have relocated etc and tell them what you wrote up there? Surely someone in this category must have moved to Lagos and will give you a listening ear. Or alternatively you save up a little, move to Lagos yourself, rent even a one room accommodation that can be paid on monthly basis & take the bull by the horns. Cheers & God bless your hustle |
LG has long lost its glory since the G2/G3 era. If you're not a geek or tech enthusiast it's advisable to avoid their phones entirely no matter how aesthetically appealing they are, be advised. |
2kurupt:Any show? If you reside in PH & have any, holla at me |
I need a brand new Xiaomi redmi note 4 or Max 2 in Port Harcourt ASAP, quote me. Preferred seller should be PH based, no time for long thing |
iliyande:Interested. Are you within the southern part of the country? Port Harcourt to be precise |
Emmytes:If you're so intelligent & already know the answer to your question. Why ask it in the first place? ![]() |
Billyzone4:Definitely. It's easy switching from Stable to Chinese rom & vice versa. They're both available on the official Xiaomi site All it takes is downloading the right file, dumping it in a designated location, active data & running your system update app. As you can see it's quite straight forward. But I'll advise you savour whichever version you have for a bit b4 stressing yourself with switching roms. The differences are really marginal. |
Billyzone4:Congrats in advance bro, your enquires are always welcomed? I intend upgrading my present device to the redmi 5 plus too. Chinese roms are usually the roms missing Google play store & other Google services. That can be fixed by installing gapps of that specific Android version, it's quite easy to find those online. Chinese rom doesn't actually mean no other language options are available or that your apps are gonna be in Chinese. On my earlier perception about Chinese rom over Stable rom, I'll say the differences are now just marginal. So there's really no need fussing over your device having a stable rom, on the bright side Stable roms get official OTA updates. Third party launchers work perfectly without the need to flash anything , you wouldn't even know your phone came skinned with MIUI. Cheers |
Sammy4fresh:I guess that's the price you pay for acquiring knowledge from Google and other online sources. Or would you rather keep your precious data & remain ignorant? You do know there's a price for that too right? Reminds me of the saying "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance". Cheers |
Bridgetania:Maybe you should consider getting married |
Most of the comments here do amaze me. It's high time people especially we Nigerians know that there's more to life than just money & materialistic things |
acekid109:True but that screen size is just perfect, that's what prevented me from getting the Mi max 2 all along |
GrandMufti:I dey tell you. People keep complaining about the SD 625 used on these releases but frankly I was hoping Xiaomi used those exact same chipset again with how reliable & power efficient it is on the note 4/4x |
Gptech:With the introduction of the plus version it's beginning to look like the "note" name might be dropped. |
Good morning y'all. Am surprised the recent launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 & Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus went unnoticed on this great thread https://m.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_5_redmi_5_plus_official-news-28621.php Finally there's a worthy successor to my loyal & reliable redmi note 3 that Redmi 5 Plus looks sexy I foresee these two devices rule the midrange market for the year 2018 @GPtech @GrandMufti what ya think?

Lukmanraji:She's an African all the same. If indeed it ain't her fault then your guy is probably fidgeting & can't put his emotions in check. He may be a stud with other girls but be losing guard with this particular one, shet happens. Am sure he chased her a long time. Tell him to calm down |
Lukmanraji:Is the girl from Bayelsa State? Tell your guy to insist she tells him the whole truth. I've seen a similar case where the lady had some traditional ish done on her to prevent rape. |
shinebabe:If done correctly the SIM tray pops out. You then place your SIM cards appropriately & insert back the tray. You can check the phone pack for possible illustrations or watch YouTube videos to get a clearer picture so you don't damage your device. |
AntiWailer:Very embarrassing I tell ya. Clearly Martial is not his mate, the dude is already married with kids by age 19. Isaac didn't rep we black studs on this one ![]() |
Unlimited22:The Max 2 is an excellent choice no doubt |
Xiaomi mi A1 anybody? Surprised no seller here has taken interest in it yet. MIUI is sweet but with Xiaomi's reluctance to steadily & speedily update Android versions I don't think any offer beats the A1 presently. Xiaomi hardware plus steady pure Android updates = |
Good morning noobody, gptech & other Xiaomi heavyweights. Am surprised there's been no real gist about the Xiaomi mi A1 here, or did I miss it? I know it's not based on miui but Xiaomi's hardware alone is fine by me. Let's have a real-life review for those that have handled it |
wman:Xiaomi phones offer more value for money spent than Samsung, LG & co in the same category. Take the Xiaomi Mi Mix for example, if Samsung were to offer a phone with similar specs e.g. Dual rear cam, tri-bezeless 6.4 inch screen, top range snapdragon chipset 6gig ram & with 256 gig memory etc You & I know it will cost way more than 201k. While a mid range Xiaomi phone within 40 - 70k can comfortably compete with Samsung & LG phones priced at 100-150k so tell me, who is wiser? |
erico2k2:Xiaomi has an app called mi remote on its devices with IR blasters that's compatible with hundreds of electronic appliances, Samsung gadgets inclusive. I do use it so don't get what you mean by demonstrate. |

Unbelievable!!! Man rapes the girl, takes her virginity, impregnates her.... RESTITUTION SOLUTION Not PRISON but MARRIAGE. The girl got her vengeance.
Primitive!!!
